    It was comfortable.

    Right in front of Sakura-machi Bus Terminal, it’s an ideal location for getting to the airport and other destinations. The Onsen was comfortable, and breakfast was excellent with local specialties!

    Hygiene issues present.

    I stayed here during my trip to Kumamoto. I chose this hotel because I had a good impression of Dormy Inn in other prefectures, but it seems that prior research is necessary. As mentioned in the title, perhaps due to aging, the floor of the shower unit in the Room had some black stains that couldn't be removed completely. In the large public bath, there were slippery spots, possibly due to the water quality. After a long holiday period with many guests using the facilities, such issues might arise; however, neglecting these areas could gradually lead to losing customers. I hope improvements will be made. The hospitality of the front desk staff was excellent; they handled check-in and check-out smoothly and left a positive impression with their smiles. On the other hand, I was surprised when one of the breakfast staff ignored my greeting and instead abruptly asked for my Room number without responding back.

    A basic Dormy Inn.

    The bath is highly recommended, undoubtedly one of the best among Dormy Inn locations. However, the breakfast lacks uniqueness; offering more of Kumamoto's local delicacies could enhance the experience.

    The Best Choice

    The previous day, I stayed at a business hotel in Kawauchi, but it doesn't compare. It was comfortable, and Kumamoto had an especially good location. I was able to relax, though I would prefer if the Room also had a bathtub.

    Fulfilled even for one person!

    I took the city tram from Kumamoto Station and stayed alone. First, I arrived at the hotel, went for a walk to Sakuramachi, shopped at places like Kaldi, soaked in the hot spring, and indulged in reading manga while eating ice cream, a blissful time. I had ramen at 9:30 and went to bed. Breakfast was a delicious local menu. I took another bath and continued reading manga until checkout... I was able to spend a very fulfilling time alone. It was fun. Thank you very much.
