    It was a natural Onsen.

    The building is a Business Hotel, but it is close to Goryokaku and the bath was a natural Onsen. Some Business Hotels have large public baths, but this was my first time with a natural Onsen. I ended up soaking both at night and again in the morning.

    There are restaurants and convenience stores nearby, making it easy to enjoy walking around Goryokaku multiple times. The hot Onsen was very soothing for my tired body, but some other members found it too hot. Perhaps because of this, the men's bath seemed crowded, while the women's bath was almost like a private space.

    My husband stayed here during his business trip. He was in an electronic cigarette room, but he mentioned there was no noticeable smell at all.

    Convenient location with natural Onsen

    Close to the tram station, with many restaurants nearby. It was also very close to Goryokaku, making it very convenient.

    Onsen near Goryokaku

    I stayed for one night with breakfast included. I chose this accommodation because it is near Goryokaku and has an onsen. There is a large public bath on the top floor where I enjoyed Hakodate Onsen. The breakfast was delicious. The hotel is conveniently located about a 5-minute walk from the tram station and Goryokaku. I took an early morning walk around Goryokaku, which was about 1.8 km and took around 30 minutes. It was cool even in summer.

    Great location

    The Hotel is conveniently located near tourist attractions and dining spots, with easy access to public transportation such as streetcars, making it convenient to go anywhere. The breakfast was a buffet with limited options, but it was delicious.

    The location is good.

    It is close to Goryokaku, but far from Hakodate Station, so I think the area is not crowded with restaurants except during lunchtime. It is comfortable to stay. The hotel itself is not new, but I think it is well cleaned. The front desk service is average (not particularly pleasant). Breakfast is cheap at 1100 yen, and although it can be crowded, it is good. The unique plum croquette had a taste that was questionable. The bed is quite hard, so I cannot recommend it to those who are used to soft beds. The price is relatively reasonable, and I have no complaints, but there was one thing: one of the towels provided had a terrible smell of bacteria, which ruined the feeling after coming out of the Onsen. I thought the smelly towel completely overpowered the scent of the soap. It is a convenient hotel with a shuttle service to Hakodate Airport and Hakodate Station, and I used the shuttle service, but I noticed the same smell from a man who was riding with me, so it seems that there was more than one towel with bacteria. Also, the person in charge of the shuttle service was much more pleasant than the front desk, and I was very grateful for the shuttle service. In any case, the smell of one towel erased all the good points. I will not stay again, but overall it is an average hotel that is not bad. Also, there are only two elevators, and they are slow, so I never got on smoothly.
