  A Business Hotel with no available reservations.

  This Business Hotel might be one of the best. Although I haven't stayed in a Business Hotel for decades, this is my impression. The rooms are spacious enough, and there is even an artificial Onsen. Breakfast is complimentary, so it’s acceptable for what it is. However, the smell of cigarettes in the hallways and elevators was unpleasant. I was impressed by the large number of staff at the reception desk.

  Hotel with a large public bath near Shinjo Station

  For Yamagata, a paradise of Onsen, it's a bit disappointing that the large public bath uses Onsen additives. However, the breakfast menu is abundant and includes local gourmet dishes. The front desk staff are very kind and attentive. The room was clean and comfortable.
