  Speechless

  I was told to pay upfront at check-in and handed a calculator, even though I had already made an Online Credit Card Payment. I almost ended up being charged twice. There was no apology—truly subpar service. I could have unknowingly paid again, and their lack of remorse was astonishing.

  Mito Sightseeing

  Stayed for one night during a trip to Mito and Oarai. The Room was clean, and the large public bath was very relaxing. For dinner, I enjoyed local sake, sashimi, and Hitachi beef at an izakaya on the premises. I would love to stay here again when visiting the area.

  Satisfied.

  We stayed here again this year following last year. The Room was clean, equipped with necessary amenities and comfortable yukata, and there is even a small but satisfying public bath. The izakaya next door is very convenient for dinner. This time, we were especially moved when we opened the Room door after check-in and saw the stunning sunset through the window.

  All the staff members are very pleasant.

  I think the hotel is not particularly new, but just an ordinary comfortable hotel. All the staff are pleasant, and the greetings from those working in the dining room in the morning are clear and refreshing. During both my previous and current stays, I lost or forgot some items, but I am grateful for the very attentive response I received. It seems that some rooms have drainage issues, and I encountered that this time, but they promptly changed my room.
