    So-called

    I stayed here for sightseeing in Kurobe. The location was good, and I didn’t find it inconvenient from the station. The Room and meals were what you’d expect from a typical business-style hotel, but they were more than adequate. I understand it may be unavoidable due to environmental considerations and pricing, but it was a bit disappointing not to come back to freshly made beds or replaced sheets after being out.

    Just a short walk from Toyama Station

    After checking out, I took the Shinkansen departing Toyama Station at 7:43. Since the breakfast buffet starts at 6:30, I thought I would only have about an hour to eat, but it was fine. The salmon ochazuke was delicious. When I asked to store my luggage before check-in, I was able to use a locker near the entrance—free of charge and with a PIN code that you set yourself. There is a laundry line above the bathtub, which was convenient. Note that the air conditioning is centrally controlled throughout the Hotel. They also have a library selection of books, but since I received a morning newspaper, I ended up focusing on that instead.

    Great value for money.

    I stay here every time. This may have been specific to this Room, but the mattress was worn out and my back hurt a little. Also, the free breakfast is very good, but since it hardly changed over four days, I got a bit tired of it. Overall, though, I’m satisfied.

    It was a clean and well-maintained Hotel!

    We stayed with 1 adult and 3 children. Even on the first day of a long weekend, it was reasonably priced, so this is not a complaint—just for reference. Breakfast felt healthy, with items like smoothies, and seemed more suited to women. The kids were satisfied. (I felt it may not be ideal for business travelers who are used to standard business-trip breakfasts.) The bedroom and bathroom were very clean, so we could stay comfortably with peace of mind.

    Great value near Toyama Station

    I think this is a highly cost-effective Hotel in front of Toyama Station. I often use Comfort Hotels, and they are consistently good.

    Good location and price.

    I booked an inexpensive accommodation since I only needed a place to sleep after drinking. The location is convenient, close to the station with a small shopping mall right in front. The service was decent. The room felt like a traditional business hotel with minimal facilities. There were almost no amenities, non-disposable sanitized slippers, and no water provided in the room. I went to the supermarket nearby to buy slippers and water. The bedding was thin and cold, so I turned up the air conditioning, but the rustling and tapping noises kept me awake. The walls were thin as well; at around 5 AM, I woke up from the sound of my neighbor's door closing and footsteps, making it hard to fall back asleep. Although I planned for a 2-night stay, due to lack of sleep, I checked out on the evening of the second day and moved to Hilton just three minutes away on foot. There, I had a much better rest.

    The dining area was a bit cramped, making it less convenient to use, especially during busy periods. However, the quick guidance and smooth check-in and check-out process were very helpful.

    Reliable Comfort Hotel

    Conveniently located near the station, with free breakfast and efficient service at the reception. I appreciate the comfortable atmosphere of Comfort Hotel, which feels safe even for solo female travelers. The breakfast had a relaxed schedule, allowing me to enjoy it without waiting in line.

    Stayed here the night before visiting the Tateyama Alpine Route for autumn foliage. The location is excellent, less than a 3-minute walk from Toyama Station. Unlike certain business hotel chains near the station, this accommodation was clean, quiet, and pleasant. The complimentary breakfast offered a wide variety and was very satisfying.

    Limited amenities

    Only a comb, toothbrush, and razor were provided; there was no hand soap, so we used body soap instead. There were also no brushes or facial soap available, so we purchased them at a convenience store.

    Breakfast was great!

    I stayed here during a trip to watch a soccer match. The breakfast had a wide variety, which was great. Additionally, the system of selecting time slots the day before helped avoid crowds. It would have been nice if there was a large public bath.

    Great value for money

    Considering the location and included breakfast at this price, it offers excellent value for money and reflects great effort by the establishment. While the amenities felt a bit lacking, the proximity to the station is convenient, and the breakfast, though mainly Western-style, had a decent variety. The smoothies and cod soup were particularly delicious. The staff provided pleasant service with thoughtful attention to detail.

    No issues with sound when using earphones.

    Convenient access and excellent service, making for a very comfortable stay. Stayed the night before a job interview. Thanks to the Hotel, fully enjoyed Toyama. Although noise at night was noticeable, noise-canceling earphones ensured a good night's sleep. The next morning, luggage was stored in the Hotel's locker, allowing for a light and easy trip to the interview. This is based on my son's experience, and as a parent, I am also very satisfied.

    Second stay

    Great location, stayed here again. The bed is spacious, and the Room is sufficient. Breakfast offers a variety of options and is satisfying (not large but adequate), with local specialties and smoothies available, which was nice.

    Great value for money

    Conveniently located near the station, perfect for sightseeing. The breakfast is simple but delicious. Comfort Hotel always offers great value for money wherever you go. The only disappointment this time was not being informed about the tram discount tickets. I happened to mention the tram and was then given the tickets, but it would have been more useful if they were provided at check-in. Still, I appreciated being able to use them!

    Breakfast

    My child, who was assigned to Toyama for work, stayed here while moving. They were thrilled with the delicious cod soup served at breakfast and even called to share their excitement. They also mentioned that the Room smelled wonderful. The next day, they worked hard on the moving process. Thank you very much!
