    Generally satisfied

    I stayed here for training. There was an earthquake in the middle of the night and it was scary, but the in-house announcement reassured me. The front desk staff were kind and greeted me with a smile. The Room was clean and comfortable. I would have liked more amenities for women. I will stay here again.

    It was a good Hotel conveniently located near Ikebukuro Station.

    I needed to stay in Ikebukuro and chose this Hotel based solely on the price. In the end, I think it was absolutely the right choice. I expected the Room to be small, and as anticipated it was extremely small. However, details like the placement of the hangers and chair were well thought out, making it a comfortable stay despite the limited space. Above all, it’s not too far from Ikebukuro Station and not too close either... It’s away from the crowds around Ikebukuro Station, but since it’s along a main road, getting to the Hotel with a suitcase wasn’t stressful. All of the staff were friendly and welcoming with smiles. With Hotel rates rising these days, I think what you get at this level for this price is very reasonable. If I need to stay in Ikebukuro again, I would consider it as an option.

    Single Room Use

    I returned to Japan on short notice and stayed alone in a single Room. Since I’m slightly claustrophobic, I was worried about the Room size until I checked in, but it was not an issue at all. At 12 m² it isn’t large, but the clean and functional Room was very comfortable. The Facility was also very clean. There is a coin laundry and a microwave, which was convenient. All staff—the front desk team, housekeeping, and the breakfast kitchen staff—provided excellent service. The front desk staff in particular were kind and courteous, and they patiently helped me with even small details; I’m truly grateful. As this was my first time returning alone, their greetings of “Have a good day” and “Welcome back” made me very happy. The area around the Facility is quiet, and although I was traveling alone as a woman, I felt safe even late at night. There is a convenience store right next to the Hotel, which is very handy. It’s also about a 7-minute straight walk to the station, which is convenient. I’m really glad I stayed at Keio Presso Inn Ikebukuro this time. If I have another opportunity, I would love to stay again.

    I stayed here to see...

    I stayed here to see a stage performance at a nearby theater. It was not too close to the station and not too far, and the area around it was quiet. There is also a cafe on the first floor, so the location was great. The Room was spacious enough for one person, and it was clean. The staff at the front desk were polite, guided me to the elevator, and were smiling throughout, so I had a very comfortable stay. I would like to stay here again when I have plans such as seeing stage performances around Ikebukuro. Thank you very much.

    Thank you for your help, but there was one issue.

    Thanks to the cold wave, we were able to stay warm indoors—thank you. The only drawback was that the bathroom/toilet door would not open. After checking in, the door wouldn’t open, and it took time and effort to figure out why. It was disappointing, as it seemed a Hotel staff member had locked it.

    Odor concerns

    The availability of towels and amenities for two people was appreciated, and the location and front desk service were good. However, the smell of the pillows and bedding was concerning.

    Third stay

    The staff's greetings have improved compared to before. On the second day of a Multiple Night Stay, only a simple cleaning (towel exchange and trash removal) was done without any explanation.

    Reasonably convenient

    Booking early allowed me to stay at a reasonable price, which was very helpful. Overall, I was satisfied, but the bathtub was a bit small, and it was slightly disappointing that the only beverage amenity provided was green tea (though I appreciated being able to purchase coffee at the adjacent FamilyMart).

    Shower Curtain

    There was a damp smell, which was unpleasant. Since it was my first time staying, I don't know about other Rooms. Other than that, I was satisfied. There is a convenience store downstairs and a café nearby, so the location is not bad.

    This time, a smoking room has been reserved.

    I have used this place many times, and I was finally able to book a smoking Room after a long time. The Room was on the roadside, offering a good view of the outside. A friend came to pick me up, and the traffic conditions allowed for a brief stop, which was convenient. I would like to use it again if I can book a smoking Room under similar circumstances.

    Safe and Comfortable for Women

    Close to the station with a straight walk along the main road, making it safe even late at night. There is a floor exclusively for ladies, providing additional peace of mind. However, it is disappointing that breakfast is no longer included and there is no BS or TV available.

    Overall, it was good.

    The front desk service and the cleanliness of the Hotel were excellent, but the bathroom had a moldy smell and was unusable. It’s disappointing, especially because the impression of the Hotel and the front desk were so good.

    Multiple Night Stay

    I stayed for a Multiple Night Stay after returning from overseas. The location is very convenient, yet it was quiet and I had a great sleep. One concern was that the showerhead faced the wall and couldn't be adjusted straight, which made it difficult to use. I look forward to staying again if I have the chance.

    I had a pleasant stay!

    I stayed for three nights for a concert at Tokyo Dome. The proximity to JR and Metro made it convenient not only for Tokyo Dome but also for traveling to other places. Hotel Facilities - The bathtub is small, making it difficult to soak up to the shoulders (height 160cm). - I had a carry case (storage capacity 60L), but it was difficult to walk around the room with it open. - You can hang about three pieces of clothing. (With a small carry case, you might be able to store it vertically?) - Cleaning is done once every four days (which is okay), but hair tends to clog the bathtub, so you need to remove it yourself. (Towels are replaced.) - It would be helpful if the TV could link with mobile devices instead of just being a TV. It would be great if we could watch subscription video content or YouTube from our phones rather than terrestrial broadcasting or paid VOD (possibly being discontinued?). ----- Although there are some unavoidable aspects due to facilities, - The staff's response was excellent; they promptly assisted with pillow exchanges and email inquiries. - They provided helpful information on moving from inside the station through their blog. - After 11 PM, there was always staff at the entrance ensuring security, which was reassuring. Late check-in assistance was much appreciated. - Umbrellas were available for rent or purchase in case of sudden rain. - There is a self-locking luggage storage space in front of the front desk that guests can use without going through staff before check-in, which seems convenient. - There’s a Family Mart right outside on the first floor, which is handy. - The coin laundry machines were fully automatic and did not require detergent input; they even dried clothes completely—very helpful! -Massage services available until 5 AM were also appreciated. Though compact, this hotel offered warm hospitality and thoughtful arrangements that made my stay pleasant. Thank you! When visiting Tokyo again, including Ikebukuro locations within this hotel chain seems reliable and I look forward to staying again. Thank you very much this time!

    The Hotel is conveni...

    The Hotel is conveniently located near the station and on a main street. The entrance of the Hotel also has a convenience store and a café, which I recommend. Since it was a single Room, it was a bit small, and I would have appreciated it if the TV angle could be adjusted. I stayed in February, so the bedding was thin, and the provided pajamas were honestly not warm enough. As it was a slightly longer stay, it would have been nice to have a place to hang laundry in the Room, but overall, I think the cost performance is good.

    The hotel is close to the station but away from the bustling downtown, providing a quiet and secure environment. Additionally, the breakfast menu was not the usual fare, which was satisfying. I would like to use it again.
