    Choosing Richmond was the right decision. There’s a 24-hour supermarket next door, plenty of parking, and the event venue is also nearby—overall, we were very satisfied!

    A clean, well-located Hotel

    I was looking for a Hotel near the station, and I chose to stay here because the location and price were great. There are also plenty of affiliated parking lots nearby. They upgraded me to a slightly larger Room layout, and the amenities were well provided. Thank you for accommodating an unexpected situation as well. I also appreciated the complimentary drinks and meat soba service. I would like to stay again.

    The Room was clean, but...

    I heard from locals that the breakfast here is delicious, but I skipped it as I ate too much the night before. The Room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. However, during the Hanagasa Festival season, the price for a twin Room was just under 40,000 yen—comparable to staying near a station in Tokyo—yet all amenities were self-service and of low quality. I felt the cost-performance was poor. Since the front desk is on the second floor, you have to unload your luggage on the first floor and carry it yourself using a cart. While there are escalators and elevators available, the elevators were completely occupied by other guests and unusable. Inside the Hotel, guests in pajamas and slippers wandered around everywhere—from hallways to laundry rooms—which made me uncomfortable. Shouldn't rules for staying be communicated at check-in? Check-in and check-out are entirely self-service with no interaction with staff members; yet there’s still a Service Fee charged—why? I hope improvements will be made.

    Breakfast Buffet

    Unfortunately, I couldn't enjoy the breakfast buffet due to a tight schedule during my business trip. The menu was extensive, and everything looked delicious, so it was disappointing not to be able to try everything. Next time, I hope to visit with more time to spare.

    Hallway

    The hallway was noisy at night due to people talking. Someone rattled the doorknob, possibly mistaking the floor, which was frightening. The mattress was firm, and I woke up with body aches in the morning.

    I made a single reservation at the hotel known for its delicious breakfast. The breakfast is abundant in variety, featuring local specialties, and is delicious. The beef in the potato stew was also tasty. When I went around 6:45, it was already late. There was only a little salmon roe left. There are many solo businessmen, and window seats are popular. I think the lounge, which can be used anytime from 12:00 PM to 12:00 AM, is good, but the taste of the coffee is subtle. The drip packs at the amenity station in front of the front desk were tastier. I would be even happier if there were small individually wrapped cookies, so please consider it. The room is small, but the bed is large, providing a sense of satisfaction. Considering it's a business hotel, I am very satisfied.

    I was satisfied!

    The facility was clean and comfortable. It was convenient that the amenities could be taken as needed from the front desk, and the cafe time where we could enjoy drinks and soft serve ice cream was a wonderful service. The slippers in the room were made of fabric and marked as disinfected, but I would have preferred new ones if possible. Overall, it's a hotel I would like to use again. Thank you for taking care of us.

    The room was spacious and I was able to spend my time comfortably right in front of the station. The breakfast included ingredients from Yamagata and was delicious. There were few staff members available during check-in, and I thought it could be simplified a bit more.

    Thank you very much.

    It was our first family trip to Yamagata. The breakfast was delicious, and we were particularly soothed by the smile of the staff at the reception of the dining area. Their service was kind and made us feel very pleasant. If I may point out one drawback, the bathroom had a musty odor after cleaning the day following our stay. Perhaps the cleaning cloths were smelly. Since it's such a beautiful hotel, I hope they pay a little more attention to the cleaning details... Other than that, it was perfect.
