  A wonderful setting where you can truly immerse yourself in nature.

  I had a comfortable stay in the Room. However, dealing with the customer center left me feeling uncomfortable and resulted in wasted time. I understand there may have been mistakes on my side as well, but I hope for a quicker response in the future, so I am giving one star. It was also my first time experiencing that Diamond member benefits were not provided unless I specifically asked for them.

  Staying for a birthday trip

  I stayed here for my boyfriend’s birthday—he loves nature and saunas. When we arrived and headed to the house we were staying in, a staff member was there on the way and gave us a warm welcome. The Room we had been looking forward to had a very relaxing atmosphere, and we were able to fully enjoy the sauna together from the evening until check-out the next morning. At night, we made pasta using ingredients we bought at Tsuruya and the seasonings provided in the Room. It rained a little in the morning, but it was amazing that we could still enjoy outdoor air bathing without getting wet even in the rain. The sauna also heats up to around 90°C. We both prefer firmer mattresses, and this one was just right—we slept very well. The stove was incredibly warm, and it made me think I’d love to live here in winter. My boyfriend seemed to love all the different handles in the Room and was taking photos of them. I’d love to stay in this Room again, and next time I’d like to try a different one as well.

  The morning sunlight streaming into the Room is exceptional.

  I chose an accommodation where we could relax in a private space for a gathering with old friends. The kitchen was equipped with cooking utensils and tableware, allowing us to enjoy making and sharing sukiyaki together. Outside the window, there was a beautiful snowy landscape, and the time spent enjoying warm meals was truly wonderful. At night, the clear air revealed a breathtaking starry sky when we stepped outside. Spending time with old friends in peaceful nature offered a special experience that is hard to find in the city. The room was spacious and very comfortable, making it perfect for a multiple night stay to fully unwind. SANU seems to have multiple locations, so I would love to visit again!
