We stayed with 4 adults and 1 toddler.For access, the location didn’t show up even after entering the map code, but we were able to arrive by searching “Kururi Sanso” on Google Maps.The road felt just barely manageable for a larger car, so going in a kei car was the right choice!The Accommodation itself was wonderful, and we had a very comfortable stay. The pool, mist sauna, and pizza oven were all amazing—we wish we had stayed two nights. We definitely want to visit again.If I had to mention anything, it would have been nice to have two bedrooms. Also, the pizza peel felt a bit small for the pizza oven, so serious pizza lovers might find it easier if they bring their own.The electric bug-zapping racket was also very helpful—great to have!The pool was so good that we went in three times and ran short on towels, so it would be nice if there were a few more spare towels.Also, although it wasn’t mentioned on the website, there were plenty of wine glasses provided, which was great.Next time we’ll come during the colder season.It was the best Accommodation we’ve ever stayed at.

We stayed with two families and our dog!We’ve traveled together several times to Vacation Rental–style Accommodation, and for this price, the quality here was by far the best we’ve ever had.It’s deep in the mountains and some parts of the road are a bit hard to follow, but once we arrived everyone was amazed and said, “Wow!! I want to live somewhere like this!!”Because of the rain we couldn’t do a BBQ or have a bonfire, but the sauna, pool, dog run, and Room were all excellent—we were completely satisfied.The living room has high ceilings and feels very open, so we had a truly relaxing time.There isn’t a meal-included Plan, but it was really helpful that there were plenty of BBQ grills, burners/stoves, and cooking utensils.We definitely want to come back again, so I’m sharing a few points that would be greatly appreciated if improved.[Things we noticed]- After showering, when draining the bathwater from the tub in the bathroom area, drainage was weak and water backed up into the sink area and even into the toilet area, flooding everything.- The frying pan looked fairly well-used; when we cooked meat it stuck quite badly.- When opening the entrance door or windows, it felt like our dog might run out. It would be great to have something like a safety gate to prevent dashing out.- As mentioned above, if a dog does get out there are no fences—so they could end up loose in the mountains. It would be reassuring to have fencing around at least part (ideally all) of the property so dogs can be outside safely even during BBQ time.- The step up from the entrance into the Room is a bit high for small dogs; having a small step/ramp would be nice.I know I’ve listed several requests,but overall everything—from free drinks to amenities—was very well provided and wonderful!We’ll definitely come again as a group!
