    Overall, it was good, but there were a few things that concerned me.

    This time, we rented the entire house for one night. It was very clean, and we had a comfortable stay. When we had questions and contacted you, you responded politely. Overall it was good, but I’d like to mention a few things that concerned us. First, the parking space is extremely narrow. There is guidance to a larger parking area, but it is very far away. I think this should be improved. Next, perhaps for atmosphere, but the entrance is extremely low. Although it was our own carelessness, one person in our group hit their head twice. It’s best to be careful not to rush when going in and out. Also, check-in is quite troublesome. You have to register the names of all guests in advance, and the entrance PIN and a QR code used at check-in are sent by email—so we expected check-in to be smooth—but then there is a Q&A via video call on a tablet, and every guest has to introduce themselves. We were splitting up tasks like carrying luggage, so it felt slightly stressful. Next, the lock for the inside Room requires entering a PIN code as well. In the end I couldn’t memorize it and had to check my phone every time. I think it would be better if this were simpler—such as with a key card or tap-to-unlock with a smartphone. Another point: there was only one bath towel per person. I take baths both morning and night, so I had to dry it between uses, which I haven’t experienced in quite some time. At minimum, I’d appreciate two towels per person. Also, we felt that the dinner venue was somewhat far away. I think Shuttle Service would be helpful here. The service was polite and the food was delicious, so this part was a bit disappointing. Next is smoking areas: In the FAQ on your official website there is a section about smoking that says, “Smoking is prohibited throughout the building including guest rooms. Please refrain from smoking outside designated areas.” However, there are no designated areas. There is an outdoor faucet in the garden area; apparently it’s acceptable if you bring your own ashtray and smoke there. Smokers should be aware of this. I think an ashtray should be provided. Lastly: It’s best for one family or one group to rent an entire house together rather than sharing with others, because you can hear footsteps and voices from people upstairs. If they are strangers, guests on the first floor may feel stressed. I’ve written quite a lot here, but overall we were satisfied. Since there’s no TV, it’s perfect for digital detox.

    An Accommodation worthy of a special occasion

    We stayed in 2F Tara no Mine. The refined space was very relaxing. This Accommodation is highly recommended for a special occasion. Breakfast was also delicious. The sake brewery tour was thoughtfully guided, and we really enjoyed it.

    My second visit to Hizenhama, and my first time at Mitsutake Sake Brewery.

    I previously stayed at the auberge run by Fukuchiyo Shuzo, and when I learned they had another concept Accommodation, I chose this one for my visit. Having the entire building to ourselves was great—we could relax without worrying about staff. The kaiseki dinner was also delicious. The stay included a brewery tour, and the president’s talk was fascinating. As a sake lover, it was a truly valuable experience. Thank you very much. *One small point: there is a gap in the door separating the bathroom and changing area, so water from the shower soaked the changing area. It might help to seal it with rubber or something similar.*

    Authentic Taste of SakeKura

    We had a wonderful stay in the Hizen-Harashuku Sake-Kura Tori area. The air is filled with the aroma of steaming rice and sake. The renovation of Akane Sasu is elegant and sophisticated. Highly recommended.

    It was wonderful.

    The property has the charm of an old folk house, allowing for a relaxing stay. Although it is unmanned, inquiries were handled very kindly, and the staff from the kaiseki restaurant who delivered the meals were truly pleasant. It is one of the stays I would like to visit again.
