Randor Hotel Sapporo Suites

For the past few years, I’ve been using this as my regular Accommodation in Sapporo. Pricing seems to be per Room, so it’s probably a great deal for families, but depending on the season it can be very reasonably priced and also works well for a Multiple Night Stay as a solo traveler.It’s within walking distance of Susukino Station on the Namboku Subway Line, and in winter you can also use the streetcar stop at Higashi-Honganji-mae. There are several well-known ramen shops nearby that stay open late, so finding a late-night meal is never an issue.The Room is spacious, and the kitchen refrigerator is large. Above all, the spa bath is excellent. If you bring your own bath salts, you can fully enjoy an Onsen-like experience. It may even be more comfortable than staying at a Hotel with a large public bath, since you can relax freely at your own pace. The hair dryer had also been upgraded to a newer model.However, it’s slightly inconvenient if you want to do PC work in the Room for a workcation. Using just the table and sofa can be tough on your body. Since all Rooms are spacious enough, I really wish there were a desk and chair in one corner—or that they offered concept Rooms equipped with that kind of setup.

We stayed here on a trip with three friends. The Room was clean and spacious, and even with three people we were able to spend 3 nights and 4 days comfortably, so we were satisfied.The best part was that bath towels were placed in the elevator hall and could be taken freely.Since we took showers several times, we really appreciated not having to reuse towels.However, I hope you can check the hair dryer in the Room and the laundry dryer.The hair dryer was probably broken—the airflow was so weak that it took a very long time to dry my hair.Also, even after running the laundry dryer for an hour, not even a T-shirt dried. We added another 30 minutes, but it still wasn’t fully dry, so we ended up hanging our clothes in the Room.Overall, we were happy with our stay and would like to use it again when we come to Sapporo!Thank you!
