  Highly Satisfied

  This was my first time staying here. Six stylish accommodations are located along the Kawabe River, known for having the best water quality in Japan, with a clear view of its riverbed. By chance, my stay coincided with a local festival, allowing me to enjoy fireworks while dining—a truly unforgettable experience. The amenities were excellent, and the interior design showed great attention to detail. The stunning autumn mountain views from both inside the room and the deck were breathtaking, accompanied by soothing bird songs and the sound of flowing water. Dinner was absolutely delicious in every way. Although I heard that there are plans for constructing a dam on Kawabe River and potential location changes in the future (details yet undecided), this place has left such an impression that I definitely want to visit again. I had an incredibly pleasant stay! Thank you so much!

  Unique experience!

  Located slightly north of Hitoyoshi in Kumamoto, coming from Kagoshima, this charming Stays is nestled along the river after climbing a mountain path and descending a steep road. The Room resembles an independent cottage, with a tent equipped with a kotatsu at the back. It was a hidden retreat-like space where we had a great time with family! Meals were served as a course at the restaurant (Myojin), featuring unique dishes including game meat (yet easy for children to eat)! It was very delicious, but since it was unique, a bit more explanation would have been interesting! It was a cold day with a little snow at night, so we didn't engage in outdoor activities. However, the staff's hospitality was pleasant, and we had a very comfortable stay!
