    I stayed at this Acc...

    I stayed at this Accommodation for three nights. The building itself is stylish, just like in the photos, but unfortunately the maintenance was extremely poor. In the first-floor Room, the closet smelled musty, so if you hung clothes there they ended up smelling moldy. The bedroom curtains were covered in mold, there was hair all over the floor, and when I opened the piano lid it was full of hair and dust, so I didn’t feel like playing it. In the bathroom, even with the bathtub stopper in place, the water wouldn’t stay in unless you pushed it firmly down. Also, although this is a pet-friendly Accommodation, there were only small trash bins without lids and no pet supplies at all, so I don’t think it’s suitable for guests traveling with pets.

    A fantastical Accommodation floating in the forest

    From the moment we arrived and stepped into the forest, we were captivated by the beautiful architecture. Lush greenery stretches as far as the eye can see, and the space—where white walls blend perfectly with tasteful furnishings—made us feel happy just being there. What impressed us most was the top-floor bedroom and the glass-walled bath. It felt as if we were floating in the forest, and spending time surrounded by nature was an unforgettable experience. The staff were wonderful—always attentive and courteous—which made our stay comfortable and worry-free from start to finish. We visited with our dog this time, and it was truly dog-friendly. Our pet stayed relaxed throughout and seemed to enjoy every moment. Above all, a morning walk through the forest is exceptional. The clear air and peaceful silence created a special kind of time that’s hard to find in everyday life. A place we would love to return to—and one we can wholeheartedly recommend.

    It was stylish and comfortable.

    We stayed here for a family trip with our dog. We thought it might be cold, but it was very warm, and everything we needed was provided—including tableware, cooking utensils, and even a washing machine—so we had a very comfortable stay. We would love to stay again.

    It was wonderful.

    A Hotel nestled in the forest where you can enjoy an extraordinary escape. It has floor-to-ceiling glass walls, but privacy didn’t feel like much of a concern. Before staying, I thought it might be a bit cold, but the room was properly heated and very comfortable! The staff were kind and helpful as well. I’d love to stay again.

    Thanks to the floor-to-ceiling glass, we enjoyed a relaxing staycation with a wonderful sense of openness while staying warm in the Room.

    My wife was delighted.

    I’ve stayed at luxury Hotels across The whole country, but I realized I’d never really spent time in nature—more specifically, “forced” myself to slow down—so my wife and I stayed here. As described, the architecture is incredible, but actually spending time inside felt truly relaxing, and the nature-filled scenery was outstanding. We could brew coffee and sit facing each other at the table, read books, and fully enjoy a way of spending time that we would never manage at home because of all the distractions. It may sound cliché, but I didn’t expect being in nature to feel this comfortable. The manager was also wonderfully helpful. In particular, we made a last-minute request for Italian catering delivery, and it was so delicious that my wife wanted to look up the restaurant and visit in person later. Thank you very much.

    A truly high-quality treehouse!

    The architecture was so captivating that doing nothing felt more than enough—if anything, there was real value in simply being still. Even in winter, sunlight streamed in and it stayed warm. I was truly impressed by how thoughtfully and precisely it had been designed and built.

    That’s all for the photos.

    The natural scenery of Karuizawa spreading out beyond the windows and the open, skeleton-style layout were an unforgettable experience. Day, night, and morning all felt special—I didn’t want to check out. I especially loved the bath on the third floor. I’d love to stay again around spring next time.

    A cozy, open feel with warmth

    We stayed with two families. Just as seen on TV, it has a uniquely distinctive presence. The panoramic 360° view from inside the Room and the sense of openness created by the high ceilings are truly breathtaking. We thought the spacious interior might feel cold, but the floor heating and air conditioning worked well, and it was comfortable even barefoot. The bath on the third floor was wonderful, and every Room is designed with well-placed windows that create an open feel; we also slept comfortably in the Japanese-style bedroom on the first floor. All Facilities were kept clean and well maintained, making for a very satisfying stay. We’d love to visit again in another season, and we’d like to try staying in the annex as well. The check-in and check-out support was courteous, which made our stay even more pleasant. Thank you again—we look forward to returning.

    With its modern exte...

    With its modern exterior, the building blends so seamlessly into nature that you might drive past it without noticing. Inside, it feels like you're in the heart of a forest, with no overwhelming sense of exposure. Waking up to sunlight filtering through the trees is pure luxury. We enjoyed not only an evening BBQ but also breakfast outdoors, fully immersing our senses in nature. It was a rare and relaxing experience in a space where we could imagine leisurely enjoying a Multiple Night Stay after stocking up on local ingredients.

    I was impressed by the design that allows you to fully enjoy the nature of Karuizawa.

    It's been three years since I last stayed here. Just like last time, I was immediately impressed by the stunning exterior design upon arrival! A beautiful, transparent building suddenly appeared amidst the great outdoors. Upon entering the room, it felt like being in the middle of a forest in Karuizawa, with a 360-degree view. The first floor was a cohesive living-dining area, featuring a piano and offering a high-quality space. Going up one floor to the second floor, there were bedrooms lined up, along with a bath and toilet. The bath was very stylish, and the view from the bath allowed us to see the forests of Karuizawa, providing a true forest bathing experience! One floor down, there was a calming Japanese-style room where the children laid out futons and slept. From the basement, we could go outside and breathe in the fresh air, with nature right in front of us. There are other buildings around, but they didn't bother us, and the quietness at night enhanced the extraordinary feeling. This is one of the few properties where you can slowly forget the hustle and bustle of the city, so I want to visit again. We cooked meals with ingredients we bought ourselves, so it might not be suitable for those seeking complete pampering. Despite being a whole building rental with a skeleton design, there was hardly any sign of people, and we didn't feel watched, allowing us to feel liberated.

    A luxurious private ...

    A luxurious private villa where you can fully experience the nature of Karuizawa. In this extraordinary space of a glass-walled private villa, I felt as if I was blending into the forest. Upon arrival, the first thing that caught my eye was the lush green scenery visible through the large glass windows that extend to the ceiling. Just being in the living room allowed me to fully enjoy the nature of Karuizawa. In the morning, I was enveloped in soft light, and at night, I could enjoy a sky full of stars, creating a luxurious environment that provided a healing time where the daily fatigue seemed to melt away. The kitchen facilities were well-equipped, allowing us to enjoy cooking meals using fresh local ingredients purchased at Tsuruya. The bath was designed to offer a view of the scenery, providing a sense of openness as if I were in an open-air bath. Although the glass-walled design might raise concerns about privacy, the location was perfect, and I never felt the gaze of other guests or outsiders. Additionally, roll curtains were provided for peace of mind. It was perfect for us, who were seeking a quiet, adult time. I definitely want to visit again to enjoy the seasonal changes of Karuizawa.
