    We had a wonderful stay!

    This was our first time at Club Med Kiroro, after Kabira, Sahoro, and Bali. The building is impressive, and the front desk area is gorgeous—now I understand why I heard it was a recently acquired property. The Facility is extensive: there’s a golf course, tennis courts, a soccer field, BBQ areas, and more—so large that some people even get around by car outdoors. Indoors as well, there’s an indoor pool, an Onsen, table tennis rooms, a stage area, and plenty to enjoy. We also loved the breakfast/lunch/dinner buffets. Even if you miss the main meal times, you can still grab light snacks later, which was really helpful. And the bar offers unlimited drinks anytime. When our kids were little we relied on the Mini Club; adults enjoyed tennis and the flying trapeze. Now that they’re older, everyone can choose what they want to do—and we had more than enough fun staying inside the Hotel for two nights and three days. The international atmosphere and hospitality led by the G.O.s are major highlights of Club Med for us; it’s also easy to meet other guests. We’d love to come again. One note: in the Room at this Hotel (Accommodation), amenities and pajamas are available upon request only. We didn’t realize this on the first day and only had towels in our Room at first, which was inconvenient. Overall though, we were very satisfied!

    As expected

    A free gondola ticket was included, and although it was only operating in the morning, we managed to catch it just in time (we couldn't see the outside scenery due to rain and fog). I think it would be pleasant if it were sunny. I intended to just complete the check-in process, but they kindly allowed us into the Room quite early, which was very helpful! That alone lifted my spirits. During the check-in process, we were offered tea and a hand towel. The food might have mixed reviews, but it's similar to what you find at any Club Med. They cut dragon fruit for us and served it generously, making me feel like I was abroad. Unfortunately, the beer server closest to our table was broken.
