Stunning sunset views over the Genkai Sea and an impressive in-room bath, along with excellent cuisine and warm hospitality.
This was my first stay here (date of visit: August 17), and it far exceeded all expectations—it was a truly wonderful experience. We arrived around 4:00 p.m., and the staff welcomed us with warm smiles. From the moment we arrived, even before check-in, we could already feel their exceptional hospitality. I was also impressed by their thoughtful attention when they told us “today’s sunset time” as they guided us to our Room. We took a walk along the beach right in front of the Accommodation before sunset, and the pleasant sea breeze made it the perfect refresh. After our walk, we enjoyed the bath in our Room with a view of the beach. The sunset over the Genkai Sea from there was simply breathtaking—an incredibly beautiful panorama that left us speechless! We also bathed at night and again in the morning; spending time surrounded by clear ocean views and soothing wave sounds was pure relaxation at its best. The sushi kaiseki dinner “MURASAKI” was outstanding from start to finish, filled with careful craftsmanship throughout. Every dish showcased seasonal ingredients beautifully—such as lightly seared grunt fish from Genkai, steamed longtooth grouper custard-style, and overnight-dried sweetfish whose charcoal aroma stood out wonderfully. The main course of Saga beef grilled on magnolia leaf with miso, a comparison tasting of three kinds of tuna, and tilefish served with citrus vinegar were all exquisite—and I was completely satisfied all the way through dessert (Karatsu milk and cheese pudding). Breakfast surprised me even more. Beautifully arranged dishes were presented in a two-tiered jubako box; everything tasted amazing, with a level of luxury and quality far beyond what you’d expect from “breakfast.” Thanks to how attentively and kindly the staff checked on us throughout, we started our day feeling truly happy. With its location, spectacular baths with incredible views, superb cuisine, and warm hospitality—all perfectly delivered—this is an exceptional Accommodation. I will definitely return.

The food was excellent.
It was pleasant to take walks at this Hotel by the sea, and many of the staff were kind, so we had a very comfortable stay. Above all, the food was excellent. The seafood from the Genkai Sea and the sushi were all delicious. However, the bath in our Room was fully visible from the beach and the road, which made it difficult to use. I feel blinds would have been more practical than curtains for both the window and the partition between the Room and the bath.

Enjoy the bounty of the sea to the fullest.
The moment I stepped into the Room, I was soothed by the view, the sea breeze through the open window, and the sound of the waves. Even from the restaurant, the colors of the sky as it shifted from a setting sun into twilight added to our meal. Of course, both the “Sushi Kaiseki,” featuring squid and seafood from Genkai-nada Sea, and the breakfast “Seafood Chazuke” exceeded my expectations. Even the vegetables—often just supporting players—were outstanding, and there were so many refined selections in the shop that it was hard to choose. It was only one night, but I was truly more than satisfied. Thank you very much. I will come again.

An Unforgettable Dinner
Everything—the setting, atmosphere, and service—was outstanding, but the dinner in particular was unforgettable. The sense of luxury in each dish and the perfect timing of when hot, warm, and cold items were served were exceptional. I almost felt sorry that we could enjoy such an experience at this price. Thank you very much for taking care of us.

The meals are excellent!
I was a bit concerned by everyone’s Reviews about the view bath, but in the end, unless it’s the coldest time of year, I think the natural breeze you feel while soaking in the tub is pleasantly like a semi-open-air bath. The usability of the toilet and bath may depend on each guest’s ingenuity. The interior was modern, stylish, on-trend, and clean. The atmosphere of the large public bath was nice, but perhaps because we’re seniors? The lighting was rather dim and the floors were dark, so even my sure-footed husband said he almost slipped and felt it was unsafe underfoot. It would have been better if they had clearly indicated where to park at check-in with lines or clearer guidance. However, even after we got home we kept saying how delicious the meals were—it left a strong impression and made us want to come again for the food.

The meals are outstanding.
I stayed here with my elderly mother. The Room was spacious with an ocean view, and we were very comfortable. We were told the large public bath is not an Onsen, but the water felt soft and soothing. Above all, the food was outstanding. We had a sushi kaiseki course, but there was too much to finish, so they kindly packed it for us to take back to our Room. Breakfast was also delicious—this was the best dining experience I’ve ever had at a Hotel. However, it was a slight downside that there wasn’t an amenity set with items like facial lotion in the Room. They are available in the large public bath, but even Business Hotels usually provide them these days, and many women use them both morning and night, so having them stocked in the Room would be appreciated.

We will visit again.
Located right in front of the sea, sleeping close to the sound of gentle waves was a unique experience. The meals were plentiful and satisfying. There were some Facilities still under preparation, so I would like to visit again once they are completed.
