    Surrounded by woods, the environment around the Hotel is excellent!

    The lawn view from the Room window was wonderful, just like in the brochure. However, I was concerned about the many steps and level changes inside the building, such as in the living areas and bathroom. The toilet in the Room also felt cramped, as it is installed at an angle. (Perhaps the building is old? Still, it feels clean and well organized.) The food was great in appearance, taste, and portion size. The staff were attentive and kind, with thoughtful greetings. The drinks and Kotoku Farm ice cream were also delicious.

    An Accommodation I’ve Been Curious About for a Long Time

    Whenever we visited Oku-Nikko and Yumoto, we would stop by Senjogahara or the ranch, and this Accommodation had always caught our eye. After turning 60, my spouse and I stayed here for the first time. The Onsen and the breakfast and dinner were wonderful, and it was a relaxing summer holiday to see many couples around our age dining in the restaurant. After ringing a bear bell and walking around Senjogahara for over an hour, we headed to Nikko Toshogu Shrine!

    Renovation

    We stay here every year and always appreciate the calm and relaxing atmosphere of this accommodation, which allows us to enjoy a worry-free stay. The slightly aged bath has been renovated and is now clean and beautiful. Both the meals and hospitality are excellent.

    With a location perfect for winter activities surrounded by nature, natural flowing Onsen, and the hospitality of the staff, we had a wonderful time this winter. Despite significant snowfall during our stay, snow removal and compaction late at night and early in the morning ensured a comfortable experience. Thank you very much!

    Open-Air Bath with Snow Views

    The open-air bath was enjoyable with seasonal snow, and the indoor bath was also very nice. The service was not bad, but I didn't like how dishes were cleared away quickly while still eating. The Facility is overall old, but more attention to detailed cleaning would be appreciated.

    I had a peaceful stay.

    I was looking forward to stargazing, but unfortunately, it rained. The surrounding cedar forest made it very quiet, and I was soothed by deer appearing in the hotel courtyard at night. The bath was practically private, and the water felt deeply relaxing. It was wonderful to enjoy a quiet and leisurely soak. For breakfast, younger guests might feel that an additional meat dish would be nice in terms of portion size. With the Plan including ice cream from Koutoku Farm, the voucher stated service starts at 8:30 AM, but it actually began at 9:00 AM. However, when we went there anyway, they kindly accommodated us even while preparing the restaurant. The ice cream was very delicious!

    Unchanging Satisfaction

    I have been visiting this wonderful and tranquil accommodation every year for the past 30 years. I hope it continues to maintain its peaceful environment, unaffected by the waves of inbound tourism. The hospitality of the staff is exceptional.

    Great value for money

    The facility is old but well-maintained. The Western-style room retains a good Showa-era atmosphere, and I was surprised at how spacious it was. At this price, I am fully satisfied. The Onsen is very warming. In the open-air bath, you can see wild monkeys, and the temperature is just right to make you want to stay in forever.

    This is a Hotel you will want to visit again and again.

    This is my third stay at this Property. Although the building is slightly old, it is well-maintained and thoroughly cleaned, making it a very comfortable Hotel. All the staff members are extremely kind and always serve with a smile, which is truly wonderful. The meals are delicious, and the curry served at lunch is exactly what you would expect from Hotel quality! The ice cream from Koutoku Farm available in the lobby was also incredibly tasty, and its popularity is well-deserved. And the Onsen. The emerald green water is visually stunning and leaves your skin smooth and silky, making you want to bathe in it over and over again. Of course, it is a natural free-flowing hot spring. The open-air bath in the gently falling snow was absolutely the best. With convenient transportation access, this is a place I want to visit again and again. Thank you for your hospitality. I look forward to staying here again.

    Although the town was quiet during the off-season, the warm hospitality of the hotel staff and the pleasant Onsen warmed both body and soul, allowing for a relaxing stay. The water facilities in the large public bath were beautifully renovated, and the room was also clean. I would like to use it again. Thank you very much.
