Enjoy a Relaxing Onsen Trip
We stayed as a three-generation family: my parents in their 80s with weak legs, myself, and three children in their 20s. We had a room with a view of Mt. Fuji, but unfortunately, the weather was cloudy. However, the mountain ridges were clear and the scenery was beautiful. The room was spacious enough to lay out futons for six people comfortably. One slight disappointment was that the futons were already laid out at check-in, so we couldn't fully appreciate the room's size. It also made it difficult to reach the window without squeezing through narrow spaces, which worried me about my parents tripping over them. I would have preferred if the futons were laid out during dinner time. The onsen experience was fantastic! We enjoyed both the large public bath and private baths like the cave-style and egg-shaped ones. Playing table tennis in the lobby added to our onsen experience; we even had matches between kids and grandparents. Above all else, the meals were absolutely delicious! It was a full-course Japanese menu where every dish tasted amazing—we left completely full! Although some facilities showed signs of age, everything was well-maintained and clean. Even using an old-fashioned refrigerator brought nostalgic charm from another era. It’s an accommodation we’d love to visit again!

Although the weather was unfortunate, we are glad to hear that you were able to relax in our spacious Japanese-style room. Regarding the futons, they are prepared before check-in as some guests prefer to unwind early. We apologize if this caused any inconvenience and will strive to improve communication about this in advance. Our onsen facilities include 7 large public baths, 3 private family open-air baths (available for a fee), and 1 complimentary private bath called "Kagayaki no Yu," totaling 11 types of baths. The sodium chloride spring water is gentle on the skin and offers benefits such as promoting beautiful skin and relieving fatigue. The large public baths are available until early morning, which has been well-received by many guests. We deeply appreciate your kind words about our meals being delicious; it greatly motivates our culinary staff. Additionally, thank you for acknowledging that while some facilities may show their age, they were clean and comfortable during your stay. We are pleased that the nostalgic atmosphere of Showa and Heisei eras added charm to your experience with us. If you have another opportunity to visit Yamanashi Prefecture, we would be delighted if you could consider staying with us again during a different season.
