The bath and the staff were wonderful.
The two private open-air baths were excellent. I could check availability via the app; both were fully booked at one point, but they opened up about 30 minutes later, so there was very little stress about not being able to use them when I wanted. The shower water pressure was a bit weak, but within an acceptable range. I was slightly disappointed that there was no cleansing oil, though that was also my own oversight for not bringing any. I also thought it was a sensible and practical design choice to keep hair dryers out of the bath area and have guests get ready in the Room instead. I truly felt the hospitality of all the staff—the Shuttle Service driver, the front desk team, and the person who showed me to my Room. On the other hand, sound carries quite a lot in the dining area. As mentioned in other Reviews as well, I wish there were better sound absorption. At dinner it was loud enough to hurt my ears, so at breakfast I used noise-canceling earphones. In addition, dishes were served at a very fast pace. If you want to enjoy hot items while they’re still hot, it can feel a bit rushed. As for portion size, it’s more than sufficient since rice is provided in an ohitsu pot. Because both the Accommodation itself and the staff were wonderful, only the dining experience felt somewhat out of sync. If I visit again, I would like to stay with No Meals Included. Thank you very much. By the way, from my Room at this Accommodation I was able to take a numbered ticket for “Sawayaka Kannami.” It was very convenient—I could get a ticket right when distribution started, go sightseeing nearby, then head to Sawayaka for lunch and return afterward.

A Satisfying Accommodation
Because it’s a small Accommodation, you rarely run into other guests, which makes it excellent for privacy. The exterior is very old. The lobby and hallways have a charming, classic feel—like a traditional Ryokan. But the Room has been properly renovated and is clean. The twin Room even had Simmons reclining beds. The only downside was the token shower booth in the Room and the small toilet, but otherwise it felt perfect. The private open-air bath was also fantastic. Even as the summer heat started to ease, the breeze was wonderfully pleasant. Dinner was an abundant spread of seafood and mountain delicacies, and breakfast with dried horse mackerel was especially good. At the end, the proprietress took a couple’s photo for us. A truly wonderful Accommodation—perfect for a short trip to Izu from around Kanto.

The service was excellent.
When I arrived at the nearest station in the afternoon and called, they kindly arranged a pick-up and also provided guidance about Panorama Park and suggested discounted tickets. The baths included a rotating open-air bath and a large public bath; I used them four times during my 1-night, 2-day stay and felt truly refreshed. The next morning, I left the Accommodation before 7:00 a.m., and the owner provided Shuttle Service to the station. I was very satisfied with the furnishings throughout the building and the Simmons bed. This time I traveled solo, but next time I’d like to visit with someone and choose a Plan that includes meals.

Petals drift in the open-air bath—spring is near.
The Accommodation faces a fairly busy main road. (Traffic decreases at night, so it becomes quiet.) After pulling into the small drop-off area that can fit about two cars and unloading our luggage, the staff moved the car to the parking lot for us. It is a five-story building with an elevator, but since it is built on an east-facing slope, the west side of every floor seems to be against the ground. The building feels like it has been expanded over time to match the terrain.\n\nWe stayed in a Room with a bathroom featuring a small viewing window. The Room is a bit old, but parts have been renovated and it is kept clean and well maintained. It offers an open feel with views of the Onsen town to the east and the mountain range beyond. I think all Rooms have an east-facing town view.\n\nThe private open-air baths offer either a town view or a forest view (the hillside behind). If one is available, you enter and lock it from inside. You can also check availability from your Room on your smartphone. Each bath is spacious enough for comfort, with pleasant stone-and-wood design.\n\nThe large public bath is roomy and airy. Meals are served at table seating in private rooms that seem to have been converted from a large hall. Overall, it felt like excellent value for the price—especially the seafood, which was particularly fresh.

Great hot springs and great food
I stay here every year in spring and autumn and always have a relaxing time. I look forward to visiting again this autumn.

It was very good.
I stayed in a newly renovated Room, and the bath was very spacious and clean, with great water—I enjoyed it many times. The Room was also spotless and truly lovely. The food felt carefully prepared dish by dish, and the seasoning was perfectly balanced—not too strong or too light. It was so delicious that I finished everything without getting tired of it. I was very satisfied with both dinner and breakfast. The only disappointment was that I noticed noise that sounded like footsteps from the floor above. That said, all the staff were pleasant, and I think this is a wonderful Accommodation. It’s an Accommodation I’d love to visit again.

We were able to relax and enjoy the Onsen thanks to the warm, homely hospitality. The landlady’s smile and enjoyable conversation were very soothing. One disappointing point was that the shower in the bath suddenly turned cold, which was inconvenient.

The food was delicious, and it was a beautiful Ryokan.
Overall, it was excellent. It was a compact Ryokan with 15 rooms, but the reminder call to the room before meals and the service from the hostess were great. It felt as comforting as returning to my parents' home (in a good way). The meals, Onsen, and room were all wonderful overall, but if I had to point out something... Both dinner and breakfast started a bit late, and while we were still eating, the sound of clearing dishes from other guests who finished earlier was so loud that it drowned out the background music. It was slightly disappointing since we were in the middle of our meal. That said, there were no other issues, and I am satisfied overall. Thank you for your hospitality. If I have another opportunity, I would love to visit again.

I think it's an inn where you can relax and unwind.
I used it on the middle day of the three-day weekend in September. The private bath, which can be used anytime if available, was surprisingly spacious, and the quality of the spring was very gentle. I enjoyed it after arrival, after dinner, before going to bed, and after waking up. The meals were more than sufficient in quantity, the seasoning was very good, and I enjoyed them very much. The guest room showed some signs of aging, and there was no BS or internet connection on the TV, so I couldn't watch Ohtani's performance.
