    Okinawa’s Timeless Scenery

    A small island where there’s nothing but cycling around, great drinks, and delicious food—yet that’s exactly why it makes you reflect on life all over again. I wanted to see the star-filled night sky, but unfortunately the weather didn’t cooperate.

    You shouldn’t expect too much from an accommodation on a remote island.

    They picked us up at the port in a small kei car, and check-in was smooth. The Accommodation feels like it has been run for a long time, perhaps since before Taketomi Island became a tourist destination, giving it a very simple, rustic atmosphere. We stayed in a twin-bed Western-style room. It’s modest, but everything you need—beds, vanity mirror, bath, etc.—is in place and sufficient; just don’t compare it to a Resort Hotel. The staff were not very talkative, but they answered our questions properly. The location is right in the center of the village, which was perfect for enjoying the quiet village after the day-trippers had left. Meals were generous in portion and included local island ingredients as well; we felt it offered excellent value for money.

    A Ryokan with exceptional hospitality on Taketomi Island

    The shuttle service to the pier was helpful as I had a lot of luggage. Noise carries outside the room. The meals were as expected.

    A comfortable accommodation.

    The meals were absolutely delicious, featuring a feast made with local island ingredients for both dinner and breakfast. There was a wide variety of dishes, all of which were delightful and very satisfying. As a historic accommodation, it has an old charm but provided a comfortable room. The staff were quiet yet conveyed warm hospitality. Located in the heart of Taketomi Island's scenic area, shuttle service was also provided, making our stay extremely enjoyable. Thank you very much!

    Meals are luxurious.

    Includes dinner and breakfast, both of which were absolutely delicious and highly satisfying. Dinner dessert featured locally sourced pineapple and ripe guava from the island. Breakfast dessert included cake and coffee. The location is excellent, with a rental bicycle shop nearby for added convenience.

    The cuisine is exceptional.

    They provided Shuttle Service not only at check-in but also after check-out to the ferry terminal. I stayed in a Japanese-style room, and while the walls were thin and footsteps in the hallway could be heard, the staff offered warm hospitality with just the right amount of attentiveness, allowing me to truly relax. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious, and next time I hope to stay in a detached room. This is a Ryokan I would love to visit again.

    As reputed, a Ryokan with delicious meals.

    I had heard that the food was delicious, so I wanted to stay once, and finally realized it on my fourth visit to Taketomi Island. The meals were plentiful and delicious, and the room was soothing with the scent of wood, leaving me very satisfied. There are various types of stays on Taketomi Island, but to experience the traditional atmosphere of Taketomi Island, this property is recommended.
