    The bath was absolutely wonderful.

    The large public bath was amazing. The illuminated autumn leaves were very beautiful, and both the indoor bath and open-air bath were excellent. *The water in the open-air bath was quite hot. The meals were delicious, and the staff provided attentive service, making it a very satisfying stay! There were few available outlets in the room, which was a bit inconvenient, but it was such a lovely accommodation that I would love to visit again.

    The Best Accommodation to Enjoy Autumn in Urabandai

    On October 29th, I stayed with my partner. As a Kyoto resident, I have a deep appreciation for Japanese culture, and without a doubt, Manyotei is the best accommodation. We set an average budget of 50,000 yen for two people per night with two meals included. We travel six times a year for a total of 12 nights annually and have continued this tradition into our 74th year. Looking back on our experiences, this accommodation definitely ranks in the top three. The reasons are: 1. The dinner and breakfast are exceptionally delicious. 2. The natural Onsen springs at pH 2.1 and nearly 70°C (the morning open-air bath is especially popular). 3. Breakfast starts leisurely at 7:30 AM due to its proximity to Mount Bandai's surroundings. 4. All guests were Japanese (perhaps because it’s a Ryokan or by coincidence?). 5. The staff's hospitality was impeccable. This is truly one of those rare accommodations we want to visit again! Highly recommended for retired couples traveling together. Manyotei is an ideal choice for those who enjoy Nyuto Onsen or Myounoyu Onsen. We will definitely return—thank you very much!

    Memorable Snowy Manyotei

    It was an unusually heavy snowfall on the day, and traveling by car was a bit challenging, but after checking in, the staff's courteous service, the delicious meals, the relaxing Facility, and especially the wooden bath were exceptional. The open-air bath with snow falling was a truly moving experience after a long time. Thank you very much.

    Things That Change, Things That Stay the Same

    Before I knew it, from a time I can't even remember, I have been enjoying the onsen at this property. My heart rejoices in the fresh water that fills abundantly, and then comes the dinner time I had been looking forward to, feeling happiness in the refined sensibility. Listening to the sound of the clear stream, I fall into a deep sleep, hoping to come here again...

    A luxury onsen retreat for adults

    A very calm and mature Stays with excellent Onsen quality and delicious cuisine. The view from the open-air bath is particularly wonderful, and I was enchanted by the beauty of the trees while soaking in the Onsen. It's not flashy, but the staff are discreet yet efficient, making for a very pleasant experience. The meals were delicious, with the chef's attention to detail evident in every dish. The view from the Room window was also wonderful, and I would love to visit again during the autumn foliage season.

    Stayed for the third...

    Stayed for the third time in 10 years. As always, it was a wonderful inn. It's one of the inns I want to stay at many times. However, I really disliked the large number of small ants in the washing area of the open-air bath.
