This was our first stay, and the hostess was very warm and welcoming. We felt truly at home, and it was a wonderful Accommodation. The conger eel course was a bit too much for us in our 70s, so we couldn’t finish the final clay pot rice. They kindly made it into rice balls for us, and we enjoyed it very much. Next time, we would love to visit again for the 3-year-aged pufferfish.

The Onsen water quality was excellent.
The Onsen water had a very silky, slippery feel—unlike anything I’ve experienced before—and it was wonderful. Since it was before Golden Week, there were very few guests and it was quiet, so I could relax. Dinner was extremely luxurious, and I’m sorry I couldn’t finish it all. I would recommend this place to anyone who loves Onsen.

Exquisite Meals & High-Quality Onsen
We recently stayed as a couple and had a wonderful experience. The staff were friendly and approachable, making our stay very comfortable. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious and highly satisfying. The highlight was the high-quality Onsen, with perfectly comfortable temperatures that left our skin smooth and silky—my wife absolutely loved it. We will definitely visit again. Thank you very much!

The food was excellent!!
All the dishes were very delicious, and we were very satisfied. My husband especially kept saying that the pike conger sashimi was the best. I found the broth so delicious that I drank it all. I’ve heard that the winter blowfish is also highly rated, so I would love to visit again. The only disappointment was that the washlet in the Room was not functional, and I wish towels were provided in the public bath. Although the building is old, it was very clean and we had a pleasant stay. Thank you very much.

A delightful accommodation that makes you want to say, "I'm home!"
I enjoyed the "Hamo Deluxe Kaiseki Plan" featuring the long-awaited exquisite hamo from Nushima. The dishes, starting with the rare liver, seemed to embody "the ultimate way to savor hamo," refined over 160 years of history. I was deeply moved by the delicate craftsmanship and thoughtfulness in each dish. Additionally, the hostess's attentive hospitality left a lasting impression. The meticulous care throughout the accommodation reflected her personality, allowing me to feel warmth not only from the cuisine but also from every aspect of my stay, making it an unforgettable experience. The third time is just as amazing!
We visit once a year in summer to enjoy the full course of hamo. The liver, including the swim bladder, is specially prepared and is a rare delicacy not easily found elsewhere. When we couldn't finish the hamo pressed sushi due to being full, it was kindly delivered to our Room, which made us very happy with such thoughtful service. The unique silky texture of this Ryokan's hot spring water is also one of the highlights we look forward to. I even purchased the Ryokan's special lotion for myself. We are fans of both the hostess's warm personality and the excellent service provided by all staff members at this Ryokan as a family.

The staff's response was courteous from the moment we arrived, and although we made an unreasonable request regarding the Room, they kindly accepted it, for which we are grateful. It was unfortunate that the washlet in the Room's toilet could not be used, but other than that, we were very satisfied and would like to use it again if there is another opportunity. Also, there were no pet-related items in the pet-friendly Room at all, so I thought it would be better to at least have a lint roller and deodorant spray available. We had a very pleasant stay. Thank you very much.

Revisited since the end of August last year. The Hamo DX course was as delicious as last year, absolutely superb. The swim bladder was cut in two different ways to enjoy different textures, and we savored it with local sake. We were so impressed by the deliciousness from the start that we shared various impressions, and they kindly adjusted the timing of serving the dishes at a leisurely pace. Every dish was delicious, but the grilled sashimi and the soup were the best. Even though I was full, the broth of the hamo somen settled gently in my stomach. I was able to take the hamo sushi back to my room and enjoy it after a little rest. The hostess's hospitality was also top-notch. Being a historic inn, it has an overall old impression, but every place is kept very clean. What was different from last year was that the shower head in the women's bath had been replaced with the latest one. (Apologies if it was already like this last year) The mist and everything else made it very comfortable to use. The hot spring was exceptionally pleasant, with a slippery water quality that leaves your skin smooth after bathing.
