The Facility is good, but it feels like it’s just one step short.
This is a newly opened Hotel with modern interiors. The Facility, interior design, and garden are well arranged, and you can relax in your Room while enjoying the open-air bath in the guest room. Dinner was Japanese cuisine, but some items were unusual—some were tasty, others were not, and I ended up leaving some. The small assortment of appetizers on the first plate was not good at all. The main sukiyaki with tomatoes was delicious, but the dessert was terrible. Also, there were too many repeated elements across the menu—for example, lemon was always served on the side, and both tofu and desserts were cut into shapes using molds. I had been looking forward to dinner, so it was disappointing. Breakfast was normally good—perhaps it was prepared by someone else? The Hotel has a new style and only a very small staff. The price is not cheap, but it did not feel like the service matched what we paid.

The spacious Room co...
The spacious Room comes with a semi-open-air bath, so you can enjoy it again and again. To put it modestly, you can’t go wrong choosing this place. It was amazing.

The garden was overgrown with weeds.
We had high expectations because the Reviews were so positive, but while the building itself was nice, the garden outside our Room was full of weeds. Even with the garden lit up, it was still just a weed-filled yard. There were also many weeds on the way from the front desk to our Room, and even some vines. The bath in our Room was nice, but the drain seemed clogged and wouldn’t drain properly, which was frustrating. Is cleaning being done properly? As for the meals, nothing left an impression, and I think you should reconsider how the sukiyaki beef is served. If it’s placed on a plate and guests have to add it to the pot themselves, it cooks through all at once. I feel very sorry to say this, but there were too many disappointing points not to leave a Review. I believe there are many areas that need improvement. It was especially disappointing since we traveled from far away.

Everything—from the architecture and landscaping to the biotope, interior design, and dining—is a work of art.
The building, grounds, interiors, and cuisine are all works of art. The guest rooms are spacious, and not only is the greenery outside the windows beautiful, but the mountain scenery beyond feels like an ink-wash painting even in heavy rain and thick mist. The semi-open-air indoor bath also features a refined design, with pleasantly soothing spring water that makes you want to linger. A wonderful Hotel I would love to return to.

The Accommodation wa...
The Accommodation was new and very clean. The free-flowing Onsen was also wonderful, and I enjoyed it many times. The shower booth had a rain shower and a slim handheld shower. The in-house loungewear was made of soft fabric and very comfortable. We chose dinner only for the meals. It felt like creative Japanese cuisine, and everything was delicious. The menu titles and tableware were full of character, and you could really sense the chef’s attention to detail. The location is quite hard to find, but there seems to be a Shuttle Service from the station, so if you are using public transportation, please contact the Accommodation for details. In the morning, we could hear birds singing—it was a quiet, slightly cool moment before summer’s heat arrived.

As someone else also...
As someone else also mentioned, I think it would be good to fix the clogged shower drain and to have either a laundry basket or a towel rack. Maybe the focus is on a stylish space… but since there aren’t extra towels provided, I at least want somewhere to hang them up to dry. Also, the place to hang hangers is in an entryway area like a dirt floor, so clothes end up feeling damp from the humidity. It was pouring rain during my stay. The umbrella stand was also in that same entryway area, which made things even more humid. One more thing—sorry! The Hotel umbrella used when moving from the Room to the dining area has torn vinyl along the frame. It might be worth checking. There were a few things that concerned me, but I had a good impression because the staff were doing their best with a small team.

It was a wonderful accommodation.
As it’s still quite new, everything is clean and stylish. Above all, the in-room Onsen was amazing—I soaked in it many times and felt truly refreshed. We had dinner only, but we enjoyed a relaxed meal with delicious dishes. You can also see Mt. Yufu beautifully from the Accommodation. I’d love to stay again.

Overall, I was extremely satisfied. An Accommodation that stands out for its prompt service and excellent hot spring water quality.
Our family of four stayed in two Rooms. There were a few minor issues, but the hospitality more than made up for them, making it a wonderful stay. [Issues and how they were handled] When we entered the Rooms, one Room was missing slippers and beauty amenities, and the in-room iPad for internal calls wasn’t working due to a system error. However, once we informed the staff, they promptly provided everything and resolved the issue, so it didn’t cause much stress. The only real drawback was that the bathroom drain tended to clog easily. [What we liked] The service was very friendly and approachable, and our whole family felt warmly welcomed throughout our stay. The entire Facility was clean and beautiful, and the hot spring water in particular was outstanding. The skin on my fingertips—where I’d been struggling with cracks—improved surprisingly well even without moisturizer, which really showed how good the water quality is. The meals were also excellent and very satisfying. [Overall] Although there were some small shortcomings, the quick recovery afterward and the high quality of both the facilities and service made this an Accommodation we felt was truly great overall. We would love to visit again.
