  Wonderful

  The hospitality, Onsen, Accommodation, and meals are all excellent. With a private dog run on-site, it’s ideal even for dogs like ours who aren’t comfortable around other dogs. The dog run is covered with wood chips, so it’s gentle on their bodies. We plan to stay again.

  Quiet Accommodation

  This was our first time staying here. When we arrived at the Accommodation, the staff guided us to the parking area and then to our Room, making check-in smooth and explaining everything about the property clearly and efficiently. It was very professional and easy to understand. The Room was thoroughly cleaned, and we had a comfortable stay. The in-room bath was a good size, so we could relax at ease. Our whole family was happy that we could enjoy both dinner and breakfast together with our dog. They also offered cart rentals at the dining venue, so we were able to enjoy our meal comfortably and without worry. We had been considering buying a cart for some time, so I asked the staff various questions and received helpful advice, which led us to make a purchase. It has been a few months since then, and we have been enjoying our time even more while using it. With attentive service, clear explanations, quick responses, this is an Accommodation we would love to stay at again.

  Dog-friendly first

  I had stayed at Kinkonko several times before, and after it became Regina Resort, we chose to stay again—especially as it coincided with our younger child’s birthday. It was an even better stay than I imagined; the time spent with our dog felt truly special. Just as rumored, the consistently dog-first hospitality warmed our hearts throughout the trip. From the moment we arrived, the staff welcomed us with smiles and greeted us by name, and our dog immediately relaxed. The Room and shared spaces were exceptionally well stocked with amenities for dogs, and their thoughtful attention to detail really stood out. A surprise that made us especially happy During our stay, I casually mentioned in conversation that our dog’s birthday was coming up—and to my surprise, they quickly prepared a birthday cake as a special treat. I was amazed by such a wonderful gesture, and having the staff celebrate together with us filled my heart. Seeing our dog happily enjoying the cake became an unforgettable memory. Surrounded by Yufuin’s beautiful nature, this is truly a dream-like Accommodation where both dogs and owners can relax without any hesitation. It was an outstanding Accommodation that I would wholeheartedly recommend for important anniversaries or creating special memories with your dog. We definitely want to come back again! We have stayed at many pet-friendly Accommodations before, but Regina Resort Yufuin was the most satisfying in every way. Next time, we hope to stay in “Kakoi,” the new annex.

  It was excellent.

  It was our first trip traveling with our dog. We were a bit worried, but those concerns quickly disappeared thanks to the wonderful Room and surroundings! The kids were thrilled too. The meals were delicious, beautifully presented, and we were completely satisfied. If we had more time, we would have loved to relax longer.

  Traveling with Multiple Dogs

  This was our first trip with our three dogs. What made us choose this Accommodation was the private dog run. The dog run had wood chips, which I think helped reduce strain on our dogs’ paws. It was also a great size, and they were able to run around to their hearts’ content. The Room was kept extremely clean, and I don’t think our dogs noticed much lingering pet odor from previous guests. The restaurant also has private rooms and is dog-friendly. We were truly able to spend the whole stay focused on our dogs. The Villa Suite we stayed in offered in-room check-in, and the parking space was right next to the Room. If I had to mention one thing, I would have liked one more set of single-use amenities such as face wash.

  The very best in every way.

  Due to an unexpected issue with the Facility, the Room I had reserved became unavailable, but they upgraded me and escorted me to the best Room. From the staff’s service to their attention to every detail of the Facility, as well as the refined meals, their care and commitment were evident in each amenity. I would definitely like to stay again, and I can confidently recommend this Hotel to everyone.

  We were able to dine...

  We were able to dine together with our dog, and a cart was provided so we could enjoy our meal at a relaxed pace. The dog amenities were well stocked, and the Room is spacious and relaxing, with greenery visible from the terrace. With a leash, you can also take walks around the property and use the dog run—everything you could want, and we were completely satisfied.

  Stay with Leo

  Our dog, Leo, is unable to receive the rabies vaccine due to illness. This time, we stayed at Regina Resort after learning that a vaccination exemption certificate would allow us to book. We were extremely satisfied with the Facility, the food, and the staff’s hospitality and service. We had a dreamlike stay and would definitely like to visit again.
