    A Cozy Getaway

    We booked a slightly larger ocean-view Room and stayed for two nights. The Room was clean and relaxing, and the large sofa was especially great. The pool was also a good size. We hope to stay again someday.

    The buffet selection had deteriorated.

    Compared with my previous stay, the buffet selection had deteriorated significantly. Since we couldn’t go anywhere due to the typhoon, the only things to look forward to were the bath and the meals. Overall, the buffet menu felt quite limited. In particular, there was almost no nigiri sushi anymore, which was very disappointing.

    Pool Opening

    We happened to stay right when the pool opened, but unfortunately the weather was terrible and we couldn’t swim. What a shame! Still, we were very satisfied with the Room atmosphere and the course meal, and we were able to relax thoroughly. We’ve visited Harvest in Nasu and Hakone (Sengokuhara), but it’s a pity that Katsuura doesn’t have an open-air bath. Sorry for being picky. We’ll be back again.

    Amazing Cost Savings!

    The bus driver remained silent both at departure and arrival, leaving us unsure whether we could get off the bus. The Room had unclean windows. In the Japanese-style room, I injured my foot on glass shards. The food quality was poor—meat was tough, seaweed was thin and pale green, and all ingredients seemed low-quality. However, the recovery staff were excellent, so I would rate them a 5; but due to the driver’s behavior, it’s a 1 overall...

    I was very satisfied.

    This was my first time staying at HARVEST in Katsuura, and I was very satisfied with the great views, meals, and service. The Room included a Japanese-style area, but I think a sofa would make it even more relaxing. I look forward to visiting again!

    Senior-Friendly Accommodation

    The room was a Standard Western-style Room on an upper floor, featuring high ceilings and a spacious atmosphere. The view from the window exceeded expectations, offering a stunning and open scenery. I traveled with my mother, who has weak legs, but the large public bath and dining area were conveniently located right near the elevator, which was very helpful. For elderly guests, it can be challenging to walk long distances within a large facility to reach the bath multiple times. The meals were served as a kaiseki course, allowing us to enjoy delicious dishes at our table at a relaxed pace. Since it was a weekday stay, we could enjoy peace and quiet throughout our visit. My mother was extremely satisfied and kept saying she wanted to stay at this Hotel again. Thank you for your hospitality; we look forward to visiting again!

    Hotel Harvest Katsuura

    Katsuura is known as a cool place in Japan, so I decided to visit it. While the shade offered a refreshing breeze, the daytime temperature felt similar to Tokyo. The chef at this Ryokan prepared deliciously seasoned meals, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The view from the Room was also excellent.

    The renovated Room was clean and beautiful.

    The renovated spaces, including the Room, lobby, and restaurant, were clean and comfortable. Although it was a short stay, I was able to relax. The ReFa hair dryers in the Room and large public bath were great! It would be even better if an additional bath towel was provided for easier use of the large public bath.

    Katsuura Trip

    The Room was a combination of Japanese and Western styles, clean, spacious, and had a great view. However, it would have been even better if there were floor chairs in the Japanese-style area. Additionally, I was very surprised and disappointed that there were no bottled mineral water provided in the Room. The drinks at the shop were extremely expensive, but the vending machine on the third floor offered them at regular prices. During check-in, I was informed that alcohol is only sold at the shop; however, I believe it should also be mentioned that drinks are cheaper from the vending machine. The dinner and breakfast buffet focused on quality over quantity by utilizing local ingredients, which left me very satisfied. Overall, the staff's hospitality was excellent; everything was clean; and above all else, the buffet meals were incredibly delicious—absolutely outstanding. It would have been perfect with floor chairs and bottled mineral water provided in the Room.

    Tokyu Hotel Harvest Katsuura

    The Hotel is located on a hill, offering a panoramic view of the sea. The weather was nice, and the sea looked beautiful in the morning sun, which was very soothing. Thank you very much.
