    Thank you for your thoughtful attention.

    They welcomed us very warmly. I’m grateful for the thoughtful care they showed for my elderly mother. The Onsen was also very relaxing. With its charming castle town and samurai residences, it was a stay filled with history. Thank you.

    Slightly dim.

    Staying in the kura-style room was truly unique and fun, and it became a valuable experience. Meals were served at the restaurant next door, and everything was delicious—we really enjoyed it! They also had shochu you can only find here. However, since it is a kura, there are only a few small windows, so the morning sun doesn’t come in and it felt a bit dark. After checkout, we carried our luggage to the car ourselves, and no one saw us off, which felt a little lonely.

    We stayed as three generations—my parent, my son, and me—and it became a truly wonderful memory. It was our first time in the area, but this Ryokan was excellent, and we had a very happy time.

    Many steps.

    Carrying a suitcase was challenging due to the many steps, but assistance was provided. The entrance was also difficult to climb. The quality of the bathwater was excellent, though adjusting the temperature was tricky. The meals were quite good, although there was no chicken sashimi, possibly because it was year-end. The local Nichinan shochu was enjoyable as well. The lobby's interior design was interesting and unique.

    It was wonderful!!

    The owner was very kind and attentive, making our one-night stay truly satisfying. Everything was so tasteful!! The lobby was cozy, and we found ourselves relaxing with coffee and ice cream. In the evening, we went out to eat (thanks to the owner's advice, as our child is a picky eater and couldn't finish the course meal at the on-site restaurant). The yakiniku restaurant (Kozo) we visited was delicious, friendly, and reasonably priced! We had breakfast at the accommodation but ended up enjoying it almost as a regular meal instead of ochazuke—it was so well-prepared! Although the Accommodation Fee was honestly on the higher side, it was still worth it for such an amazing place!!

    Thank you for providing hospitality and space beyond expectations.

    It was unfortunate that we couldn't fully enjoy the open-air bath due to the cold wave. The welcome drink was a delightful surprise and absolutely wonderful. The breakfast had just the right amount and variety, leading us to eat too much.

    It was a good New Year's.

    Stayed for multiple nights on the 2nd and 3rd of the New Year. The property is a renovated traditional house, offering a very charming experience of staying in a samurai residence in the castle town of Obi! There is a sense of nostalgia! However, in exchange, the room has a low ceiling and drafts, so you might need to protect yourself from temperature differences with appropriate clothing. Even so, it was a wonderful experience in the castle town. Thanks to the hospitality of the people in the Obi area! (The castle and museums were open from the New Year, and nearby restaurants were also open for business.) It was a very enjoyable New Year. Thank you very much. I will definitely visit again.
