Nice hot bath
The atmosphere of this Onsen Ryokan is outstanding. If there were a sauna and a cold plunge bath, it would have been even better and felt perfectly refreshing. I’d love to visit again if I have the chance.

Accommodation with Onsen facilities
I often visit Izu, but this was my first stay in Shimogamo Onsen. With private-use options available, I think this Hotel is one of the best places to enjoy the Onsen. The meals may feel a bit overly elaborate, but considering everything overall—the dining, the Onsen, and the Room—the value for money was excellent and my satisfaction was high. The considerate, attentive service from the female staff was also very pleasant. Preferences may vary, but I would feel comfortable recommending it to acquaintances. It was disappointing that there were no local sightseeing brochures available nearby; having them would have made the trip even more enjoyable.

I was soothed by the free-flowing Onsen fed directly from the source.
We were able to stay at a great value with the grand reopening commemorative Plan. The Room was clean and spacious, the meals were delicious, and above all, there are two large public baths and private baths as well—each with a different style—so we could relax and enjoy bathing both morning and night. We were very satisfied. However, there were a few things that concerned us. 1. I would have liked some security at the entrances to the large public baths, such as keypad access. Both bath areas are separate from the Accommodation/Front Desk building and are in locations where staff cannot easily keep an eye on them. Also, during check-in/out hours it seemed like non-guests could enter fairly easily, which made me uneasy. 2. I think it would be helpful to have an “Watch Your Head” sign near the elevator on the 6th floor of Nonohanatei. I’m not sure about other floors, but near the elevator on the 6th floor there is a horizontal beam that looks easy to hit your head on. My husband (178 cm tall) had to duck under it every time. Since many guests are tall these days, it would be nice if staff could mention it at check-in or if a “Watch Your Head” notice were posted near the beam. 3. The seafood platter at dinner had many kinds of fish and was very luxurious, and I think offering both sashimi and shabu-shabu is a wonderful idea. However, while either one alone would feel sufficient, if you try to enjoy both, the portion feels a bit small. I would have appreciated having vegetables or tofu prepared separately for the shabu-shabu. The broth was so delicious that this felt especially disappointing.

An Unexpected Turn of Events
Since it had been rebranded and was offered at a campaign rate, we stayed in the Premium Suite. As expected, the Room was tastefully put together, and it truly felt like they had moved away from the image of an old-fashioned Onsen Ryokan. The private bath, which is usually available for a fee, was also provided free of charge. You make a Reservation through the Accommodation’s dedicated app, then pick up the key at the front desk when it’s time. We ended up departing early in the morning on short notice, but we’d like to stay here again when we visit Minami-Izu.

Extremely disappointing.
This was my second visit in a month. I called to ask and was told that Room 601 on the 7th floor (which I requested) was available, so I made the Reservation right away. However, when I checked in, I was assigned Room 201. Even though the request was still in the system, someone must have made a mistake. I had reserved because a room on the 7th floor was available, so it left me feeling terrible. The room smelled musty, and unlike Room 601 there was no safe. When I asked at the front desk, they said it seemed to have been forgotten and they handled it immediately.\n There were some friendly staff members, so I managed to put up with it, but I couldn’t shake how unpleasant it felt. There was no view from the room, and the window glass facing the road side was dirty. This was my first stay here where everything felt disappointing—I felt sorry for my companion and sad.\n In the morning public bath area, the towel bin was overflowing and amenities were nearly empty. The toilet seat also didn’t fit at all—as if it had been added later—which shocked me; it felt like “as long as you can sit.” It was so misaligned that I adjusted it myself.\n The only thing I can praise is some of the staff members.

We had a comfortable stay.
This was my first visit for a one-night, two-day stay. The staff were full of hospitality, and because the Onsen was pleasantly warm rather than hot, I could soak for a long time. The meals were also very satisfying. For the final course, we were told to enjoy sushi “to our heart’s content,” and we had more than enough. Minamiizu Town is a bit far away, but even considering that, it was a very comfortable stay. I will visit again.

Staying at a newly opened Accommodation.
It seems the points of dissatisfaction have been improving little by little, but since I stayed right after the opening, this Review may differ somewhat from the current situation. I arrived a bit early, but there were already no openings for earlier dinner times; only slots after 8:00 p.m. were available. As others have written, why is that? If there were an explanation—such as prioritizing earlier times for guests with children—I could understand it, but... Right after check-in I headed to the private bath I’d been looking forward to, but it was already fully booked and I couldn’t get in. The website said there should be 10 private baths, so I wondered why and asked at the front desk—only four private baths were operating at the time. It’s beyond inconsiderate that this wasn’t explained at check-in. Since they hand you a facility map anyway, it would be an easy fix to simply mark unavailable ones with an “X.” As for the meals, considering I stayed on a very reasonably priced opening Plan, I was fully satisfied with what was offered. In the end, I was able to use a spacious private bath several times thanks to good timing, which was great—but for those who couldn’t get in at all, satisfaction would likely drop significantly. Even when I went first thing in the morning, the bath mats were soaking wet, so they probably weren’t being replaced either. Overall my impression can be summed up as: operations weren’t running smoothly. The hot spring water quality was excellent though, so I hope this Accommodation becomes a great place going forward. Thank you for your hospitality.

Thank you very much.
This was our first stay, with four friends. All the food was very delicious (the sushi at dinner was especially good). We also used the large bath twice, and it was great. Unfortunately, there were no shower caps in either the bath area or the Room. When I tried to boil water for tea in the Room, I found dust on the kettle... Also, contacting the front desk wasn’t possible by phone; it may be a sign of the times, but it was inconvenient. Overall, we were satisfied.

Would stay again if improvements are made.
This was my first time staying here. The dinner restaurant was very nice, but the meal lacked volume and was mostly seafood. I personally enjoyed it, but I would have liked a bit more creativity—for example, offering late-night soba. The Onsen alternates between men and women, and one bath is much larger than the other, so the difference is quite noticeable. The Room is spacious, but the door uses a key lock and doesn’t close smoothly. The elevator is old and extremely slow. Even after the renovation, the exterior still looks dated, which was a bit disappointing. I was also slightly disappointed with how the front desk staff handled check-in. On the positive side, it was great that all-you-can-eat sushi was available, and that the private bath (which used to be paid) was free. However, since the sushi selection was limited, I would like to see more variety—for example, more local fish options. Overall, I felt this Hotel still has room for improvement.

The quality of the hot spring water is exceptional.
Thank you very much for taking such great care of us on our first stay after the renovation. As your slogan “Straight from the Source” suggests, the hot spring water quality was outstanding. There is no sauna, but the bath warmed me up even more—I couldn’t stop sweating. Compared with before, temperature control and management were clearly much improved. The landscaping inside and outside the building is also well maintained from early morning, which feels wonderful. The welcome drink service—almost like a mini all-inclusive—was much appreciated, and we enjoyed beer and more. If I may add one request, it would be even better with some snacks such as nuts. While buffet-style dining has become common these days, your properly served course meal had a great flow from start to finish. Being able to enjoy many different items in smaller portions was excellent. After being treated to staff sushi partway through, we could then order as many pieces as we liked from the day’s nigiri menu—this new approach was great as well. If I may add one more suggestion: since it was seafood-focused from beginning to end, a small meat dish in between might have provided a nice change of pace. Breakfast was beautifully arranged in small dishes and was delicious both visually and in taste—thank you. The rice cooked in a traditional kamado pot was fluffy, glossy, and wonderful. We’ve definitely marked this Accommodation as a favorite. I noticed some comments saying the building facilities are old, but everything is well cared for and there were no issues at all. We would love to visit again when the leaves begin to change color. Thank you very much again, and I wish your continued success.

Not suitable for wheelchair users.
This was our first stay. The food was very delicious, but… We had also made a Reservation for September, but we canceled it. (In September, it was planned for just the two of us as a couple.) I often travel about once every one to two months because I want to take my elderly mother, who has difficulty walking, to an Onsen. We chose this Accommodation hoping to try somewhere different. Before staying, I called to confirm whether wheelchair use would be okay. I was told that we could move from the parking area into the building barrier-free and get around inside without issues, so I felt reassured and made the Reservation. When making the Reservation, I also wrote in the comments that my mother is elderly and has difficulty walking and that we would like to borrow a wheelchair. When we arrived at the Accommodation, there was no wheelchair prepared. And the “barrier-free parking” made me wonder if it really was—more like a service entrance for vendors. On top of that, we were told that vendors would be coming in the next day so we could not leave our car parked there. We had to move it ourselves to another parking area. The wheelchair finally arrived, but there were steps everywhere and the corridor felt very unsafe—and on top of that, it seemed impossible to reach the large public bath by wheelchair!? I can only feel distrustful about why this wasn’t explained when I called in advance. I think fewer guests would end up disappointed like this if your website clearly stated that moving around by wheelchair is not possible—what do you think? And then at check-out: Until I asked whether barrier-free parking was available, no one on staff had checked. While I went to move my car from another lot, my mother had to wait at the drink corner. After moving the car, I went back through maze-like corridors (since it’s an unfamiliar place) and finally managed to get her into the car. No one from staff offered any help. When I asked if they meant for me to do everything alone, they replied yes. This stay left me with nothing but disappointment. It may be a very good Accommodation for guests without mobility issues—but not for us.

Japanese-modern style
We used the private bath “Kamo”; it was spacious, full of character, and highly recommended. We parked under a tree and the car ended up covered in bird droppings, but the front desk staff kindly helped us clean it (thank you). I wished there had been an electric fan on the wall in the private bath. There were many steps. Overall, we were very satisfied with the service, Onsen, meals, and other guests.

Looking forward to what’s next.
All staff were hardworking, and we appreciated their polite service. On the other hand, perhaps due to cost-cutting, the baths felt underwhelming for an Accommodation that promotes its Onsen. The main public bath was good, but the private bath had no cold water or fan, and I don’t think there were any amenities either. Especially considering it is a paid private bath, there is room for improvement (this time it was free, possibly as a service). Also, since it was advertised that the Room had an open-air bath, we stayed in the Shimogamo Garden Japanese-modern King Room, but this was disappointing. It was small and didn’t feel properly cleaned. In the end, we didn’t use it. I’ve shared some criticisms here, but I hope things improve going forward. The parking lot is spacious, but if you park in the area with trees on the right side of the entrance to the parking area, our car was heavily soiled by bird droppings by morning. It’s best to be careful about where you park.

Unlimited Onsen Enjoyment
I felt a bit uneasy because the Reviews were not very positive, but from check-in onward everyone was pleasant, the meals were delicious, and it was great to be able to use the Onsen privately as many times as I wanted. However, at checkout there was an error in the drink charges; although it was corrected, it left me feeling disappointed at the end. Overall, it was an excellent stay.

I was only slightly concerned about how rainy days are handled.
We stayed as a couple. The Accommodation had a calm atmosphere, and all the staff were friendly and welcoming, allowing us to relax and enjoy some quiet time. However, regarding the drop-off area on rainy days: At both check-in and check-out, the Shuttle Service vehicle remained parked in the drop-off area, so we were unable to pull up with our private car. It didn’t seem like it was actively picking up or dropping off passengers at that moment, so we would have appreciated it if space could be kept available for general vehicles as well. Carrying luggage back and forth to the parking lot in the rain was a bit tough. It is a wonderful Accommodation, so we hope to see improvements in operations going forward. Thank you very much.

It’s fairly good, but there are quite a few disappointing points as well…
I visited because the opening special made it very affordable. The website didn’t provide much detail, and there were no Reviews, so I arrived with no prior information. The building is a bit old, but it has been renovated and feels spacious and comfortable. The staff member who handled reception didn’t seem to be Japanese, but was very considerate, and check-in went smoothly. My Room was a suite. I thought it might be too large for one person, but it really was spacious. Even the standard Rooms are over 50 m², which would be more than enough. There are seven private baths that you can use freely if available. However, four of them were not in service, so I only managed to use one once early in the morning. The atmosphere was nice, but for some reason the bath mat was soaking wet. The two large public baths were both great. The water is a little hot. I heard the salt content is high, but it didn’t bother me. In particular, the large bath near the entrance has two open-air baths and a roof as well, so it was pleasant even in the rain. I would have liked a water dispenser and an electric fan in the changing area. Because I arrived late for dinner, only late time slots were available; however, that meant I could relax in the baths beforehand, which worked out well. The restaurant tables were spaced generously, so I could enjoy my meal without worrying about others nearby. The floor staff may still be getting used to things—the explanations of each dish were a bit unclear—but overall acceptable. They also made sushi to order; each piece was small so I could try several kinds and the toppings were delicious, though the rice felt slightly firm. They offered another drink right as mine was running low each time, which made for an enjoyable evening. Next to the restaurant there was a café space with coffee and herb water available, but it had been put away by evening. It would have been nice to have after bathing or after dinner. Breakfast included many small side dishes plus simmered golden eye snapper. The rice was cooked fresh in individual pots per group and tasted great. Checkout is at 11:00 am as well, so I could take my time. On top of having fewer private baths—some now requiring an extra fee—there was only one green tea bag in the Room. There were also no amenities provided in the Room. The open-air bath on the balcony couldn’t be used either. It felt like cost-cutting showed through in small ways throughout stayings which left me disappointed overall This time I stayed at a trial price; however at regular rates some services don’t feel fully worth what you pay

The Onsen was absolutely amazing!
Thank you very much for your thoughtful care, starting with the Shuttle Service during the typhoon and throughout our stay the next day. We were pleasantly surprised that our Room had an open-air bath, and we were also able to use the private open-air bath many times, so we could fully enjoy the Onsen to our heart’s content. After reading past Reviews, I was a little worried at first, but I could really feel that everyone is working hard to make improvements. Even though we had the unexpected situation of a typhoon, we were able to have a fulfilling trip. Thank you to all of the Accommodation staff.

Overall, it was a very satisfying stay. First, the meals were excellent—although we were on a Multiple Night Stay, both days offered original and substantial dishes. Our Room was upgraded, and it was clean, spacious, comfortable—more than sufficient. Considering the total number of Rooms in the Accommodation, the large public bath was quite spacious, and the private baths were unbelievably large for what you would normally expect. By chance, all private baths were free on the day we stayed, so we enjoyed them to the fullest. Free drinks in the lounge also included alcohol; there was a wide variety and a high-quality lineup that felt exceptionally well curated compared with other places. This time we stayed at a great value thanks to an opening anniversary offer. There were some minor unfamiliarity and small missteps, but we could really feel how hard the staff worked to make up for them, so they never became negatives at all. I expect things will continue to be upgraded day by day throughout the property, and I look forward to what’s ahead.

Even after the typhoon, I’m glad I was able to visit Minamiizu.
Thank you for staying with us at our special opening rate. After the typhoon, we weren’t sure what to expect, but we were able to stay at Ichizu. With delicious meals, a spotless property, and the staff’s thoughtful hospitality and wonderful smiles, it was a truly relaxing day. Next time, we would love to visit when the Kawazu cherry blossoms are in full bloom.

Since it has reopened under a new brand, I expected it to be clean, but it was even better than I imagined—I would definitely like to visit again. I’d also love to try the Gensen Ichizu hot spring in Iwate. The Room was spacious, the meals were luxurious, and the service was excellent. After I posted about it on my Facebook, a friend made a Reservation right away.

This Accommodation offers thoughtful hospitality and excellent hot spring baths.
The staff’s thoughtful hospitality made this a truly memorable stay. Everyone was incredibly kind and attentive. The next day happened to be when a typhoon hit directly, yet even then, someone kindly said, “We have umbrellas if you need one, even for a short walk,” and after checkout they offered to escort us to the nearby parking lot. We genuinely felt well cared for. The hot spring was exactly as hoped—wonderful water that left our skin silky smooth. The open-air bath also had a great atmosphere, and we’d love to enjoy it even more on a clear day. Dinner was delicious, and the selection of sake was excellent. As for breakfast, although we’ve stayed at many Accommodations, this was the most surprising so far: in addition to a beautifully packed tiered box filled with small dishes, piping-hot simmered golden eye snapper was served in a lovely clay pot. Overall, it felt like this Accommodation aims to deliver “surprise” through everything—the stay itself, the baths, and the meals. It left a lasting impression. Although Minami-Izu and Shimoda feel a bit far away, we would definitely like to return to an Accommodation like this. Since your renewal reopening in June has coincided with less-than-ideal weather conditions, I imagine it hasn’t been easy. Your service is already more than wonderful—please don’t overdo it, and take good care of yourselves. Thank you very much. We will visit again.

We look forward to seeing improvements in the future.
Due to a typhoon making it impossible for us to return home, we had to extend our stay at short notice, and we truly appreciate how warmly and flexibly everyone accommodated us. There was a wide variety of Onsen options, including a private open-air bath, and although the bad weather resulted in an unplanned Multiple Night Stay, we were able to relax comfortably inside the Accommodation. (There were quite a few fallen leaves floating in the open-air bath and a few insects in the changing area, but given the weather and location, I felt it was understandable.) However, our first impression was unfortunately very poor because our key was handed over incorrectly at check-in. It seems that guests arriving after us were given the same Room key, and they entered while we were in the Room. As I happened to be changing clothes at the time, it was extremely awkward. Having worked in hospitality myself, I was taught that double check-ins are serious incidents that compromise guest safety and security; even if you have only recently reopened after renovation, your operations appear to require urgent improvement. While each staff member provided their own style of hospitality with good intentions, it also felt as though they were doing their best by imitating what they had seen at other Hotels—suggesting that foundational training may not yet be fully established. We stayed at a very reasonable rate despite it being a weekend; however, it did not feel like quality worth paying 30–40 thousand yen for. We hope to see improvements in service and operations going forward.

The opening special rate is fine.
I stayed here because the opening special made it a good deal, and I had a great experience at your affiliated Accommodation in Nasu. I was picked up from the station on the first shuttle and arrived at the Accommodation, but there was no one there and it took quite some time to find the entrance. When I finally reached the lobby, it was crowded. I was asked my name and told to wait. Only two staff members were handling check-in, while other employees did not appear to be doing anything in particular, yet they did not come to assist at the counter. I wondered if check-in could be handled in the lobby as well. When I asked, “Is it going to take much longer?” they mistook me for another guest (“Are you Mr./Ms. XX?”). When we finally began check-in, we were told (after 3:00 p.m.) that dinner was only available from 8:00 p.m. At other Accommodations in this price range, there are light snacks or small bites available in the lobby or lounge for guests with late dinner times, so I asked if anything like that was available. I was told no and handed a single manju bun instead. We were given only a simple map to find our Room ourselves; it was hard to understand, and I felt someone should have guided us. There were also no welcome sweets in the Room, so we ended up hungry. It might be better to allow guests to choose their dinner time at Reservation or prepare something for those assigned a late seating. We were told that 3 of the 7 private baths were unavailable; on the other hand, some baths that are normally paid could be used free of charge. However, when we went at our time slot, parts of the changing-room floor were wet. If these become paid again later, will basic cleaning be done between uses? The bath in our Room was far too hot and we could not adjust water volume properly; unfortunately we had to add a large amount of cold water. In the public bath area there wasn’t an obvious chlorine smell, but when I asked staff they said a small amount of chlorine is used and water is also added. This was disappointing given both your name “Gensen Ichizu” and your website wording such as “additive-free” and “unaltered.” Breakfast was delicious. For dinner, serving sashimi with hot pot cooked on heated stones is an interesting idea—and since guests cook everything themselves without individual pots or grills being prepared per table, it certainly reduces kitchen work as well. The senior staff member’s explanations of dishes were unclear; for example they insisted horse mackerel (served whole) was striped jack (shima-aji), and there were other ingredients they didn’t recognize until they went back to ask the kitchen staff—being able to say proactively “Let me confirm” would help greatly. When bringing down a large sashimi platter from behind the counter using unstable serving chopsticks/utensils, they struggled and then asked me “Will you use this?”—I answered yes because otherwise it seemed unsafe/awkward as presented. Everyone looked very busy; whenever we tried to ask for something we often heard “Please wait.” After finishing our meal we were asked “Were you satisfied?” but all I could do was give a vague “Yes.” Once prices return to normal levels, with this service and overall content/quality I would likely look for another Accommodation instead.

Shimogamo Onsen, natural hot spring source, serenity, and an amazing bamboo grove!!!
I drank too much delicious local seafood and sake. The large public bath and the various free private baths each had a different atmosphere, and I really enjoyed them. It looks like one will be opening in Shizukuishi as well, so I’d definitely like to visit. The staff were kind and attentive, which was very relaxing.

The budget Plan is acceptable, but I wouldn’t return at the regular rate.
Many of the staff were foreign, and communication did not go smoothly, so there were several times when we felt we had to be considerate. To be honest, the welcome drink was not very good. After the serving time ends, you can still have coffee and other drinks in the same area, but you cannot take them back to your Room. While we were using the space, we could hear staff chatting among themselves, which made it far from relaxing and very unpleasant. As for the private baths, several were unavailable, and I would have liked to be informed before making a Reservation. This time we were able to use all private baths free of charge, but even in areas that are normally free to use—such as some private baths and the public bath—we noticed cobwebs. In addition, the mat in the private bath changing area was soaked with water and completely wet, and I hesitated even to step on it. It was nowhere near a comfortable condition for use, and I was very concerned about hygiene. Regarding the Room as well, it did not feel thoroughly cleaned. Also, on the official website, Room photos have remained “image photos” for a long time, making it difficult to understand what the actual rooms look like before making a Reservation. Since this was a very low-priced Plan, I can accept some of these issues considering the price; however, if paying regular rates, I would not return. On a positive note, the food was delicious. However, dinner mainly focuses on an all-you-can-eat sushi offering (sushi buffet), so guests who do not like sushi may feel there are limited options.

We had a relaxing stay.
I stayed here about two weeks after the opening. There were a few things that concerned me, such as the outdoor bath temperature not being consistent and one private bath still being adjusted, but since it had just opened, I’m looking forward to improvements. I have two requests. First, it might be better to allow time-slot Reservations for the private baths. Second, it would be perfect if the welcome drink included alcohol (draft beer or sparkling wine). The Room was spacious enough, and the meals were excellent—I was completely satisfied. The warm words from the female staff member at the front desk when I checked out really touched me. I’m glad I stayed here and will definitely return.

A Mysterious Onsen Accommodation
As soon as I stepped into the Accommodation, a mysterious atmosphere unfolded. This time, our Room was located at the very back and was spacious, with a private open-air bath. The Simmons mattress was incredibly comfortable. Since the private open-air bath uses 100% natural hot spring water directly from the source, we added water to lower the temperature before using it. We were also lucky to use the paid private open-air bath for free this time. It had a larger rock bath and a smaller ceramic tub, so we enjoyed both. The meals were excellent. Dinner included luxurious sashimi and all-you-can-eat sushi. Breakfast offered a wide variety of dishes, and the complimentary chicken soboro and egg yolk served as rice toppings were outstanding. The only disappointments were that the skincare set was available only in the large public bath area, and that even though we checked in early, dinner didn’t start until 8:00 PM. It wasn’t a perfect Accommodation, but it left an impression on us how hard all of the staff worked with smiles. Thank you for letting us stay at such an affordable rate during your opening sale. We had a fulfilling time, and it was well worth coming all the way to Minami-Izu.

It was a disappointing stay.
I previously stayed here back when it was “Nanraku,” and it was a very satisfying experience, so I decided to return after the renovation since a reasonably priced Plan was available. However, in conclusion, this stay felt quite disappointing compared with before. This time I requested the 3:00 PM Shuttle Service from Izukyu-Shimoda Station and arrived shortly after 3:00 PM, but there was a long line at the check-in counter and we had to wait quite a while. When we finally checked in, we were told that dinner was only available at 8:00 PM. I was surprised by this situation despite arriving in the 3:00 PM hour. The property had been nicely renovated, but it was disappointing that features like the old kamado stove were gone and the charming atmosphere of a traditional Japanese Ryokan had faded. The guest room had also been somewhat renovated, but the jar-style open-air bath that used to be available has been discontinued and is now just an object/display. The ducks that were kept as mascots were also gone. Because I knew how it used to be, this also felt like a downgrade. On the other hand, the large public bath has improved compared with before, and I am satisfied with the Onsen itself. However, many of the private baths that used to be free are now half paid-only, and many baths were not operating. Since I was looking forward to enjoying them, this was very disappointing. The most disappointing part was the dining service. Dinner is now served in a dining-hall style setting; unlike before there are no partitions between tables, so there is no sense of privacy. Even after being seated no one came to take our drink order, and there were extremely long gaps between dishes being served. Although there seemed to be fewer dishes than before, it still took about an hour and a half to finish dinner. We also waited a long time for sushi even after ordering additional pieces—overall it felt like repeatedly being “kept waiting” and “left unattended.” Breakfast wasn’t as bad as dinner, but there was even a moment when miso soup didn’t arrive until we asked for it ourselves, leaving me dissatisfied with the service. The Onsen itself is wonderful and the large public bath has improved as well, which makes poor hospitality and inefficient dining operations feel especially wasteful. Because my previous stay at “Nanraku” was excellent, these changes were truly disappointing this time around. I hope things will improve going forward.

I stayed at a lower rate than usual with the grand opening commemorative Plan, but I was not satisfied. I checked in at 3:00 PM, but the only dinner time options were 5:30 PM, 8:00 PM, or 8:30 PM. I think it would be better to choose the 5:30 PM Plan or the 8:00 PM Plan from the start. I felt this Hotel focuses more on quantity than quality.
