Hoshino Resorts Risonare Kohamajima

This was my first stay on Kohama Island, and it was extremely comfortable.I believe this was thanks to the staff’s local knowledge and attentive service.The Room was clean and had a relaxing atmosphere. For both breakfast and dinner, I was able to enjoy the buffet without waiting.The Shuttle Service to the beach and back to the Room was smooth and stress-free, with outstanding hospitality!The pool right next to the beach is fantastic!This is a Hotel I would definitely like to stay at again when I visit Kohama Island!

We stayed here as a family during our children’s summer vacation. It was our first time visiting one of Okinawa’s remote islands, and the warm hospitality from all the staff made us feel truly glad we made the trip. The sun is strong, but the temperature was around 31°C, and it feels pleasantly cool at night. You can book optional activities such as snorkeling, stargazing walks, a sunset cart ride, and mangrove exploration—unique nature experiences on Kohama Island that made our kids very happy. The buffet has been renewed and was delicious; the “umukuji tempura” was especially popular with our children. We would love to come back again to relax and enjoy another warm, unhurried stay.
