Relax in your Room
I stayed not for sightseeing, but simply to unwind in the Room. The spacious, white-toned Room felt calm and relaxing; even with the lights dimmed for a greyish ambiance, it was still bright enough. I brought my Kindle and enjoyed reading with tea at a leisurely pace. It never felt cramped, there was nothing overly flashy or unnecessary, and nothing was lacking. Even down to each amenity, the concept feels thoroughly consistent. The large bath was also wonderful—overall, it was perfect for staying in the Room and truly relaxing. There was an issue with the hair dryer, but when I requested a replacement late at night, they responded immediately, which I really appreciated. The Jurlique basic skincare set is a nice touch for women. The loungewear is comfortable as well, and I felt you could pack extremely light without any trouble. Breakfast (Western-style) remains excellent as always, and I’m grateful it can be served in the Room. There are many Accommodations out there, but I’ll return when I want to get away from everyday noise and take things slow. Overall, I was extremely satisfied. Next time, I’m planning a Multiple Night Stay of doing absolutely nothing but relaxing indoors.

I had a relaxing and comfortable stay.
Thanks to the Diamond member benefit allowing us to stay until 1:00 PM, we were able to relax and take our time. The amenities and drinks were well stocked, and everything was comfortable with no inconvenience. The bath had strong water pressure and filled up quickly, which was a nice plus since there was no stress from waiting. Breakfast was delivered to our Room, so we could enjoy it slowly without worrying about others. However, it tended to cool down a bit over time, so better heat retention would make it even nicer. Also, the table in the Room was a little low, making it slightly difficult to eat comfortably. Those were the only minor points—overall, it offered great value for money and we were very satisfied with our stay. We would definitely like to use it again.

A highly stylish yet relaxing accommodation.
It was a calm and comfortable stay. The design incorporated traditional Japanese elements abundantly yet without being overbearing, offering a simple and pleasant aesthetic. Although I was initially surprised by the absence of a TV, the high-quality speakers allowed me to enjoy an extraordinary experience. I was dissatisfied with the price and breakfast, but I would like to visit this accommodation again if improvements are made.

It was a wonderful stay.
I stayed for two nights again this time. As always, I was very satisfied with the breakfast and the excellent service from everyone. I was also thrilled to purchase Matohu's sandals before leaving, which made my trip even more delightful! Thank you so much!

Stylish.
Stylish and trendy! However, it doesn't feel like staying in Kyoto. The balcony faces a residential area, so the roller blinds cannot be opened, which creates a sense of confinement. The breakfast was delicious. Customer service was satisfactory with no particular issues. Recommended for those who don't mind not experiencing the essence of Kyoto.

It is a very nice Hotel.
This was my second stay with my mother for New Year's. I forgot that there was no TV. Because of that, I feel like I slept more than usual. (It's a shame I couldn't watch the New Year's Eve program.) It would have been even better if there was a small TV available for rent. Other than that, the service was very good and satisfying. The staff at the Hotel were always smiling, which was very impressive. No matter what we asked for, they smiled! Wonderful! And above all, the breakfast here is delicious! It's almost like we stayed for that reason, and the New Year's breakfast was osechi! Everything was delicious, and we almost finished it all! On the 2nd, it was Western-style osechi. The osechi dishes also came with homemade pot-au-feu and quiche, and we were full! Even my mother and I, who are picky about taste, were delighted, saying, "It's delicious! I can't eat anymore!" The bar also had a nice atmosphere, and the cocktails were delicious, making it a relaxing time. Thank you for a wonderful New Year's!
