    The meals were somewhat disappointing.

    I had the dinner that included nodoguro. The main nodoguro was a bone-in fish about 10 cm long and quite thin. Since I’m not good with bone-in fish, I could hardly eat it. If it’s the main dish, I would have liked a larger fish. Also, there was no dessert, which was disappointing. The bathroom was a unit bath, but the tub was low so I couldn’t soak and relax properly. The water stopper was also difficult to use.

    It was a quiet Room.

    The service was good, with staff checking in at appropriate intervals. The bath water was not hot enough, and it took too long to fill the tub. The air purifier’s filter was dirty and the indicator light was flashing. The filter had not been cleaned. The Room was a suite, so it was spacious, quiet, and comfortable. For the restaurant, requiring a Reservation three days in advance felt a bit inconvenient.

    Room with a small window

    I booked the "Superior Twin 27㎡" with high expectations as it was categorized as a Resort Hotel. However, the room had only one small window (as shown in the photos on the website). While it does not violate building regulations, a Resort Hotel should ideally have windows covering at least 1/8 of the floor area, preferably 1/5. It would be helpful to include descriptions such as "rooms with small windows that are dim and lack scenic views." The vending machines were also inconvenient as they did not accept new bills.

    It was a quiet and comfortable hotel. The renovation made it feel modern and not outdated. The service was excellent. Dinner portions were small, but we enjoyed delicious Shimane specialties like blackthroat seaperch and clam soup. The restaurant was cozy with a nice view of the garden. I would love to stay here again if I have the chance. Thank you very much!

    Perfect for sightseeing in Izumo by car.

    We were guided by very kind staff. Check-in was smooth, and they even went outside to carefully guide us to the parking lot. There are Room types with and without a bath available. (I chose the type without a bath.)

    We enjoyed a delicious meal.

    It was a pity that there was no large public bath, but the dinner was delicious and the breakfast, although a buffet, was also tasty. Since we were two couples, we were able to have a second party after dinner in the spacious Room around the table. Many of the staff had smiles, and we had a pleasant stay.

    Is this okay?

    I did not realize I had reserved a smoking room and changed to a non-smoking room at check-in. The plan included breakfast and dinner, which were very delicious and satisfying. However, there were many points of insufficient cleaning in the room, with mold on the pillow covers, bathroom walls, and floor. The pillow covers were replaced, but honestly, the hygiene environment was not very reassuring.
