    A scenic Hotel by the sea

    My first impression was that it is a scenic Hotel by the sea, about 10 minutes from Ajigasawa Station in Aomori Prefecture by Shuttle Service bus. The lounge in the free space offers complimentary drinks from 3:00 p.m., and I could enjoy as much cold beer as I liked, which became a real pleasure after the bath. Also, from around 5:00 p.m. until after sunset past 6:00 p.m., I went out to the courtyard and was deeply moved by the unbelievably beautiful sunset. It was an experience so powerful that it blew away all my worries. When I’m feeling lost or having a hard time again, I’d like to stay at this Hotel. I’m truly grateful for such an uplifting Hotel.

    It was wonderful!

    The meals were delicious, and the Onsen had excellent water quality that left my skin feeling silky smooth. The hospitality in the lounge was wonderful as well. I would definitely like to stay again.

    Perfect for Three Generations

    On our first trip to Aomori, we stayed the night before the Nebuta Festival for the first time, and everything—the meals, drinks, service, and Onsen—was excellent. Our three-generation family was very satisfied when we left. If I had to ask for one thing, a massage chair would make it even better. We were completely satisfied and truly enjoyed Aomori. Thank you very much.

    The Onsen is wonderful.

    Although the building is old, it is well maintained, and the staff’s hard work was evident in many ways, making our stay very comfortable. The Onsen—especially the open-air bath with a panoramic ocean view—was outstanding. The meals were varied and enjoyable as well. I would like to stay here again when traveling to this area.

    The staff’s attentiveness was outstanding.

    My wife, my mother-in-law, and I stayed here. During the dinner buffet, my mother-in-law started feeling unwell and couldn’t go to the dining area. When the staff heard about it, they kindly told us to pack whatever she liked into a takeaway box so she could eat in our Room—thank you very much. She was truly touched to be able to eat in the Room. The view was great, the sunset was amazing, and the bath was wonderful—everything was excellent. We will come again.

    Enjoyed!

    After check-in, after a bath, or after using the private bath, you can enjoy unlimited alcohol while listening to Tsugaru Shamisen with our all-inclusive service! Dinner was delicious, paired with all-you-can-drink options. The Onsen, featuring seawater baths, was warm and relaxing—truly an exceptional experience!

    Tsugaru Shamisen

    There was a Tsugaru Shamisen show, and I enjoyed the nostalgic atmosphere. Although I sometimes couldn't understand the Tsugaru dialect, it added to the charm. The room was renovated and very clean. The bath was also great. There were original items like cider, but unfortunately, I couldn't try them all. While waiting for the shuttle service at the station, I had some extra time but luckily came across a dance performance by elementary, junior high, and high school students in Ajigasawa. I had a wonderful time!

    Would like more variety in the buffet. The service was excellent. The bath facilities are overall old and need more cleaning. Would prefer a USB port directly in the Room. Disposable slippers would be better. The all-you-can-drink welcome drinks were very good.

    The prior phone support was disappointing.

    The night before my stay, I called to inquire about the Goshogawara Nebuta, but the response was surprisingly unkind and not what I would expect from a hotel, making me seriously consider canceling. However, after arrival, the staff were kind and helpful, so that part was disappointing! I believe better training on phone etiquette for unseen guests would be beneficial.

    I had a relaxing time.

    The area is secluded, but everything you need is available within the Hotel, allowing you to fully enjoy your stay. Not only were dinner and breakfast delightful, but the drinks and snacks in the lounge were also delicious.

    Missing out on drinking was a loss.

    For couples who don't drink alcohol, it might be enjoyable for others, but it was unnecessary for us. It would have been nice if there was a "non-drinker" sign on the table and a discount offered.

    It was disappointing compared to expectations.

    The Hotel is located on a hill overlooking the Sea of Japan. We stayed in Aomori for three nights, and the price was at the highest level. However, the Facility, service, and creativity did not match up to it, which was disappointing. For example, while meals were all-you-can-drink style, it was unnecessary for us as we do not drink alcohol. Perhaps offering more fulfilling meals with alcohol charged separately would be better? Additionally, our Room combined two rooms into one with beds placed inside; however, both rooms felt incomplete. Several areas stood out as needing improvement here and there.

    Service Fee...

    It was a self-service Ryokan. Even though it was all-inclusive, there was no water in the Room, so you had to bring a container and go to the first floor to fill it. Morning coffee was only available from 8 AM, so you had to wait until then. Despite being right in front of the sea, the windows couldn't be opened, so I couldn't hear the sound of the waves, which was disappointing.
