    Highly satisfied

    I stayed here after attending a live concert. This was an Accommodation I had been very interested in. I was able to check in before the concert, relax, then head out and go straight to the panoramic large public bath as soon as I returned.\nThe Room was clean, the amenities were well stocked, and the staff were kind and courteous. Breakfast was also delicious.\nAll I can say is that I was extremely satisfied. Thank you very much.\nI would love to stay again.

    This is definitely the place.

    I’m a repeat guest and stay here a few times a year. This time as well, I used the breakfast buffet as before, but I hope it will be improved. However, during check-in and again at check-out, your staff offered warm words about my husband’s birthday, and there was also a thoughtful gesture waiting in our Room. That kind of care is what I love most about Ren. For dinner during our stay, we ate at the restaurant for day-use guests for the first time in a while, and it was delicious as always. We even had dessert and were very satisfied. The bath was also relaxing and soothing. One thing I forgot to mention to the front desk: only the TV remote’s power button doesn’t respond (crying). Thank you in advance.

    We had a comfortable stay.

    As a local resident of Kobe, this was my first time staying overnight. The spacious room, barrier-free design with soft flooring, Japanese-Western style layout, two sinks, and well-stocked amenities were all excellent. The view of Kobe Port from the large public bath on the 10th floor was wonderful, and every item at the buffet-style breakfast was delicious. I had a truly lovely stay.

    A Hotel You'll Enjoy Every Time You Visit

    This is my favorite Hotel, and I have stayed here many times. This time, I accidentally forgot to make a request in advance, but the staff remembered the item I had asked to borrow before and had it properly prepared at check-in. I was truly happy with their thoughtfulness in remembering me, and I was deeply impressed by the warm hospitality of everyone at the Hotel. No matter how many times I visit, I can always relax and feel at ease—this is a very special Hotel for me. I would love to stay here again in the future. Thank you as always.

    A Thank-You Gift for Mothers

    This time, I made a Reservation as a gift for my mother and relatives who always come to help. I had stayed here before and loved the food, so I booked it again as a present. As part of the La Suite group, the atmosphere and meals are excellent, and I thought this Accommodation would suit older guests even better than La Suite. They were very happy with both the bath and the Room, and told me they could relax because breakfast was wonderful. However, they didn’t mention dinner at all, which made me wonder why. When I checked the Plan details, I realized I had booked a dinner Plan that required them to move to an off-site venue rather than dining at the Hotel. In other words, I ended up sending three elderly guests to an all-you-can-eat pizza-style place. Since I had made the Reservation specifically so they could enjoy dinner at the Hotel, it was a big mistake. I don’t even remember the restaurant name—I booked it assuming it meant dinner at the Hotel—so it turned into a gift full of regret on my part.

    This is a great Onsen.

    Close to the Nada sake breweries—great, delicious sake! Sashimi, simmered dishes, hot pot, and roast beef Seasonal mixed rice and desserts—all you can eat. In the morning: Lupin’s bread, tasty honey, and salad All you can eat. The Onsen left my skin silky smooth, and the free-flowing natural hot spring water was amazing. We’ll be back again. Thank you.

    Celebrate with lotus whenever there’s a family occasion.

    The Onsen water quality is my absolute favorite. There are various temperatures, and I especially appreciate the lukewarm options since that’s what I like. After bathing, my circulation improves so much that I keep sweating until the next day, and even my lower back pain eases for a while—I truly love it. My favorite thing about the Room is the seaside view. I most of all cherish the healing time of simply gazing at it without thinking about anything. And as for the dinner buffet, it’s honestly by far the best No. 1 among all the buffets I’ve tried around Japan—I’m genuinely overwhelmed with gratitude. Everyone is kind, and I was finally able to meet at the front desk someone I’d been emailing with for five years—I almost cried. I’ll be back. Thank you for the happiness. P.S. As always, everything was beautifully kept—especially how spotless and clean the restrooms are.

    It was a wonderful stay, perfect for an anniversary trip.

    We stayed for one night and two days to celebrate an anniversary. We were looking for Accommodation in Kobe where we could enjoy both a buffet and an Onsen, so we chose this property and made a Reservation for a Seaside Deluxe Room without specifying the view. They assigned us a west-facing Room, and the view was wonderful—we could see Kobe Port Tower, the Kobe Maritime Museum, and even the illuminated luxury cruise ships. It made our time in the Room feel even more special. Since it was our anniversary, they also prepared fresh roses in the Room, which was a lovely and stylish touch. We also enjoyed the Onsen at the guest-only panoramic public bath while relaxing with an ocean view. I especially appreciated that towels were provided at the entrance back to the changing area—it was very convenient. The dinner buffet offered a wide variety of dishes such as roast beef, sukiyaki, sushi, and many small side dishes. Everything was delicious. At breakfast, we loved the bread from “Le Pan Kobe Kitano,” so after checkout we stopped by their shop to buy some. The Onsen, meals, views, and thoughtful service all exceeded our expectations and made this anniversary trip a great memory. This is Accommodation we would love to stay at again.

    The Room was spacious and comfortable.

    I stayed here with colleagues on a business trip. The Room was very spacious and comfortable. We were able to use both the Onsen on the upper floors and the Onsen Facility that is also available for day use. We used the upper-floor Onsen at night and the day-use Onsen the next morning. I was happy that both had ReFa hair dryers and hair irons. The only downside was that convenience stores are a bit far away (about a 20–30 minute walk). The parking area was also large, with convenient surface-level parking, which made our stay very comfortable.

    Overall, it was excellent. Unfortunately, the drainage in the washing area of the panoramic large public bath was clogged and wastewater overflowed. Also, the shower water pressure was weak. The panoramic view of Kobe’s night scenery made this a worthwhile stay. I would like to stay again if I have the opportunity.

    We stayed here as a family.

    This was our second stay as a family and our sixth visit overall, and we stayed to celebrate our daughter’s birthday. We were able to relax and enjoy the large public bath, stone sauna, live buffet, and lounge. The food was also very delicious. A couple of things were disappointing: the room cleaning was not thorough, and we were not informed that staff would come to lay out the futons. However, overall we were satisfied and had a great stay. We would like to stay again.

    I always enjoy both the Onsen and the meals. This time as well, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Today, the wristwatch I left behind arrived by courier. Thank you very much for carefully packing and sending the item I accidentally forgot. I would love to visit again as soon as I have time.

    It’s my favorite.

    We’ve stayed here during our grandchildren’s summer vacation for the past few years.\n\nMy husband and I come by train and shuttle bus to enjoy the Onsen and meals, while our daughter’s family drives and we meet up at the Hotel. The pool we always look forward to costs extra, but this year there was a great-value set plan that included the night pool, so the older kids enjoyed that as well. The next day we all went to the Onsen together again, and even though we were already full from the breakfast buffet, we still enjoyed oden and fluffy shaved ice as usual before heading home.\n\nWe think we’ll still be able to coordinate schedules for our three grandchildren for another year or so, so we’d love to visit again. The check-out procedure at the Onsen Facility on the day after staying had changed from last year, but both the Hotel and Onsen Facility offer delicious food and consistently reliable, reassuring service.

    This was my fourth s...

    This was my fourth stay, and as expected I was able to spend my time without any inconvenience. Thank you. I did lose an item, but the responses I received—“Where did you drop it?” and “We won’t know about today’s lost items until tonight”—did not feel considerate toward a guest who had lost something important. If the staff had responded with a bit more empathy, I might have been able to enjoy my stay more comfortably. I stayed for two nights, and since there are places nearby where you can eat, I think it would have been fine to go without meals on the second night. The bath is excellent as a Hotel Facility, but there were young guests talking loudly the whole time and someone splashing around in the cold bath as if swimming, so I couldn’t get into the same tub. The cleaning staff also walked by without saying anything. It would have helped if they had at least said something like, “There are other guests here as well.” The view from the balcony was amazing both during the day and at night. I will use this Accommodation again.

    Every stay is comfortable.

    This was our first time staying in a suite, and we relaxed in the semi-open-air Onsen bath. The meals were delicious every time and truly wonderful. At the neighboring day-use Onsen, we fully enjoyed the massages, hot stone sauna, pool, and open-air bath. We had a fun summer vacation as a family. Thank you very much.

    It was even better than I imagined.

    I thought it was an Onsen Facility in the La Suite group, and the service was truly pleasant. The Onsen also felt very beneficial, so I went in many times. It’s easy to see why the live buffet has such a great reputation. The dishes felt wonderfully homemade, and I ended up taking far too much—something I slightly regret. Next time, I should bring smaller portions to the table and enjoy my time more elegantly. Since carts are provided, piling on as much as possible is a bit of a trap. Guests were directed to the second parking lot, but if the first parking lot had been available, it would have been more convenient for going to Lapin and the restaurant. This is a Hotel I’d love to visit again.

    I enjoy the dinner b...

    I enjoy the dinner buffet every time, with its wide variety of ingredients and great taste. This time, the roast beef in particular was excellent—I couldn’t help comparing it to the disappointing roast beef at a Hotel I stayed at recently. The Onsen tends to be crowded in the evening, and the changing area gets busy, which makes it hard to fully relax. Still, I’m drawn back by the relaxing guest rooms and the dinner buffet, and visiting once or twice a year has become my routine. I’m looking forward to my next stay.

    Kobe Onsen Accommodation

    This time, we took a nearby Onsen trip. It was an Onsen Accommodation near a spot where Kobe’s harbor fireworks go off right in front of you, and the exterior looked quite nice. The open-air bath on the first floor isn’t large, but the Onsen itself was good. The indoor bath was also nice, and there is both a sauna and a steam sauna. The Room was spacious as well; this time we chose a west-facing Room. Right in front of us were Kobe Tower and the Oriental Hotel, and at night the view was amazing. However, it was disappointing that the in-room refrigerator was like the kind often found in love hotels, with no space to chill drinks you bring yourself. We also went looking forward to the guest-side panoramic open-air bath, but it felt very disappointing. We had even higher expectations than for the first-floor bath, so it was especially disappointing. Meals were buffet style and advertised as having a live kitchen, but there wasn’t much variety and it didn’t feel “live” at all. Overall, considering how expensive it was, it felt disappointing.

    Second Stay

    I was very satisfied to be able to enjoy the free-flowing natural hot spring water in my Room as well. However, this time the breakfast buffet was not as tasty as last time. The Milanese-style cutlet at the Italian dinner was disappointingly tough, like a straw sandal. It was also a shame that I couldn’t go to the hot stone sauna more often even though it was free to use. The Italian food was just average. The free-flowing natural Onsen was amazing! The ocean view from the Room is fantastic.

    The meals were more disappointing than I expected.

    This was my first stay. I had read reviews praising the live kitchen and the food, so I was looking forward to it, but the live kitchen offered only sushi, and everything else was a standard buffet like you find at any Hotel. Breakfast was the same—only pre-made egg dishes—so I was disappointed. The pool is also expensive for guests, and when I tried to use it the next morning, I was told an additional fee was required. I was disappointed.

    As always, it was excellent.

    I stay here once or twice every year, and it is always a truly pleasant experience. The buffet meals are all delicious—there’s nothing that feels mediocre—and the baths are spacious and comfortable. Some of the bath facilities (such as the showers) feel a bit dated, but there are no issues with using them, and having towels freely available made my stay very comfortable. I would definitely like to visit again.

    An Accommodation You’ll Want to Visit Again

    For us as a couple living in the Hanshin area, staying one night in Kobe feels like a bit of a luxury. Because we mentioned it was an anniversary trip when making the Reservation, the Hotel kindly arranged a Room on the Harborland side for us, and we truly had a wonderful time. As a travel-loving couple, this has become one of the Accommodations we want to visit again. The Room, meals, and bath were all excellent—an outstanding Hotel.

    Plenty of time to relax.

    Once again, I was able to relax and unwind with the day-use Onsen before and after check-in. This time, I chose a new Plan: the pizza plan at S Kobe. Starting at 6:00 PM, the evening sun was still quite strong, so I think it might have been even more enjoyable if we had started at 7:00 PM. Since it included an all-you-can-drink option, I was able to enjoy plenty of alcoholic beverages. Breakfast is Japanese cuisine at Ren, so having a different genre was a nice change. At Suiren on the 3rd floor, I could leisurely enjoy lunch and even dessert on the way home. Relaxing in the sunken-floor seating area was wonderful. It was also my first time having someone explain everything so thoroughly during the InBody measurement—thank you for that. However, there were a few differences from previous visits: The day-use Onsen samue felt damp, which was a negative point. The white socks in the Room had also lost their stretch and were difficult to put on—unfortunately disappointing. In addition, during check-in and check-out, some of the Hotel staff’s responses felt slightly polite but discourteous. If it were only me, I wouldn’t post this; however, my friend next to me said they felt the same way as well, so I’m writing this here in hopes of improvement. I would like to visit again.

    The meals and the bath were both excellent.

    I stayed in the Harbor Suite, and the free-flowing natural hot spring bath in the Room was a real luxury. The open-air Onsen bath on the first floor was also spacious and relaxing, and I thoroughly enjoyed the stone sauna and lava sauna as well. The meals were just as described in the Reviews—there was a great variety, and everything was delicious. I especially loved the roast beef! Next time, I’d like to treat my parents to a stay here.

    I’d definitely stay here again when I visit Kobe!

    This was my first trip to Kobe in 30 years. I was attending a live show at GLION Arena, so I chose this Hotel because it was just a short walk away. I love Onsen, so I enjoyed it many times during my stay. The guest-only Onsen area was quiet and very comfortable. The view was amazing—it almost felt like being in Singapore. The Room was spacious and spotless, and the bed was excellent. I woke up early and felt so happy sipping Kobe tea on the balcony while looking out at the sea. There were plenty of dining options, with a great variety of drinks as well—everything was very satisfying. Throughout my stay, the gentleman at the front desk provided truly outstanding service. I also used the shuttle bus from Sannomiya Mint Bus Terminal and reached the Hotel without getting lost. Above all, this is a Facility that is very considerate toward elderly guests: there are benches inside the elevators, chairs in the elevator hallways, and even dining carts that are thoughtfully designed. I also enjoyed nearby attractions like átoa and Lupin—the location is fantastic. I will definitely stay here again!

    It was my first stay...

    It was my first stay in a while. The rolled omelet at breakfast was so delicious that I went back for more several times. It was great to be able to watch the staff cook it right in front of us! However, I was concerned that it took a long time to warm the bread—perhaps the thermostat wasn’t working properly. I understand there may be various issues, but I would appreciate it if breakfast could start a little earlier.

    A Long-Awaited Stay

    It was our first stay in a while, traveling with our grandchild, but it was unpleasant that the staff at check-in did not understand the Diamond benefits. The application of the ¥2,000 in-house credit was unclear until we asked at check-out, and we were unhappy that it had been deducted without explanation. We reserved two Rooms, but in our Room the wooden flooring just inside the entrance felt soft and unstable, which was uncomfortable. Breakfast and dinner were better than before in both quality and taste. Our grandchild enjoyed the pool and said they want to go again, but we are still unsure about visiting next time.

    Stay at Kobe Minato Onsen Ren~

    It was a very down-to-earth Accommodation. From the time of our Reservation, they kindly changed us to a Room with a beautiful night view, and we were able to enjoy Kobe’s night scenery again after a long time. The bath happened to be crowded because my bathing time overlapped with a tour group, which was disappointing. I heard the men’s bath was almost empty. We made a Reservation for the conger eel course, and I was surprised by how generous the portions were. We also ordered two sets of sake tasting, and when it arrived, we were surprised again at how much there was! Since we couldn’t possibly drink it all, we asked to return one set, and they gladly accommodated us. Unlike Kyoto, both the food and drinks came in very large portions, so we couldn’t finish everything and felt sorry about that. The sake prices were also inexpensive! The staff were efficient and pleasant as well. Thank you very much for taking care of us. The room key wasn’t a card type but a wristband style (my first time), which was easy to use and especially helpful for seniors like us.
