  Thank you for the Shuttle Service. You flexibly accommodated both the shuttle to Hachinohe Station and the pickup service from Oirase Keiryukan (Oirase Stream Museum). The meal portions were just right. At a Ryokan, kaiseki can be delicious but also overwhelming because there is too much to finish, but here it was a full course while still an appropriate amount. Breakfast was also good. It was a bit difficult to access Oirase Gorge as it is nearly a 30-minute walk, and the steep slopes around the Hotel left us exhausted, which was disappointing, but we appreciated the quiet environment.

  Located close to the Oirase Gorge, this is a renovated former Kanpo no Yado property. While some areas understandably feel a bit dated, the main parts are well maintained and clean. There is no bath in the Room; bathing is in the large Onsen bathhouse. It features an open-air bath, two indoor baths, a cold-water bath, and spacious tubs, plus a sauna and cold-water bath for a well-rounded experience. The Western-style dinner follows a classic French style; it was carefully prepared and delicious. Alcohol was all-inclusive. A great choice when sightseeing at Oirase Gorge.
