    Before check-in, we ...

    Before check-in, we enjoyed teppanyaki. This lunch was without a doubt the best teppanyaki I have ever had at The Capitol Hotel Tokyu. The food, conversation, and service were in perfect harmony—an indulgent experience that made dining itself worth the stay. It was my first time having a large portion of garlic rice at a Hotel teppanyaki restaurant, and my companion was delighted with a large portion of fried rice as well. Thank you for the wonderful meal. The young door staff member provided excellent valet service. We also truly appreciated the heartfelt conversation at SaRyoh. It felt like you incorporate user experience into real on-site hospitality—so guests never leave with an unpleasant feeling. Every time we visit, we enjoy outstanding service and genuine warmth. Mr./Ms. T kindly made time for me again, even though I am sure I did not deserve it. I am sorry that I ended up doing nothing but complaining despite having the chance to see you. Even after checkout, we happened to have another opportunity to speak, which was a very pleasant surprise for me. I can’t thank you enough for always looking out for us—thank you so much. The hot days will continue for a while; please take good care of yourself. We will definitely return.

    Wonderful hospitality

    This was my first stay since the COVID-19 pandemic. They upgraded my Room, and the service had been wonderfully upgraded as well. I stay on the club floor every time, and I could feel the staff’s thoughtfulness everywhere, making my time comfortable both in the lounge and in my Room. The food in the lounge was delicious, and the Chinese cuisine at Hoshigaoka was also excellent. The Chinese tea in particular was outstanding—I wanted to buy some to take home, but it wasn’t available for purchase, which was disappointing. I would like to stay again for next year’s vacation. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

    As a five-star Hotel, ...

    I have stayed here several times over the past three years, but it feels like the quality of the food (I only use breakfast) and service has declined year by year. First, check-in, check-out, and guidance to the breakfast venue take far too long. You should already have most guest information in advance, so I don’t understand what takes several minutes to look up. What surprised me most was being told that after my luggage was brought to the elevator, I should take it to my Room myself. The staff stationed around the Hotel also seemed mostly inexperienced and lacked attentiveness. The service has visibly deteriorated in a short period of time, and nothing made me feel “as expected of a five-star Hotel!” This used to be one of my favorite Hotels, but I may not stay here again.

    It was my first visi...

    It was my first visit in a while. The service in the lounge was excellent, and the food was truly delicious. I was able to relax while enjoying the view outside. The pool was also comfortable and easy to swim in. I will definitely visit again.

    It was my first time using the lounge in a while. As always, the staff were wonderful, and the lounge was very comfortable. Since I was traveling light and staying mainly to relax, I truly appreciate being able to use the gym and pool without bringing anything with me. Thank you very much, as always.

    Early Birthday Celebration

    Following my stay at the end of June, I stayed on the Club Floor again. Since both my friend traveling with me and I have birthdays in September, we used our summer vacation for an early celebration. In the Room, there were birthday sweets and a message, which made me even more excited for the stay ahead. Perhaps because it was a weekday, the lounge felt less crowded than on weekends. As always, we enjoyed champagne, TWG tea, delicious sweets, anpan (sweet red bean buns), banana bread, and more. Sitting in our favorite seats and looking out at sights such as the National Diet Building, we had a wonderful time catching up after not seeing each other for a while. The main dish during cocktail time was bouillabaisse. When I visit on weekends it is often roast beef, so this was my first time trying it here. It was a delicious soup with ingredients such as angel prawns and scallops. We were able to relax at a very leisurely pace. When we returned to our Room, we were kindly offered takeaway drinks—thanks to that, we could enjoy tasty tea in the Room as well. Throughout our stay, whenever our drinks ran low they promptly refilled them and asked what we would like next—I truly felt how attentive they were to us. My friend, who was staying for only her second time here, said “I really like this Hotel.” We promised each other that we would definitely come back again. We had two wonderful days of thoughtful hospitality from start to finish. Thank you very much.

    This is the best club lounge.

    I always stay here to enjoy an extraordinary and special time away from everyday life. The cocktail-time dishes, carefully prepared right in front of us by the dedicated Club Lounge chef, are of outstanding quality and impress me every time. Also, on the second day, the executive chef came around to greet guests, and I was honored to meet them. All of the lounge staff always provide warm, personal service with a smile. Even after checkout, they kindly saw me off until I got into my taxi. Once again, I was truly soothed by the delicious food and exceptional hospitality. I am deeply grateful to all of the staff. I look forward to seeing you again.

    Top-rated Hotel

    It felt like they served nothing but delicious food from start to finish. Every item we had in the lounge was highly satisfying. We used the pool, and both the water temperature and room temperature were set very comfortably—nothing felt off anywhere. It was a prestigious Hotel with a wonderful view overlooking the National Diet Building and the Imperial Palace. The lounge seemed to be staffed quite generously, but my husband said he felt slightly like he was being watched. Our son also felt a bit tense. Perfect service can be difficult to achieve. Thank you very much for taking such good care of us during our stay.

    Possibly the best in Tokyo.

    I had just stayed here last month, but I chose this Plan because it was a great deal with in-room afternoon tea. First of all, thanks to all the Hotel staff, I was able to enjoy a wonderfully comfortable stay. Thank you very much. Last month I stayed in a spacious Room, and this time it was a simple Deluxe Room, but it was very practical and more than comfortable enough. The afternoon tea looked beautiful and tasted delicious. The sweets in particular were outstanding, with each one having an elaborate flavor. After checking out, I visited Hoshigaoka for the first time and it was excellent. I had imagined it might feel rather formal, but while the interior certainly had an elegant atmosphere, the service from all the staff was wonderful. This applies to the Hotel staff overall as well: they were polite yet friendly in a way that felt attentive to guests, which truly impressed me. Of course, the food was also delicious. I would definitely like to visit again. I think this is a Hotel that is satisfying in every way. It’s disappointing that some time may pass before my next stay, but I’ll work hard looking forward to my next visit. Thank you again in advance.

    First Trip for Two Families

    This was our first stay as three generations. First, our grandchildren—still too young to know better—got overly excited, and I can easily imagine that we may have caused inconvenience to your staff and other guests. I would like to apologize here. We truly felt it may have been too soon for them to visit a Hotel of this caliber. Once again, we are deeply grateful for the exceptional service from your staff, as well as at SUIREN and ORIGAMI—including both the meals and the hospitality. As always, we left the Hotel feeling reluctant to go, already wanting to return. Just two points this time. Another family in our group arrived by car, but upon arrival they were not informed about valet parking (one of the benefits) and were simply directed to proceed to the parking area, which was a little disappointing. It is also our fault for not informing them in advance; however, we thought it would have helped if a staff member had asked their purpose of visit or the Primary Guest’s name upon arrival. The access road to the parking area is relatively narrow and requires extra care not to scrape or bump anything, which made us feel this even more. Also, the air conditioning on the living-room side of our Room was quite weak. Was it possibly malfunctioning? These may be minor issues, but everything else was so perfect that even small things stood out. We are already looking forward to the day we can visit again. Thank you very much.

    It was a wonderful stay.

    It was an even more wonderful stay than I expected. Thank you to everyone who helped make it happen. What I liked - I arrived earlier than planned due to my schedule, and they kindly allowed me to check in as is. - I forgot to ask about the Diamond member late checkout before going up to the Room, but the key card holder already had the checkout time written as 13:00. At other Hotels, I often have to confirm this every time. - The Room layout was great. With the closet and basin close together, it was comfortable without having to go back and forth for things. I was also happy that a humidifier with an air purifier was provided by default. - My Plan included afternoon tea served in the Room. The staff member who brought it even offered to take photos for us, so we were able to capture a nice keepsake. The service came with a lovely smile. - I used the pool area and it really suited my taste. There was a dedicated walking lane in the pool, and everything—the jacuzzi, wood deck, and reclining chairs—was very comfortable. I could relax there for a long time. The paid locker room was also clean and comfortable. - The pork rib noodle soup was delicious, and I was surprised by how high-quality the Japanese breakfast was. It was the best Japanese breakfast among luxury Hotels in Tokyo. From next time on, breakfast will be something I look forward to as part of my stay. - Most guests were adults, and there weren’t any loud overseas visitors, so it felt calm and relaxing. A few disappointments - The pork rib noodle soup came with an allergen garnish/condiment for me. What happened to the allergy confirmation form at check-in? - For the pool, it did feel like members were prioritized and that there were usage restrictions. - The view from the window looked out over a cluttered cluster of buildings. Overall, it was a very good stay. I’m looking forward to my next visit.

    Delicious cappuccino

    As it was a stay for a special occasion, the staff kindly recommended various restaurants in advance. We were able to visit one of them. At breakfast, there were so many international guests that it hardly felt like we were in Japan. The view from our table was beautiful. My favorite cappuccino has always been in Italy, but the first cappuccino served this time was so delicious that it became my new number one. It would be great if showers and a relaxation room could be available when using the gym.

    What does “service” mean?

    I used the lounge. I stayed expecting a high-end experience, but the service was better at the Business Hotel I stayed at the next day. I’m not sure if the lounge concierge or staff were unfamiliar with front desk operations. The lobby front desk staff were very courteous, so I may have set my expectations too high for what would be a wonderful Hotel. The food was delicious.

    Everything is top-class.

    We stayed on the club floor to celebrate a friend’s birthday. We arrived quite early and were relaxing in front of the front desk when a staff member spoke to us and told us our Room was ready, so we were able to check in early. The Room felt spacious even with three beds, and it had two sinks and well-stocked amenities. Tea time was nice, but the food at cocktail time was exceptional—especially the beef filet steak. It was tender and delicious. The night view was also wonderful; following the National Diet Building, we could see Tokyo Skytree beyond it, and we were surprised by how far we could see. Overall, many of the staff seemed young, kind, and greeted us with warm smiles. It was a Hotel that lived up to its reputation, and it was a memorable stay for both my friend and me. Thank you very much.

    A Hotel You Should Stay at with Someone Special

    We stayed here to celebrate my mother’s birthday, and it was without a doubt the No.1 Hotel we have ever stayed at. From check-in to check-out, the staff’s hospitality was truly outstanding—this is a Hotel that genuinely makes you think, “I want to come back.” When I mentioned the birthday at the time of our Reservation, they prepared a heartfelt message card and a gift in our Room, and even arranged a wonderful celebration during afternoon tea. My mother was thrilled, and it felt as if the entire Hotel was celebrating with us. The guest room was quiet and spotless, and every Facility was exceptionally comfortable. Breakfast was of remarkably high quality item by item—the best we’ve ever had at any Hotel. Afternoon tea also exceeded expectations in taste, presentation, and service. There are many luxury hotels, but this reminded me that what truly stays with you is the people. Thanks to the staff’s thoughtful care, it became an unforgettable birthday for my mother. Facilities, cuisine, hospitality—everything was the best we’ve experienced. If you’re spending an anniversary or special occasion with someone important, I can recommend this Hotel with complete confidence. We will definitely stay again.

    We had a wonderful stay.

    I stayed on this Hotel’s club floor a long time ago (about 10 years ago?), but at the time I didn’t fully appreciate its benefits, and since then I’ve been satisfied with the standard floors. This time, however, my stay on the club floor was extremely satisfying. The selection of food in the club lounge didn’t feel especially large, but the quality is outstanding. I was genuinely surprised by how luxurious the dishes prepared by the chef during evening service were. The staff also took exceptional care of us, making everything very comfortable. I was also amazed that they serve Louis Roederer champagne—and it’s unlimited refills. Whenever my glass got low, a staff member would immediately come to top it up; it honestly felt like heaven (laugh). All of the Hotel staff we interacted with outside the club floor were also pleasantly friendly while maintaining a high level of professionalism—excellent service overall. Thank you as well to the person who brought me shipping boxes and helped me choose the right size. The food—including on the club floor—was delicious across the board. The Japanese breakfast served in-room is, for me, among the top one or two Japanese breakfasts in Tokyo Hotels. After having a little in the club lounge at night, I also went to ORIGAMI; I tried their cocotte rice for the first time and it was absolutely delicious. It was truly a wonderful stay overall. The club floor isn’t something I can use often due to cost, but I would definitely love to return again.

    We had a relaxing stay.

    Once again, I had a relaxing stay thanks to the wonderful hospitality of everyone at the Club Lounge. It’s so comfortable that I always end up spending a long time there. I also enjoyed the pool and felt refreshed. For breakfast, I chose the Japanese set meal. I’ve had Japanese set meals at many Hotels, but this one is my favorite. Thank you very much for taking such great care of me again.

    Recommended Hotel from a Friend

    I stayed one night at The Capitol Hotel Tokyu with a friend. The night view from the 29th floor was wonderful, and we took an early-morning walk—Hie Shrine, the Prime Minister’s Office, the National Diet Building, the National Diet Library, and the lawmakers’ residences—all within an hour.\nAfter our walk, we enjoyed a swim in the pool. Breakfast was extremely satisfying: Eggs Benedict (salmon and crab), rice-flour French toast, plus a buffet.\nThe staff were pleasant and attentive, and it was very convenient to access the train directly from B2. A friend recommended it to me, so I sent a thank-you email.\nThis is a Hotel I’d love to stay at again.

    We stayed here to celebrate my husband’s birthday.

    All the staff were kind, and we were able to relax and enjoy our stay. The food and alcoholic beverages on the club floor were excellent, and they even surprised us with a beautiful birthday fruit plate. Thank you very much. The bar was also slightly old-fashioned, calm, and wonderful. With large windows overlooking greenery, it had the classic charm of a true Hotel bar. Seeing photos of artists who have visited—such as The Beatles (during the Hilton era) and Michael Jackson—made us feel its history. It was a great birthday stay.

    It was a comfortable stay.

    As on my previous stay, I was able to spend a very comfortable time. The service in the Club Room was unquestionably excellent, and I am truly grateful. Since I had an errand to run at midday, I arrived early to ask if you could store my luggage, but you kindly allowed me to check in early, which was a great help. Thank you. However, on the morning of the first day when I tried to have breakfast at ORIGAMI, which offers a good selection of Japanese cuisine, something happened that dampened my mood. Although there were many guests, it was not extremely crowded and there did not seem to be a shortage of seating. Even so, I was quickly shown all the way to the back near the entrance to the bussing area (the very far end), and Japanese tea was served in a cup and saucer—treatment that felt like the kind of discrimination against Asians once seen at overseas hotels (and in Japan). Perhaps it meant we were not welcome guests... but because the contrast with the wonderful service elsewhere was so great, it genuinely left me feeling discouraged and compelled me to share this feedback.

    The Japanese-style set breakfast was delicious.

    It was great that there were six bottles of water for two people, including the ones placed by the bedside. The Japanese set breakfast was excellent, with many dishes and great taste. It would have been even better if there had been two sinks in the washroom. A mirror in the bathroom would also have made it easier to shave.

    It was two days of relaxation and rejuvenation.

    This was my first stay in two years. Thank you for accommodating my request regarding the Room location. It was a relaxing and restful two days, including the Japanese-style breakfast with origami that I had been looking forward to. There were plenty of staff everywhere, and it was very easy to approach someone whenever we needed assistance. At the club lounge, we received wonderful hospitality from the staff. They were attentive without being overly formal, and checked in on us at just the right moments. Every dish was delicious—especially the offerings during cocktail time. What I particularly liked about the standard Room we stayed in: The closet is an open closet. There are many hangers, with a good variety of types. The luggage rack is spacious, making it easy to take items in and out of our bags. There are two towels of each type provided per person. The shower booth is large. Overall, we were able to relax very comfortably. I would love to stay again. Thank you very much.

    They were very kind to us.

    This was my first stay. The location was convenient for getting anywhere. This time we booked a Club Room, so we also used the lounge.     I still can’t forget...

    I still can’t forget what a wonderful stay it was. The surroundings were so quiet and soothing, and the Japanese-style pilaf was incredibly delicious! The Room was spotless and sparkling clean, so I could truly relax. Everything—from the elegant, calming design—was absolutely lovely. Thank you for such a wonderful, unforgettable memory.

    First-class

    The doormen, concierge, and front desk staff were all impeccable—truly world-class. I didn’t get a chance to use the restaurant, but the financiers and cookies were delicious, as were the baked curry bread and white truffle bread. I also wasn’t able to use the pool or gym, so I’ll look forward to that next time. The chamomile tea was excellent as well. The view of the Prime Minister’s Office and the National Diet Building was breathtaking.

    A highly satisfying stay.

    Since my check-in date fell on a public holiday, I was able to fully enjoy SaRyoh in a way that’s unique to the holidays. The orangettes and mendiants I look forward to every visit, along with the vegetable chips with their perfectly balanced wasabi flavor, were also a perfect match with alcohol. As the outside temperature had just started to rise, it felt a little warm while spending time at SaRyoh. At the Capitol Bar as well, we enjoyed great conversation while having the recommended gin and whiskey, making this stay during my birthday month truly the best. To all the staff, thank you as always. Until we meet again, please take care and stay well.
