    Cool

    We were worried that the earthquake might have caused damage, but when we asked in advance, we were told there was no particular impact and that we could feel at ease, so we decided to visit. The area around Aso was cooler than Kumamoto City and very comfortable. For the open-air bath in the Room, they showed us how to fill it with Onsen water when showing us around, and since it is available 24 hours a day, we were able to enjoy a relaxing soak at night and again in the morning. This time we chose a Plan with breakfast only, but there were many small dishes beautifully arranged and pleasing to the eye, and the rice cooked in a pot was also very delicious. This is an Accommodation we would like to visit again for a relaxing stay.

    I chose this Accommodation because it seemed to have a great view from the Room, and with the good weather it was even more wonderful than I imagined. The meals were truly delicious! All of the staff were very pleasant, and one staff member was from overseas but explained everything carefully, which I really appreciated. Visiting Aso has become a very special memory for me. Thank you very much.

    The hot water was excellent.

    The free-flowing Onsen water was excellent, with a perfectly comfortable temperature. The service was very polite and attentive; there were also foreign staff members, and their hospitality was exemplary. I imagine learning Japanese is challenging, but please keep up the good work. The Room itself wasn’t bad, but the tatami living area is still not very practical, and I think it may be difficult for elderly guests to get up. As for the meals, they were a standard kaiseki-style menu. This is Minami Aso in Kumamoto, where there are many delicious local ingredients, so I wished there had been a bit more creativity. That said, the meat grilled on a rock-salt plate was tasty (though there was less meat than condiments). The main issue was the dining area. Even though this Accommodation is nestled in the forest, we couldn’t see any outdoor scenery at all (it may have been only our private room). Also, unnecessary background music (AKB playing continuously) was distracting. Although it was a private room, we could hear conversations from next door very clearly (even down to what they were talking about). In my personal opinion, if the dining experience improves, this is an Accommodation I would like to visit again and again.

    Completely satisfied

    The location with views of Aso was excellent, and the Accommodation’s serene atmosphere and cleanliness were outstanding. Naturally, both the cuisine and the Onsen were superb, and I was impressed by the staff’s attentive hospitality—from parking guidance to the tour of the Accommodation and meal service. The washroom mirror was set too low for men, so it would have been better if it were a bit higher.

    Lovely Accommodation

    The room, private bath, and large public bath were all wonderful. The food was delicious, and the staff at the accommodation were very pleasant. It was a delightful trip. I would love to visit again.

    The open-air bath and the food were excellent! Especially Maron, the semi-wild cat, was super friendly and incredibly cute.

    The Onsen facility was excellent. However, the sashimi was not fresh. It would be better to have a clear distinction between hot and cold dishes. It's disappointing considering how good the Onsen facility is.

    Wonderful Room and Onsen

    It was an incredibly comfortable Room. I took a bath four times and relaxed. The view from the veranda was also great!

    A satisfying accommodation.

    The onsen in the room's open-air bath is filled right in front of you upon arrival, which is a surprising performance. Additionally, there are large public baths and family baths, making it well-equipped. The room is a detached unit, and the futon mattress on the bed fits perfectly to your body, providing great comfort for sleeping. It was a relaxing and peaceful accommodation where you can unwind at ease.

    The view from the Room is excellent.

    The entrance was hard to find and we struggled a bit, but the room was spacious, had a great view, and the open-air bath in the room was also large and comfortable. We arrived about 30 minutes late because we got lost on the way, but we were able to enjoy a leisurely dinner. The large public bath is not that spacious, so it's more relaxing to take your time in the open-air bath in the room. The bath in the room starts filling with water when you check in. The private bath also has the onsen water replaced according to the time you reserved. It's a luxury unique to a place with abundant hot spring water. Highly recommended.

    It was a long-awaite...

    It was a long-awaited trip with my parents. We were satisfied with everything, including the room's open-air bath, each meal, the accommodation fee, and the hospitality of all the staff. We would like to stay again.
