    We were very satisfied with our one-night stay.

    We stayed as a family to celebrate a special anniversary. The Hotel’s location, the staff’s polished service, the Room interior, the Facility offerings, and the view were all outstanding. The food and drinks served in the lounge were delicious and thoughtfully selected in just the right amount—perfect for relaxing comfortably rather than rushing to eat and drink. It was a one-night stay that left our whole family completely satisfied. When we visit Kobe as a family, this will likely be our only choice.

    A Relaxing Hotel

    I always stay here whenever I visit Kobe. The room is thoroughly cleaned, making for a very comfortable stay. The breakfast menu had changed since last time, but it was still delicious. A family with a small child was dining nearby, and whenever one of the parents stood up, the child would fuss loudly each time. Since there is plenty of space, it might be a good idea to separate the dining area for families with children from the area for adults only.

    At 11:00 PM, I received a call from the front desk...

    When staying in the Junior Suite, we were told that breakfast could be delivered via room service. To avoid our 2-year-old disturbing other guests in the breakfast venue, we requested room service. After finally getting our 2-year-old to sleep and the adults had just started sleeping as well, the phone rang loudly…! At first I didn’t understand what was happening, and since I was half-asleep I couldn’t answer. Thinking it was fine, I went back to sleep—then about five minutes later, the phone rang again. A man said, “This is to confirm your room service!” It was about the kids’ plate. When I looked at the clock, it was 11:00 p.m. I understand that confirmation may be necessary for work… but calling at that hour to confirm a kids’ plate made me question their common sense. Didn’t they consider that “the child is probably asleep,” “calling might wake the child,” or “if there was no answer once, they’re likely already asleep”? We stayed in a Junior Suite and really enjoyed the bath and overall Facility, but being woken up late at night was very upsetting. After that, I couldn’t sleep because I kept getting angrier. I’m posting this Review so this doesn’t happen to other guests.

    It was a wonderful Hotel.

    We arrived before noon, left our car in the parking lot, and walked through the former foreign settlement area, then strolled from Nankinmachi to the Sannomiya shopping street. The location is very convenient. The breakfast buffet was excellent, and the French toast was delicious. There was also a great selection of Chinese dishes. I tried to send a soap set listed as a souvenir gift; when I asked a staff member on the 17th floor in front of the restaurant, I was told they didn’t have it. When I checked again at checkout, it turned out they did. We checked out around 12:30 with late checkout. As an IKYU Diamond member benefit, parking during the stay was supposed to be free, but we were charged an additional fee for going over time, which was a bit disappointing.

    Bathtub

    The room is clean, user-friendly, and leaves a good impression, but it would be better if the bathtub faucets were clearly labeled for hot and cold water.

    We were able to relax and unwind.

    When I went to see shows at the Imperial Theatre, I visited a restaurant in Yurakucho several times for its amazing pancakes. The name of the place included “Hotel,” and I wondered, “A Hotel even though it’s a restaurant?” After looking it up, I learned about this Hotel. This time, I decided to attend a concert at GLION ARENA and made a Reservation here. Check-in was clear and friendly. The Room was just the right size, and although the view was slightly blocked by nearby high-rise buildings, I could still see the sea. The bathtub was spacious, and I appreciated the bath salts. It took me a moment to find the bathroom power switch (lol). Unfortunately there were no pancakes, so I ordered Basque cheesecake via room service instead. Ordering on the tablet was easy, and the cheesecake was delicious. The limited-quantity French toast at breakfast was crispy on the outside and moist inside—really excellent. Everything was tasty: smoked salmon, prosciutto, small croquettes, simmered beef tendon stew, scrambled eggs, salad, sautéed mushrooms, and spring rolls. I wanted to try the curry bread too but didn’t think my stomach could handle it, so I chose rice porridge instead—and that was also very good. The soup dumplings and steamed shrimp dumplings nearby were delicious as well. For dessert I had a peach smoothie; it was great too. Breakfast left me completely satisfied. After breakfast there was still time until check-out, so I could relax. It’s a very good Hotel—I’d love to stay here again when I come back to Kobe.

    You can stay here with peace of mind. Although the rooms show some signs of age, they are clean. No matter how many times I stay, I always want to come back.

    I was able to refresh and recharge.

    I have stayed here many times. The Room is spacious, the amenities are great, and the bed was very comfortable. This time, we had dinner on the terrace. The portion size felt a little smaller than last time, but it was delicious and included all-you-can-drink, so I was satisfied. Breakfast is delicious, and being able to enjoy sparkling wine makes it excellent. I would like to stay again if I have the chance.

    We had a relaxing and comfortable stay.

    The hotel and guest rooms had a wonderful atmosphere, and the view was spectacular, so I was able to relax and enjoy a comfortable stay. The staff were kind, and the club lounge was also very pleasant to use. The French toast at breakfast was delicious as well. The parking was easy to use, and since it’s close to Sannomiya, it was convenient for dinner out and evening walks. I would like to stay here again.

    The Orient Hotel is an adults-only hotel.

    I stayed here on a business trip, and both the quality of the dinner and the service, as well as the variety of breakfast options, were top-notch. I could really feel their commitment to health. Next time I’m in Kobe, I will definitely stay here again.

    A Comfortable Stay

    Thank you very much for your hospitality the other day; we had a very comfortable stay. Thank you for preparing a congratulatory card in the Room to celebrate my child’s acceptance. It was an unexpected surprise, and they were truly delighted and still have it proudly displayed. With sincere appreciation for your thoughtful kindness, we are considering visiting again at the end of the fiscal year. We look forward to staying with you again.

    It was a wonderful Hotel.

    On my first trip to Kobe, I made a Reservation at this Hotel. The location was extremely convenient, the area was quiet, and the Room was spacious with a very practical layout (personally, I like the open-plan bathroom area). The bathroom was also large, with a bathtub of more than sufficient size, so after walking around sightseeing in Kobe all day, I was able to relax and recover. The Hotel itself had a calm atmosphere, and the interior design was lovely. This time my stay included breakfast, and the buffet offered a wide variety of options—I was very satisfied from the morning. I’d like to make this my regular Hotel whenever I visit Kobe, so I already requested my next Reservation as well. Thank you for a comfortable stay.

    We had a comfortable stay as a family.

    I stayed here with my wife and our 2-year-old child. The staff were very kind to our child, which left a lasting impression. The Facilities and amenities were clean, and we had a comfortable stay. Considering the price, I felt it offered excellent value for money. The location was also great, making sightseeing and going out easy. It was an Accommodation where families with small children can stay with peace of mind, and we had a pleasant time together as a family.

    It was a very comfortable Hotel to stay at.

    Located in the former foreign settlement, it’s in a great area with plenty of shopping (including Daimaru) and dining options nearby. From the Room, we also had a nice view overlooking ships in Kobe Port. The bathroom is spacious and comes with a jacuzzi. On hot summer days, I would sweat quickly, so being able to rinse off right away in the jacuzzi was extremely convenient. Breakfast was delicious, and above all, the staff were kind, making our stay very comfortable. It’s a very good Hotel.

    We had a comfortable stay.

    This was my first stay since the name change. It was comfortably the same in a good way. I think there used to be blinds on the inside of the Room window, but this time there was an opaque inner glass window, making it double-layered; even when closed, it still let in light, which made it easy to spend time in the Room. The room service was as delicious as ever. However, I was disappointed that croquettes were no longer available to order. I return to Kobe regularly, so I would like to stay here again next time.

    I stayed on a Plan with Club Lounge access. Everyone in the lounge was very kind and proactively helped with various things. I chose this Hotel to relax, and the Room was truly spacious, with well-stocked amenities—I was happy they even provided a beauty serum and a ReFa hair dryer. It was also my first time at a Hotel where I could rent workout wear, socks, and shoes for free to use the gym, so it was great not having to bring anything from home.

    Wonderful!

    The atmosphere of the building and Room is wonderful, and the staff’s hospitality is outstanding—nothing to complain about! If I had to mention just one thing, I’d love to see a more fully equipped lounge, even if it means higher prices. During cocktail time, I’d like options beyond just snacks. For breakfast, a bit more variety would make it perfect.

    It was a comfortable stay.

    The breakfast venue is a lovely restaurant with windows, but I wasn’t able to get a relaxing window-side seat. I would have liked to know what time slots you can accommodate requests for window seating. I also heard that seats can be reserved, so if breakfast seating can be reserved, it would have been helpful to be informed at check-in.

    It was amazing during the Obon holiday.

    Although it was a last-minute Reservation, I was able to book a great-value stay with club access. I used the lounge even before check-in. The staff were excellent, and there was a wide selection of alcoholic drinks, so I could relax and unwind. The Room was spacious, with a large sofa, table, and chairs, making it very comfortable. The bathtub and washing area were also roomy, which helped me recover from my fatigue. Overall, I was completely satisfied.

    I have stayed at this Hotel many times, and every visit offers a calm atmosphere and a wonderful time. At breakfast, it seemed they may be short-staffed, and the service was not as warm as before, which was a little disappointing, but the food was still outstandingly delicious as always. I’m looking forward to visiting again in autumn.

    We were very satisfied.

    I’m very satisfied again. The Room is convenient and well equipped, the location is great, and the staff are always smiling—this is a Hotel I really like. Even though I want to stay at different Hotels, when it comes to Kobe, I feel like this Hotel is all I need. It’s my favorite Hotel.

    Exceptional hospitality.

    This is an excellent Hotel in every respect—Room cleanliness, staff hospitality, delicious meals, and amenities such as towels and slippers. The location is also great, and my daughter always looks forward to visiting the Familia flagship store. You won’t have any trouble finding dinner options nearby. It has become our regular Accommodation whenever we stay in Kobe.

    The service industry is not well developed.

    Although the breakfast venue was small, some unused space was not opened to guests. We visited as a group of three but were seated at the counter. Later, a four-person table became available, so we asked if we could move, but were told it was “reserved.” However, is it actually possible to make seat reservations in the breakfast venue? We also had a Reservation for afternoon tea, but waited about 30 minutes before being seated. Even after sitting down, no one took our drink order for quite some time. It clearly felt understaffed; meanwhile, staff who appeared to be concierge-like seemed idle, which made us wonder why they couldn’t provide more flexible support.

    Awesome!

    This was our third family stay. As always, a wonderful Room. The bath smelled great and was spacious. And our favorite breakfast—everything was delicious. We tried pho for the first time, and it was very tasty. The smoothie is also a favorite. Once again, it was a very satisfying trip. Thank you very much.

    This is a wonderful Hotel.

    I stay at various Hotels in Japan and abroad, and considering the price as well, I think this is one of the excellent Hotels. The staff are mainly young, but their hospitality training is thorough. The interior is not uniform like other chain Hotels. I would recommend it.

    It was a comfortable stay.

    This was my first stay, and they upgraded my room. The Facilities and amenities were thoughtfully provided, and I had a comfortable stay with no inconveniences at all. I’m sure the club lounge is wonderful as well, so next time I made a Reservation with lounge access. The takeout Basque cheesecake was also outstanding.

    A consistently reliable Hotel.

    On a scorching hot Marine Day, we enjoyed the happiness of gazing at the sea from our air-conditioned Room for just one night. The Hotel’s overall color scheme is calm and soothing. We also appreciated the large bathtub, the bathroom with a separate washing area, and the two-piece pajamas. We were told everything in the fridge was complimentary, so we tried them all—sake, sparkling wine, and beer! There were also plenty of sweet drinks like cola and juices, as well as tea; unfortunately we didn’t get around to those this time, but the selection is excellent. Speaking of great amenities, there were also six bottles of water provided for two guests. We only used two, but it was a very welcome touch. It was a shame we didn’t find the right timing to use either the late check-out service or the vouchers. Thank you to all staff members—including the housekeeping team—for your truly pleasant and courteous service.

    As always, this is a...

    As always, this is a consistently reliable Hotel. I have nothing in particular to add. I had dinner (Italian), and they accommodated various requests, which I really appreciated. I also think it offers excellent value for money.
