Yufu no Yu YURI

This was my first stay in Yufuin Onsen.We stayed in a two-bedroom Room with an open-air bath.Each Room was separate, so it was very quiet and relaxing.The Onsen water left my skin feeling smooth, so I thought it might be alkaline.You can adjust the temperature of the open-air bath to your liking, which is perfect for anyone who prefers lukewarm baths!The Room felt a bit old, but it was spacious and easy to use.What I liked most was the firmness of the bed.I believe it was a Simmons mattress—just right. My wife loved it too.I didn’t have high expectations for the meals given the price, but we enjoyed them, including wagyu sukiyaki.The bottled beer we ordered with dinner was 650 yen, which felt inexpensive for Hotel pricing.Overall, I recommend this Hotel for those who want to relax and enjoy the hot water and nature without leaving their Room.Since it’s far from town, I recommend shopping in advance.

I really appreciated the service of having our luggage carried to the Room and being shown in, and it was wonderful that the Room had already been warmed up. The open-air bath with free-flowing natural hot spring water was thoughtfully designed so we could adjust the temperature freely by adding cold water. In the morning and daytime we enjoyed the sound of Japanese bush warblers, and at night a sky full of stars—an amazing bathing experience. I think I went in about five times (haha). The meals were not too much—just the right amount.I also appreciated the coffee service in the lobby.The bed was king-size, so I could rest comfortably.Just one thing: when I tried to go directly from the Room to the open-air bath, the screen door had come off. I tried but couldn’t fix it, so I could only access it through the bathroom.I would definitely like to stay again. Thank you very much.
