The vast ocean stretched out directly in front of us through the large windows, and we were able to relax very comfortably in nature. The young proprietress and all the staff welcomed us with heartfelt hospitality, providing service that was perfectly attentive without being intrusive, which left us feeling truly warm. The meals were also very delicious; there was a bit more than we could eat, but we finished everything. The bath was an Onsen that warmed us thoroughly. This was a wonderful Ryokan that preserves the spirit of traditional Japanese hospitality, and we would definitely like to stay again.

About a 15-minute walk from the Toi ferry terminal. A beautiful, charming building along the coast. I stayed in a Room on the 3rd floor of this 7-story property and thoroughly enjoyed in-Room breakfast and dinner, the private scenic bath in the guest Room, and the large public bath. The water was very hot; I used it as is in the public bath, and added water to cool it slightly in the in-Room bath. Even in midsummer heat, I was able to cool off while soaking slowly, spending about two hours in total. The view from the bath overlooks the coast, with mountains, a river, and even the road visible—well balanced—and there is a horizontal sliding window that can be opened to any width you like. Since it is set one step higher than inside the guest Room, you can fully open it not only during meals but also while bathing; if you soak into the deep tub, you can enjoy the scenery even with it wide open. Since we were staying anyway, choosing a meal course with abalone and spiny lobster was absolutely the right decision. Unexpected touches—such as greetings from the young proprietress at dinner and a gift of a houseplant at departure—were also happily received.
