    They were very kind.

    Right after breakfast I had to work, and they kindly kept things quiet—even during cleanup, they were very careful not to make noise. The bath was also wonderful. Some people mention insects or noise, but I didn’t experience any of that at all!

    Adult-Friendly Accommodation

    The meals were excellent, and the staff (including international team members) provided attentive service. Both dinner and breakfast were served in the Room, which offered a private atmosphere and made our stay very satisfying.

    A long soak is a must.

    A wonderful Accommodation that brings back memories of a traditional Japanese inn. The staff are attentive, and you can relax at your own pace, making it a place you’ll want to return to. The guest rooms and the private open-air bath in the detached annex feel like being in the forest—you may find yourself soaking for a long time.

    We had a relaxing stay.

    The Room bath was spacious, and we were able to relax and enjoy it. The meals had a gentle flavor, were beautifully presented, and were delicious.

    The open-air bath in...

    The open-air bath in our Room had a wonderful view and was amazing. The food was excellent in both taste and presentation. The service was attentive, and we had a truly lovely time.

    It was a beautiful accommodation.

    The accommodation building is beautiful and promising, but there were a few disappointing points that could be improved. ■ Before Reservation - The description of the shuttle service on the information page is outdated (it has been 200 yen one way since last year). ■ Room & Amenities - Only men's L and women's S yukata were available, with no explanation about exchanges. It would be helpful to have instructions, even if contacting the front desk allows for an exchange. ■ Customer Service - The staff was very helpful and polite; however, unfortunately, there was a noticeable smell of tobacco. Since meals are served in the room, this might have been more noticeable. ■ Onsen & Bath - The room had a private open-air bath with perfect water temperature for relaxation. However, the exposed corrugated plastic roof detracted from the atmosphere; it would be better if it were concealed or improved. - There seemed to be dust on the lower part of the wall; cleaning this area would enhance cleanliness. - The distance from the room to some areas requires quite a walk, which might be challenging for elderly guests. ■ Facility & Equipment - The facility was clean and well-maintained overall. However, it was disappointing that the bar counter is currently closed. ■ Meals - The rice served at this accommodation was exceptionally delicious. - During dinner service, we received an initial menu list; however, some dishes differed from what was listed without any explanation provided. - One serving of sashimi included one piece of fatty tuna while others only had lean tuna slices—whether intentional or not should ideally be confirmed before serving. ■ Overall Satisfaction - Considering in-room dining and private open-air baths are offered at this price point, it seems reasonable overall; however better explanations across various aspects would have enhanced satisfaction further.

    The cuisine, room, and Onsen are all excellent.

    First, the welcome matcha was impressive. The private open-air bath for each guest outside the room was exceptional and moving. The room was clean, and every dish served was delicious, making it a truly wonderful stay. I would love to visit again.

    Wonderful Accommodation

    The service, facility, and meals were all excellent, and I was very satisfied. If I may point out one thing, the hairdryer provided was quite subpar, making it difficult for women with long hair to dry their hair efficiently. I strongly recommend replacing the hairdryers in all rooms and shared baths immediately. Other than that, everything was wonderful. I would love to stay here again. Thank you very much!

    Guest satisfaction was low.

    The staff member who assisted us was somewhat intimidating. The open-air bath had too many mosquitoes, making it practically unusable. Most of the meals were served cold. The Room shakes every time large trucks or buses pass by.

    Summer Memory Trip

    The cuisine and Onsen were excellent. Above all, the staff's hospitality was outstanding. They guided us to the bus stop during checkout and even ensured we stayed dry by leading us to a sheltered spot as it was raining heavily. Thank you for your thoughtful care.

    The room design and service are perfect.

    I have been exploring various inns and hotels around Hakone that offer rooms with open-air baths and meals. Here, you can enjoy a view of the bath from your room, and both breakfast and dinner are incredibly delicious. The alcohol is reasonably priced, earning high marks from me. However, there was one issue: when I arrived, the hot spring bath was not filled, so I couldn't "take a quick bath" right away. It was a shame to waste that precious moment of relaxation. Other than that, I was very satisfied.
