    Used it on a drizzly day and was satisfied.

    It was my first trip to Mito in 20 years, but unfortunately it rained. Still, thanks to staying at this Hotel, I didn’t feel any inconvenience when it came to shopping or dining. At the front desk, there were 2–3 staff members who were quite unfriendly, and three who were very pleasant (a foreign staff member, a male staff member, and a young female staff member). So even if you happen to be helped by someone unfriendly, if another person assists you instead you can still feel well taken care of—so it’s fine. I stayed for two nights. On the first night I had a Room near the elevators on a day with many group guests. Since I’m a light sleeper, even small noises woke me up. When I spoke with the young female receptionist about it, she kindly reassigned me to another Room without any hassle. I really appreciated that. The Room was very spacious and had new facilities. Because it was raining, I spent a lot of time in the Room and found it very comfortable. Complimentary bottled water and tea bags were provided, but there was no coffee—since I like having coffee in my pajamas right after waking up, next time I’ll bring instant coffee myself. Also, there was only one sturdy pair of slippers suitable for going to the large public bath area inside the Hotel; next time I plan to bring disposable slippers as well. There was also an Accommodation guest–exclusive aperitivo at the restaurant. The selection, price, and service were all excellent—I was completely satisfied. Overall I was extremely satisfied and will stay here again next time!

    Newly renovated and beautifully refreshed.

    Breakfast offered a wide variety of options, and I enjoyed the delicious ingredients from Ibaraki. The bath felt a little small compared to the size of the Hotel.

    Renovated

    The guest rooms have been renovated and are now more user-friendly than before. The vending machines in the building have been removed, so you’ll need to buy drinks at a convenience store and store them in the in-room refrigerator. One complimentary bottle of mineral water is provided. This Hotel is conveniently located near the station, well cleaned, and a comfortable place to stay with peace of mind. Thank you for your hospitality.

    Even if the Facility is fairly clean, it can still be ruined by the people and staff. It was a learning experience.

    Great location.

    I stayed here for sightseeing. It is directly connected to Mito Station, which was very convenient. The room decor was beautiful, and the refrigerator was well stocked. Breakfast was also delicious. However, the large public bath had only three washing stations, and at one point a line formed while people waited to use them. It would have been better if there were two more or so.

    Restaurant

    I’m staying at this Hotel in a renovated Room. The view isn’t great, but the Room is comfortable. The bed firmness and linens are good, and the bathrobe is also comfortable. The restaurant offers two set courses—5,500 yen and 8,800 yen—as well as à la carte options. The pasta and risotto are excellent, cooked perfectly al dente. The quality of the wine by the glass is also high; both red and white pair well with the food and taste great.

    Excellent location

    Anyway, the location right in front of the station is excellent. The Room has been renovated and is clean, and although the cloakroom is an open type, there are plenty of hangers. The slippers are sandal-style and seem not to be disposable, but they were comfortable and easy to wear. However, I was personally looking forward to the large public bath, but with only three washing stations, one tub, and no windows, it felt a bit closed-in and somewhat underwhelming... It was my first stay here, but breakfast was properly delicious as well! Overall, I’m satisfied. Thank you very much. The parking lot could be used without a Reservation, which really helped! → For guests staying overnight: parking ticket service available for 1,000 yen (per night?)

    Renovated Room

    I made a Reservation because I wanted to stay in a renovated Room. The Room was comfortable and easy to use, and the bath, bed firmness, and other amenities were all great. I plan to stay in a renovated Room again next time. In Mito, I think this Hotel is the best. It’s very close to the station, there are plenty of dining options nearby, there is also a large public bath, and the front desk staff are polite and kind. I was very satisfied.

    Very convenient for a Business Hotel.

    Directly connected to Mito Station, making it very convenient. The Room was clean and comfortable. However, it was disappointing that there were no tissues in the Room as expected. Since I have hay fever, this was quite inconvenient. Breakfast was satisfying, with a good balance of quantity and quality. If I have the opportunity, I would like to stay again next time.

    I was surprised by the smell of cigarette smoke leaking from the smoking Room diagonally in front of us at check-in. When I entered the Room, I noticed an unpleasant odor from the shower curtain. For breakfast, I would have liked the refills to be replenished a little sooner. I would appreciate it if you could improve the above points.

    Staying at the accommodation after a while

    Unfortunately.

    I was looking forward to the renewal. The Room was very clean and nice, but I was shocked to find that the room slippers were dirty blue rubber toilet slippers. I desperately searched for disposable slippers but couldn't find any, so I ended up buying slippers at a nearby Daiso. Honestly, even if you're not a germaphobe, this is unacceptable. Also, there is no stand to place your suitcase on, so you have to open your luggage on the floor. The hangers in the Room are also cheap quality, so be prepared for that. The good point was that the food was very delicious.

    The Christmas decorations at the entrance are lovely.

    Since 2022, I have always chosen this place when staying in Mito. I am impressed by the quick response to concerns from a female perspective, and after the major renovation, the addition of female-friendly carpets and large TVs makes it truly relaxing. The Italian restaurant on the first floor is exceptional. Every dish is delicious, and this time they even played my favorite "Cry Me a River" by Julie London—such great taste in music selection! I am grateful to all the Hotel staff for their warm smiles that made me feel at ease and helped me tackle challenging work during my stay. IKYU.com is incredibly convenient for last-minute bookings even late at night.

    The newly renovated ...

    The newly renovated room was very comfortable, but it was disappointing that there is a smoking area just before the elevator hall, next to the check-in counter. I would expect extra care to be taken to prevent unpleasant odors in key areas like the lobby and around the front desk.

    Drunken Guests at Wedding Receptions and Breakfast Buffet

    I stayed for the first time on Saturday, November 2, 2025. It was a pre-stay before an event. From the time of check-in, I noticed the smell of alcohol from guests who had attended a banquet near the front desk. When I went to retrieve my luggage from the parking lot, I encountered someone who was heavily intoxicated. They were staggering and bumped into me; it seemed they were quite drunk. Breakfast was provided as a buffet. While hotel buffets usually come with high expectations, this one had limited menu options and many pre-prepared dishes, which was disappointing. However, considering that the buffet price is set at a low rate, it might be reasonable for what is offered. Since it's close to Mito Station, I thought about using it for a family trip next time but felt it might not be suitable for bringing my family along.

    I will visit again!

    The breakfast was so delicious that I almost regretted being on a diet, but I’m proud of myself for holding back. (SAZA, absolutely perfect.) The bath exceeded my expectations; my skin didn’t dry out, and I slept very well. All the staff members were courteous and attentive.

    The Halloween-themed Hotel entrance is too scary.

    I have stayed here multiple times, and it is a lovely hotel, but during the Halloween season, the oversized skeletons and witches at the entrance are too frightening. Especially at night with the purple lighting in the darkness—there are several large horror figures... I had planned a multiple night stay, but it was so eerie that I stayed at another hotel on the second night. I will stay again once the Halloween decorations are removed.

    The front desk staff...

    The front desk staff provided excellent service with a friendly demeanor. The cleanliness of the Room was also outstanding. I would love to stay here again.

    Delicious breakfast

    Conveniently located right next to the station with a bus rotary directly below. The air conditioning was preset, and as the room temperature didn’t drop much in this heat, I requested the front desk to adjust it. Contacting the front desk is done via QR code from your mobile phone. However, before that, the free Wi-Fi was very difficult to connect to, so I went to the front desk and had them come to my Room to resolve issues including a non-functioning TV. The young man who assisted me was very kind and attentive, which I greatly appreciated. Breakfast doesn’t have an extensive variety of dishes but offers excellent quality and taste—everything was delicious!

    Sauna

    The sauna temperature was 70 degrees, and when I informed the staff, they mentioned that it was at maximum output. It might be a product capability issue, but perhaps a higher-performance unit should be installed. I stayed with high expectations for the sauna, but it was very disappointing.

    Conveniently located near the station with a large public bath.

    The room was clean, and the front desk staff were very pleasant. I stayed alone after a class reunion, and the large public bath was great. Although I originally planned for No Meals Included, I decided to try the breakfast buffet because it looked delicious. The place was hygienic, and the staff worked efficiently, making it a pleasant experience. The food was delicious, and I left feeling full and satisfied.

    The sommelier's talk was very interesting.

    We planned to have dinner outside, but since everywhere was fully booked, we decided to go to the hotel's Italian restaurant. Unexpectedly, the sommelier's wine selection was fascinating and their stories were insightful. We enjoyed delicious and unique wines.

    Comfortable Accommodation

    Directly connected to Mito Station, you can leave your luggage before check-in and enjoy sightseeing hands-free. The Room was clean, with a large TV screen, making it very comfortable. The interior design, including plum blossom illustrations on the walls and mustard yellow sofas, was charming and delightful. The bedding had a firm mattress which allowed for a good night's sleep. Breakfast was served as a buffet; however, some items were not replenished in time and unavailable, which was unfortunate. Still, the fresh vegetables, raw konjac jelly, natto, and other dishes were delicious. The service allowing guests to take coffee back to their Room was also appreciated. With an 11:00 AM checkout time providing extra relaxation time, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this Hotel and look forward to visiting again!

    It was convenient to have our luggage stored before and after check-in. The Room was bright, clean, and comfortable, and the breakfast buffet offered a variety of classic dishes, including local specialties like natto, which were delicious. After a restful sleep and a delightful breakfast, we felt energized to explore Mito. We enjoyed walking along Senba Lake to Kairakuen Garden and visited Kodokan Hall, Mito Castle ruins, and other attractions for a fulfilling sightseeing experience in Mito.

    Affordable and clean accommodation.

    The parking lot is a bit hard to find, but we quickly got information about the fees over the phone. The smell from the pipes was slightly noticeable. Talking with the staff was pleasant and enjoyable.

    Business Hotel attached to a wedding venue

    I stayed at the property for the first time in several years because the hotel I usually use was under renovation. Perhaps because I had stayed there once before, I was asked if I needed breakfast information at check-in, which made me think "huh?" I was surprised by this response, as I'm not a frequent guest. When asking about using room wear and slippers to go to the bath, I received vague answers and no further guidance on the bath facilities. After returning to my room with questions, I checked where it was located via elevator signs and confirmed usage times myself. I noticed others asking about breakfast locations the next day. If they are simplifying guidance regardless of stay history, it might be better to automate rather than rely on human interaction. As others have mentioned, after bathing, there was an unpleasant chlorine smell on me. With few showers and a cramped changing area, I aimed for early evening when it would be less crowded. The skincare in the changing area consisted only of one bottle of hatomugi lotion and some cotton pads. During my multiple night stay (Multiple Night Stay), although displaying a card indicating no need for towel exchange beside my bed, everything was cleaned thoroughly with towels replaced; however, complimentary drink service wasn't provided. If they are going to replace them anyway that's fine but then such gestures should be stopped altogether. With time before my return train journey left over after visiting their restaurant only offering buffet during weekends without allowing just drinks consumption alone due having luggage stored too spent time sipping bottled water within lobby instead killing time that way instead Considering accommodation fee (Accommodation Fee), soft services seem inadequate compared against expectations
