    Everything was perfect.

    We visited during the Obon holidays, and the drive was not crowded at all. The Accommodation is in a great location, just a short walk to Irago Cape Lighthouse. Right in front is Koiji-ga-hama Beach, and we were able to relax at the Accommodation while enjoying the beautiful ocean view. The proprietress, the young proprietress, and all the staff were wonderfully pleasant and welcoming. We have stayed at many Ryokan and Hotels, but we think this place is the best. The food was also excellent, and we were completely satisfied with everything. We would like to take good care of the hibiscus we received on our way home—thank you very much. We would definitely like to visit again.

    My elderly mother was very satisfied.

    My mother and the proprietress were close in age, so we had a wonderful time chatting about old memories. They kindly provided a floor chair in our Japanese-style room for my mother, who has difficulty with her legs and back, which was very helpful. Unfortunately, we couldn’t see the moon, but we were able to relax while listening to the sound of the waves. We were very satisfied with the meals—everything was delicious. Thanks to this lovely Accommodation, the kind proprietress, and the cheerful senior proprietress, it became a truly memorable trip.

    Tokai Region’s No. 1 Review Ranking

    I had been interested because it was ranked No. 1 in the Tokai area Reviews on IKYU. It truly is an outstanding Accommodation, just as the Reviews said. The hospitality was exceptional. And the food was absolutely delicious. The bath is not an Onsen, but it has a great view, is very clean, and was wonderfully relaxing. My family and I are already talking about staying for two nights next time. To the wonderful proprietress—please stay well and healthy for many years to come!

    The staff at the Acc...

    The staff at the Accommodation provided wonderful service, and I was able to relax at a leisurely pace. The view from the window overlooked the ocean, and I never got tired of watching it. The bath was also very spacious, and I could soak comfortably. It would have been perfect if it had been an Onsen, but the meals were delicious as well, so this has become one of the places I’d like to visit again. Thank you very much.

    We had a relaxing stay.

    I was able to relax and unwind. I’d like to stay again. If I had one request, it would be to have a pair of thin-tipped chopsticks, as they would make it easier to remove bones from grilled or simmered fish.

    Just as the Reviews say, it’s excellent.

    This Accommodation offers a subtly stylish and luxurious space. The proprietress and the young proprietress were both wonderful, and our children had a great time as well. It is an impressive Ryokan, yet we were truly impressed by the warm, home-like hospitality. The meals were also very delicious. We rated the Onsen/bath 4 stars only, as unfortunately it is not an Onsen. Aside from that, it was the best Accommodation. Thank you very much.

    Relaxation and Comfort

    This was my second stay. Upon arrival, I was welcomed with tea and sweets, along with a delightful chat with the proprietress. And the view of the Pacific Ocean from the spacious Room... so soothing. The meals were also outstanding, and I enjoyed every dish—both my heart and stomach were completely satisfied. I had a wonderful time thanks to the same warm hospitality as always. Thank you very much.

    A luxurious accommodation for a relaxing stay.

    The cuisine, bath, location—everything was perfect. The hospitality of the accommodation staff was excellent, allowing us to enjoy a luxurious time. The room offered a view of the sea, and simply watching the passing ships was soothing. The night sky full of stars was also beautiful, making it an unforgettable and wonderful trip.     A Trip with My Wife Who Has Difficulty Walking

    Last summer, my wife was hospitalized with cellulitis and has since been unable to use shared baths during trips. Therefore, we can only stay in accommodations with private onsen facilities in the room. This time, we chose to stay at Tsuki no Nagisa because of its high Michelin rating and the belief that the baths would be clean. Thank you very much for your thoughtful attention to every detail. By the way... the cuisine was outstanding. It was incredibly delicious, with such craftsmanship and flavor that it left us deeply impressed. We enjoyed every single dish without leaving anything behind. My wife even mentioned after returning home that she would love to visit again within this year—she was truly satisfied!

    Thank you for the souvenir; my mother-in-law was very pleased with the gift. The traditional Japanese accessories were perfect for use during our trip. Additionally, we appreciated the guidance around the area, visiting places like the lighthouse and enjoying nature with newly emerged cicadas and swallowtail butterflies, which created wonderful memories. Above all, dinner was absolutely delicious. The Ise lobster and seafood were as fresh and flavorful as those from any luxury accommodation. The bath while listening to the sound of waves was also delightful. Even the melon we had during our drive to and from your accommodation was delicious. Thank you very much!

    The open-air bath mi...

    The open-air bath might be less impressive than it looks in the photos. The TVs in the guest room and bedroom were quite small and hard to see. The sashimi platter was luxurious.

    The sound of waves, the song of nightingales, and fresh local ingredients.

    I had tried spiny lobster before, but this incredibly fresh and plump spiny lobster was a first for me (I was a bit moved). The other dishes were also made with fresh local ingredients and prepared with great care, offering one main dish after another. Both breakfast and dinner were so delicious that I felt like I ate too much. The bath in the Room offered a liberating view of the ocean, and everything from the drinks to the fruits in the refrigerator was delightful. I enjoyed reading my favorite books in the Room, and at checkout, I even received a gift. The staff kindly saw me off, which made me wave back for the first time in decades. Thank you for creating such delicious meals and wonderful memories!

    I was very satisfied.

    The shared space right after entering the entrance has a wonderful atmosphere, and the view from there (the sea, passing ships, people on the beach) is stunning. From the moment I checked in, my excitement soared. The clean and comfortable Room, delicious dishes made with fresh seafood and mountain produce, attentive hospitality, and enjoyable conversations with the hostess made for a truly delightful stay. Next time, I hope to visit in a different season and see a sky full of stars. Thank you very much!

    The Jindai Sakura and Minobu Weeping Cherry Blossoms were in full bloom. We deeply appreciate the heartfelt hospitality of the proprietress, young proprietress, head chef, and all the staff at Tsuki no Nagisa. The next day's visit to Ise Shrine for the New Moon Ceremony was completed safely, and we returned home. Thank you for providing a phone charger. Also, thank you for the heartwarming postcard and the "Tree of Truth." We hope to visit again next year. Thank you very much!

    A Comfortable Stay

    A wonderful Ryokan located at the tip of Atsumi Peninsula, Cape Irago. Enjoy the open-air bath while gazing at the sea and listening to the sound of waves, savor delicious meals carefully and lovingly prepared... The hospitality from the proprietress and staff will leave both your heart and stomach completely satisfied. It has become one of those Ryokans you’ll want to visit again.     It was the best accommodation.

    The hospitality of the Ryokan staff, the clean and luxurious room, and the delicious meals were all incredibly satisfying. For our anniversary, we wanted to stay at a wonderful place but needed a room with an open-air bath due to mobility challenges that made bathing without assistance difficult. That’s when we found this accommodation. Inside the room, I moved around on foot, while using a wheelchair to get from the room to the dining area. The staff's thoughtful and attentive care was truly appreciated. The spacious bathroom in our room and the view from the balcony were spectacular. The soundscape (waves) was also very soothing. Talking with the proprietress was so much fun; we laughed so hard! Although it was just a short one-night stay, it felt like I had made a new friend despite our age difference. [About Accessibility] Bathroom (Hinoki Bath "Matsuyoi") - No handrails around the bathtub - A high-seated chair was provided in the shower room (possibly because I mentioned wheelchair use during reservation) Toilet: - Sliding door with Western-style toilet - Small handrail next to sink Room: - Slight step at entrance (less than 5 cm) - Tatami mat area had high-seated chairs provided (thank you!) - Bed height was low, making standing up difficult without assistance - No steps inside except for possibly a small one at balcony entrance Parking Lot: - Gravel surface caused wheelchair tires to occasionally get stuck but could be managed - Parking on the right side of accommodation allows easier access indoors without much gravel path Although this accommodation was an indulgence for us, we would love to visit again!
