    I was able to relax.

    I really enjoyed the daily folktales told by the storyteller and the calm atmosphere. The location was perfect for exploring the town on foot. I’d love to stay here again the next time I visit Iwate. Thank you very much. Next time, I’d like to look for the person who made the horse figurine displayed in the restaurant.

    We had a heartwarming stay.

    Conveniently located just a short walk from the station, at the foot of Nabekura Castle and next to the museum. Every dish was delicious and carefully prepared—truly heartfelt. I was surprised by the dessert, which felt like an afternoon tea. The simmered ganmo at breakfast was also excellent! The service was warm and attentive, and we enjoyed listening to a storyteller by the irori hearth. It warmed us to the core. If you’re visiting Tono, I highly recommend this Accommodation!

    Tono Hop Harvest Festival: A Beer-Lover's Journey

    Visited for the Tono Hop Harvest Festival. The accommodation is about a 7-minute walk straight from Tono Station. After leaving our luggage, it was just a 5-minute walk along the promenade to the festival venue. Despite the rainy weather, the hop harvest festival was lively and exciting. Enjoyed local craft beer and traditional dishes under a tent while listening to live jazz music—an amazing experience. Returned to the accommodation around 4 PM, refreshed with a shower, and then headed out to a local izakaya for some Genghis Khan barbecue and another drink. Returned before 9 PM to find everything quiet and peaceful. Slept soundly in a very quiet room until morning. The twin room was spacious and comfortable. Took an early bath at 6 AM while watching the rain outside again. Requested a taxi for an early departure before catching an 8 AM train from Tono Station; appreciated their courteous service even in the early hours of the morning. Breakfast featured a delicious buffet with locally sourced ingredients. Nearby attractions include Nanbu Shrine, museums, and Tono Monogatari Hall—worth visiting if you have extra time. The building is not overly luxurious but well-crafted with attention to detail, providing safe and comfortable accommodation for your stay.

    The Dreamy Aeria

    During my previous day trip to Tono, I wished to stay overnight, and I finally got the chance to stay at this long-awaited accommodation. The comfort exceeded my expectations, and both the meals and the room were excellent. The dessert at the end of dinner was served in an afternoon tea style, which made me ask if we could choose from a selection. The storyteller's talk was both entertaining and informative. I will definitely return next time!
