Hotel Kokusai 21 Nagano

I visited for the first time with my elderly parents. While the building itself seems old, it is well-maintained and clean, leaving no impression of being outdated or dirty, allowing us to have a pleasant stay. The Shuttle Service staff from the station were kind and attentive, and despite being busy, the front desk staff provided helpful assistance with local information and arranging taxis. The Room was on a high floor with a great view, which delighted my parents. Amenities like ReFa were provided in the bathroom, and the room was spacious enough to ensure excellent value for money. The breakfast buffet was not crowded, allowing us to enjoy a calm and delicious meal. The hotel is within walking distance of Zenkoji Temple, making it easy to stroll there while enjoying street food together as a family. If I had to mention one downside, it would be that noise from upstairs was bothersome at times—sounds of children running or jumping late at night continued for some time. While this is not directly an issue caused by Hotel staff, it might disturb light sleepers; perhaps some measures could be considered in the future.Although we stayed only one night, we created wonderful memories with my parents thanks to all the Hotel staff's efforts. I look forward to visiting again when traveling to Nagano! Thank you very much!

Due to an issue with the reserved room, we were upgraded to a higher-grade room. The stay was very pleasant and comfortable. One disappointing point, possibly due to the design, was that water from the shower in the shower room flowed all the way to the area in front of the sink, soaking bath mats and slippers. Since it was a suite room, this felt a bit unfortunate.
