Stasiun Nishioyama × Pemandian air panas × Fasilitas dan peralatan yang dinilai tinggi di Hotel·penginapan gaya Jepang

A luxurious Facility where extraordinary koi swim. We were able to enjoy a sand bath, a ceramic bath experience, and a private open-air bath at no additional charge. All staff were kind and provided attentive service. The Japanese cuisine served at the Yakusugi cedar counter was exquisite, with tropical fruits used throughout that were as beautiful to look at as they were delicious. The entire property was spotless and impeccably maintained, and the star-filled sky we gazed at late at night from the free-flowing natural hot spring open-air bath in our room was beyond words.

The welcome herbal water drink was delicious—absolutely amazing!! This is truly a tropical paradise, a Resort Hotel. The view from the ocean-view Room was breathtaking—it really felt like “time, please stop!” As we left the Hotel from the parking lot, a handsome front desk staff member waved goodbye, which left a wonderful impression. It was an excellent Hotel that made us want to come back.

My long-awaited trip to Ibusuki finally came true, and I had the pleasure of staying at Ibusuki Shusuien. Everything was outstanding: the warm and attentive service from the staff, the historic atmosphere of this long-established Ryokan, spotless guest rooms, free-flowing Onsen straight from the source, and delicious meals. (I’ve stayed at a few Hotels on my limited travels, but this became an unforgettable Ryokan for me.) It was so wonderful that I honestly wondered if someone as young as me deserved to stay at such a great Ryokan. My only regret is that I felt unwell during my stay and couldn’t finish my meal. (I truly feel terrible about it...) Please let me make up for it when I stay again...! I’m still savoring the afterglow of what was, even understatedly, an incredible stay—and I feel like other Hotels might pale in comparison (lol). It was truly a luxurious time. If you ever visit Ibusuki, please do yourself a favor and stay here. I’ll say it again: it’s amazing!

On the recommendation of an acquaintance who lives in Ibusuki, I stayed here in March and April this year. What stands out most about Ginsho is the delicious food! In addition to fresh local sashimi, the freshly fried Satsuma-age was exceptional. The seasoning was not too strong, and the portions were just right. The Onsen water quality was also excellent. I was able to relax and unwind.\n\nThe friendly and wonderful proprietress, whose warm personality truly shows in her smile, took great care of me. All of the staff were kind and provided very pleasant service. I will visit again soon. Thank you very much for everything!

The Room with a pool and open-air bath was wonderful, and the meals were delicious. We were lucky with the weather, so we could swim in the pool, warm up in the bath, enjoy dinner, then take another bath—truly relaxing. When we weren’t in the pool, we could unwind in a hammock and take it easy. They provided insect repellent spray and mosquito coils, so dealing with bugs wasn’t much of an issue. We enjoyed it when our child was little as well, but even now that they’re older, being able to spend time together made it truly meaningful. Since we stayed for two nights, we went out for lunch during the day, but I thought that if a lunch box could be delivered to the Room, we could have relaxed without going out. Still, the places we visited for lunch were delicious, so I took it positively as part of sightseeing in Ibusuki. I’d love to stay again whenever we want to relax.

The hotel has a sand bath, which was excellent. It is connected to the large public bath, making it very convenient and satisfying. The meals were also very delicious, so I was happy with that as well. However, there was a lingering odor in the toilet, and unless we kept the room’s sliding door closed, the smell would come in. This is something I would like to see improved.

We stayed here last year as well and were truly impressed by the wonderful view from the room. This time, we had a similar room again—the sunrise was beautiful, and the meals were delicious. We enjoyed our stay as a group of three: my 87-year-old mother, my daughter, and me. The sand bath was also nearby, so we used it. We would love to stay here again together.

A small Accommodation—very affordable. It was the only Reservation I made before setting off on a long trip. The Room was clean and more than sufficient for a solo traveler, and the Onsen was wonderful. I finally made it to Ibusuki, and the next day I was also able to reach the summit of Mt. Kaimon, which I’d been hoping to do for a long time. I’ll stay again.

First, the Facility is old. I didn’t feel like using the bath in the Room, but since there is a large public bath, it wasn’t an issue for me. It was my first time trying a sand bath; the staff were kind and even took photos for us. We booked a plan with two meals and all-you-can-drink, and the food was better than expected—I enjoyed plenty of shochu and was very satisfied. The foreign trainee staff were also diligent, and my friend who came with me was satisfied as well.

This was my first trip to Ibusuki, and I chose Tsukimisou after seeing great reviews. The owner and the proprietress welcomed us with such gentle, attentive hospitality. In the bath area, instead of the typical ryokan shampoo, they provided familiar drugstore-brand shampoo and conditioner. The women’s bath also had makeup remover and facial cleanser, which was very helpful—you can use the baths even if you come empty-handed. Dinner was exactly as praised in the reviews: everything was delicious and very filling, so I recommend arriving hungry. They also have a wide selection of local imo shochu (sweet potato shochu), including tasting sets, so you can enjoy Kagoshima’s local spirits. While serving our meal, the owner kindly answered our questions and even told us about places in Ibusuki associated with Tsuyoshi Nagabuchi—stories you can only hear from locals. Saraku (the famous sand bath) is just a few steps away on foot, so it’s easy to go early in the morning or at night as casually as going to the inn’s own bath. I hadn’t planned on trying a sand bath at first, but because it was so close, I was able to fit it into my schedule at the last minute. It was also convenient that the parking lot is right next door and covered, making it easy to get around even in rainy weather. I would definitely stay here again when visiting Ibusuki. Thank you very much.

The all-you-can-drink welcome drinks were fantastic. Draft beer, highballs, chuhai, and more. A variety of soft drinks is also available for children. It was a great way to unwind after a long drive. When you think of Ibusuki, you think of the sand bath. They also explain what to do afterward if you get sandy. You wear a special gown and the staff covers you with sand. The service was very courteous, and we were extremely satisfied. We will definitely visit again.

We enjoyed a peaceful lake, soothing birdsong, and time that felt like a world away from everyday life.

The building is designed so that you wear sandals to move between the front (dining area), guest rooms, and bath. Although it is an Unagi Onsen, the water is not slimy. Recently, the water temperature has been too low, so there is a silver mat for insulation in the bathtub, which you remove before entering. It may feel a bit lukewarm, but it warms the body very well. Overall, the cleaning is thorough, and you can feel the little touches of care from the property throughout, with a water server, hairdryer, and refrigerator placed in the hallway. The meal might look a bit insufficient, but with a rice refill, I was full. Since it is an old-fashioned building, you can hear the sound of doors opening and closing and footsteps in the hallway quite clearly. The shared toilets in the hallway, separated by gender, have one large, one small, and one washbasin inside when you open the door. If there are many guests, it might feel crowded or noisy, but this time there were only two groups on the second floor, so we could relax.
