I chose this accommodation for its beautiful sunsets, but I was also impressed by the comfort of the tatami in the room. The view of the light blue sea, sky, and horizon from the daybed by the window was stunning, allowing me to relax fully. What amazed me was that instead of

The portions, colors, nutritional balance, and preparation all reflected uncompromising care and sincerity. Each dish felt auspicious and filled with heartfelt effort; I was deeply moved by the happiness it brought me. Dining while overlooking the Sea of Japan was an unparalleled

Conveniently located right in front of the station. The Room was clean and comfortable. The lobby had a great atmosphere, and it was interesting that you can bring books from the neighboring library up to your Room to read (though it may not be something you use much on a short stay). The breakfast buffet was very well stocked—there was squid sashimi, local Yamagata dishes, and even ramen available to order, which felt quite luxurious. The roll cake dessert wasn’t a cheap petit-cake style one; it was genuinely tasty. The pudding also looked good, but unfortunately it seemed to sell out early before I could get some.

As mentioned in the Reviews, the owner was very friendly and easy to talk to, so we had a great time. We used points and got an excellent deal on our stay—great value for money. This is an Accommodation I’d love to stay at again with breakfast and dinner included when visiting

The Room was spacious, and the bed size was large, making for a comfortable stay. Compared to other Business Hotels, the bathroom was also larger and more relaxing. I signed up for breakfast after seeing the information provided, and the Japanese set meal allowed me to enjoy delicious local cuisine. The location was excellent and convenient for sightseeing.

From check-in through meals, one attendant took care of us throughout, and we were able to spend our time comfortably. The food was delicious, and we were very satisfied with the in-Room bath and the sauna as well. The sake tasting in the storehouse was also a lot of fun. We also

Set amid ever-changing rural scenery through the four seasons, the uniquely designed, cozy, and beautiful building made me feel pleasantly nostalgic. I was able to relax on the sofas and with the books in the lobby. The staff were friendly, and the Room was clean and functional. I thought it would be nice to have separate trash bins for sorting waste. If I have the chance, I’d like to stay again around spring rice-planting season. Overall, I was satisfied with my stay.

The sunset view from the bath was absolutely stunning. Displaying more photos of the sunset within the accommodation might be appreciated by guests. Even during this season, I stayed in a room on the pine side but could still enjoy a great view of the sunset. The open-air bath wa

During dinner, we were treated to a stunning sunset view that felt like an appetizer before the meal. The highlight of the cuisine was indulging in both grilled sea bream with salt and deep-fried whole sea bream—a truly luxurious experience. The friendly staff made our stay even

I stayed here before with friends and had a very good impression. Since the sea is right nearby, this time I came with my daughter and grandchild. After check-in we played at the beach; the sand was clean and the water was very clear. We safely enjoyed finding crabs and clams with my fourth-grade child. The Room was also clean, and the amenities were well provided, so we had a comfortable stay. The bath was a little hot for children, so it would have been even better if there were a warmer (lower-temperature) bath as well. I would like to stay again.

Our family of three, including our second-grade daughter, stayed here after a day at the beach. We really appreciated being able to use the washing machine and drying area. There’s a convenience store nearby, and Sunset Beach is just a short walk away—it was truly beautiful and moving. Kamo Aquarium is also close by, and it’s about a 40-minute drive to Dewa Sanzan, making the location very convenient. We were very satisfied with the meals as well, and would love to stay again.

The view from the window as soon as we opened the front door was absolutely stunning! We enjoyed a relaxing time with the morning scenery and a peaceful walk by the sea. The atmosphere of the Room and furniture perfectly matched our taste, making it an unforgettable trip. W

This was my first stay, and it offered far more freedom than a Business Hotel with No Meals Included. The sunset over the sea in the evening was amazing! I enjoyed a blissful time sipping freshly brewed drip coffee. Great value—100 out of 100.

We stayed here for our first family trip. Tendo was a wonderful place, and thanks to the Room and baths at Sakaeya Hotel, we had a very enjoyable trip. Thank you very much.
