I was able to stay for one night after being on the waitlist. As others have written, both the Onsen and the meals were wonderful. The Room was spacious and thoughtfully prepared, and the bed was large and very comfortable, so I was able to relax and unwind at a leisurely pace. Thank you very much. Next time, I would like a Multiple Night Stay.

Everything is clean throughout.\nThe indoor open-air bath is very convenient and comfortable.\nThe meals are excellent in both quality and quantity. The service is also very polite, with no issues.\nWe stayed with children, and it was a great help that they proactively offered to provide a baby crib and bouncer.\nI’m glad we found such a wonderful Accommodation for the first time in a while.

Both breakfast and dinner offer a wide selection, including meat, fish, tempura, noodles, salads—everything you could want. The food is delicious. There are many kinds of desserts, and you can also take them back to your Room to enjoy. The herbal tea was excellent. The staff’s friendly greetings were wonderful. It’s a Hotel that’s hard to book, so if you get the chance, definitely give it a try.

My wife and I visited from Kyoto. As it had not been long since the renovation, everything was very clean, and we had a comfortable one-night stay. The open-air bath in the guest room lets you fill it yourself—add cold water if it’s too hot, or add hot water if it’s too cool—so you can adjust the temperature to your liking. Both the hot and cold water flow were plentiful, making it a truly stress-free Onsen experience that’s hard to find. The meals were also excellent; each dish was thoughtfully prepared, and I felt the chef must be very talented. If I had to mention one minor complaint, it would have been perfect if we could have seen Mt. Aso clearly from the bath, but I understand that can’t always be helped.

We stayed here for a birthday celebration trip. They were very helpful even before our stay, and my partner was truly delighted. We were extremely satisfied with everything, including the food, the open-air bath in the Room, and the staff’s service. It was an Accommodation we would definitely like to stay at again.

Although we arrived a little late, the staff were very kind. The light meal at night was delicious, and the beef stew was tender. Breakfast was also great, especially the bread. Mobile reception is weak, but Wi-Fi is available. The private open-air bath was also wonderful.\nThank you very much.

We stayed in the Kids Terrace Room with our children during summer vacation. They were thrilled with the bunk beds and the tent. Best of all, the terrace connects directly to the lawn area, so we could relax on the terrace while watching them play. They enjoyed experiences that are hard to find in the city, like driving RC carts on the grass, feeding ponies, and playing with water guns. The meals were also excellent, with many dishes featuring local ingredients. The late-night tantan noodles and complimentary ice cream after a bath were wonderful touches. The Facility had been renovated and felt new inside, making our stay very comfortable. Even after returning home, our kids still say they want to stay again. We’d love to visit again when we have the chance.

The star-filled night sky was breathtaking, and the night trekking—something you rarely get to experience—was simply amazing. I was able to make irreplaceable memories with my 8-year-old daughter. Thank you so much.

It hadn’t been long since last month’s Kumamoto earthquake, and we weren’t sure if it was appropriate to travel, but we’re truly glad we came. Even my son, who doesn’t like fish, enjoyed the sea bream poêlé, and from the appetizers to dessert and breakfast the next morning, our whole family was very satisfied. Even after returning home, we keep reminiscing about the wonderful food and enjoying happy conversations. We would love to visit again.

Thank you very much for everything. Was it my first time staying at a pension in 40 years? We have stayed at many Ryokan and Hotels, but the meals here were outstanding. At our age we can’t eat large portions anymore (laugh), so having small amounts of truly delicious food was perfect for us. We were very satisfied with both dinner and breakfast—we even felt compelled to express our thanks from our side. The private bath exceeded our expectations, with everything prepared, even a body-washing towel. My husband, who is usually quite strict in his opinions, gave full marks for the food and said he would definitely like to return. We hope to visit again in autumn. Thank you as well for seeing us off when we left. Thanks to the warm hospitality of such a lovely couple, we departed feeling wonderful. Please take good care of your health and continue running this wonderful pension for many years to come. Thank you again. My husband loves golf more than anything—so next time, we would be delighted if he could chat about golf with the owner as well.

I stayed for one night with breakfast only, but I couldn’t arrange anything to eat for dinner and was starving. When I asked the owner, they immediately said they could prepare curry, which really moved me. They even included a salad and dessert, and it was all delicious. Thank you very much.

I was really looking forward to the opening of La Vista Minami Aso, and I stayed during the pre-opening period. The previous Hotel also had a great location with sweeping views of Mt. Aso, and while the scenery remains the same, the interior and Facility have been completely renewed. I was able to fully enjoy Aso in comfort, with a spacious lobby, Room, and baths. A few small points: For the welcome drink in the lobby after check-in, I had coffee, but it would be even better if beer (not only from 6:00 p.m.) or decaf coffee were available. As for meals, dinner was a La Vista-style course meal and breakfast was a buffet. Both used many ingredients from Kumamoto Prefecture, and everything was delicious. I would be happy if the breakfast buffet offered a wider variety of desserts. The baths were wonderful as well—there are great views of Aso from the large public bath, along with private baths and a sauna. The post-bath ice cream and massage chairs were also a nice touch. It was disappointing that in the morning bath time, the probiotic drinks (Yakult) ran out quickly. The late-night ramen service common to Kyoritsu Resort was delicious (if I may be picky, I’d love it even more if there were two varieties like at Kirishima). Since it was during the pre-opening period, there may have been some areas where staff were still getting used to things; however, their hard work really came through. Wishing you all success as you head toward the grand opening. I would definitely like to stay again.

The Japanese-style Room was spacious and clean, allowing us to relax and enjoy a comfortable stay. The Onsen was excellent—at first it felt a little mild, but after soaking for about 10 minutes, my body warmed up and I could truly unwind.

After check-in, we were informed that the Onsen at the affiliated Facility was still under renovation, so we received admission tickets to a nearby hot spring Facility and were able to enjoy Aso Onsen. In the morning, we had breakfast while taking in the magnificent panoramic views of Aso—it was a truly luxurious moment. Our grandchildren were very happy as well, and we’ll be back again next year!

About a 15-minute taxi ride from the nearest Miyaji Station, it’s accessible even without a car. The atmosphere is simply outstanding. Dining with the majestic Aso mountains and endless grasslands as your backdrop is truly irreplaceable. The Facility feels like a hotel restaurant in the American West. As it’s located on a ranch, there are plenty of horses on the premises, and of course you can also enjoy horseback riding experiences. With good weather, you should be able to catch the sunset sinking into the vast Aso landscape, a sky full of stars, and refreshing sunrise views with seas of clouds. There is also a large public bath. It’s a bit small, but it includes a dry sauna and cold plunge pool—perfect for unwinding while looking out over the Aso grasslands. It’s slightly disappointing that there’s no outdoor air-bath space (for safety reasons, the windows are kept fully closed), but you can still spot horses in the distance. Depending on the Plan, private time slots may be available as well, making it convenient for families.

Overall, everything was excellent. The best part was the service during meals. They were very attentive in many ways, which I really appreciated. I would like to stay here again.

A few days ago, I stayed at a Marriott in another location, and the room layout and design were exactly the same. It was easy to figure out things like the light switches right away. As with my previous stay, both the lobby and room were clean this time as well. Since it was a slightly chilly day and my body felt cold, I did notice that there was only a shower booth available.

The retro design created a great atmosphere. The property was well-maintained, and I enjoyed my stay with care. Since I couldn't afford an expensive Hotel, the affordable price left no complaints.

We stayed here for a Multiple Night Stay about a week ago. The Room was the perfect size for two, with simple yet refined interiors and a very clean feel. The bath was made of wood, so we were able to enjoy a relaxing and wonderful soak without even going to an Onsen. Since our Room had a kitchen, we cooked and ate ingredients we bought at a roadside station. In the beautifully maintained garden with great views, there were benches and tables, so we had breakfast there and truly enjoyed it while feeling close to nature—it was very satisfying. At night, we could also gaze at Aso’s quiet, beautiful starry sky. What made our stay even better was how wonderful the owner is as a person. They were genuinely kind and thoughtfully suggested travel plans in Kumamoto and Miyazaki tailored to us. They also introduced us to truly delicious restaurants and lovely places that you can’t find in guidebooks or on Instagram. (Actually, during our trip in Aso I lost my engagement ring, and because on the last day we returned to Aso after visiting Takachiho Gorge, we were able to go to the recommended bakery and Oshitoishi Hill—and miraculously, I found my engagement ring!) The rice balls made from their carefully selected rice were also exceptional. Thank you for giving us such wonderful memories in Aso. We would love to stay again!

The building itself feels a bit old, but it is clean and there were no inconveniences at all. The staff are friendly, making for a very pleasant stay. The parking lot is free and spacious, suitable for any type of vehicle. Above all, the location is excellent—perfect for sightseeing around Aso! A great Hotel you’ll definitely want to return to.
