We had a truly wonderful stay. It rained during our visit, but the sight of the wet rocks and crashing waves was powerful in its own way, so we still really enjoyed it. The in-room hot spring bath felt amazing and left my body feeling refreshed. They also replace the towels, so it was great to be able to soak as many times as we wanted without hesitation. The herbal tea was delicious too—I ended up having seconds. We were satisfied with every dish. We also loved being able to order original cocktails at dinner (they can be made non-alcoholic). Everything was excellent, but we were especially impressed by the sashimi and the robatayaki wagyu beef—absolutely outstanding! Above all, we felt that every staff member we met provided exceptional hospitality. We would definitely love to stay again. Thank you very much for everything.

We visited to enjoy a family vacation. THE HOUSE has wonderful taste. From the moment we stepped inside, we fell in love with the ocean view stretching across the entire window. We were also captivated by the sight of Mt. Fuji glowing in the sunset, and couldn’t stop taking photos. There was an original photo book casually placed there, and when we opened it, inspiring words appeared, which conveyed the lovely thoughts behind this place when it was built. Since it was Golden Week, Aburatsubo and Misaki Port were crowded, but coming back felt like returning to a secluded private villa where we could truly rest and enjoy the quiet. Also, at a Hotel or Ryokan you can feel slightly rushed about breakfast times, so it was great to spend relaxed “THE HOUSE time” without that. Our dog could also stretch out and seemed very happy. We stayed here a few years ago and returned because of the outstanding, one-of-a-kind location right above the sea. We’ve used several properties in THE HOUSE series, and this one has the most impressive sense of closeness to the ocean. It’s a short walk from the parking area, but that actually adds to the special feel. The only disappointment was that both the red and white shabu-shabu broths at dinner were spicy. At our home, shabu-shabu isn’t something we associate with spicy flavors, and we chose a meal-included Plan because shabu-shabu is usually something children can eat as well. Since neither of us adults can handle spicy food either, once we realized both broths were spicy, we rushed to a convenience store to buy a non-spicy hot pot soup base... I imagine families with children may stay here too, so it would be helpful if the meal description clearly stated when only spicy options are provided. That said, both the meat and vegetables were very delicious.

I chose this hotel because I was drawn to its unique concept of embracing the whole town. By making great use of the compact townscape, it offers a stay you can’t experience anywhere else, which truly impressed me. The staff member who guided us around the parking area and facilities after check-in was genuinely warm and welcoming, providing wonderful service. It was an excellent hotel that made me want to return. Thank you very much.

A perfect stay where you can feel the sea of Miura Moriso up close. All rooms offer ocean views, showcasing stunning morning and evening scenery that provided constant relaxation throughout our stay. While there are many pet-friendly accommodations, this one stands out for its cleanliness, allowing us to enjoy a worry-free time with our beloved dog. The well-equipped kitchen and amenities make it ideal for stays with close friends as well. At around 30,000 yen per person for this quality, the satisfaction level is incredibly high, and it’s a villa we’d love to visit again in another season. There’s also a meeting room with a whiteboard, making it suitable for small corporate retreats or workshops.

We stayed here for the first time with our beloved dog, who will be turning 16 soon. All of the staff were very kind and pleasant. As the reviews said, both dinner and breakfast were luxurious and delicious, and we were very satisfied. Everything was kept very clean. The entrance decorations were adorable, and we were so happy to see our dog’s name written on a board. We will definitely be back!

We stayed as a family—my father, my husband, and our 1-year-old daughter. As other reviews mentioned, there were quite a few people on the beach right in front from early morning, but everyone was quietly enjoying fishing, so we didn’t notice any noise at all. Since it said swimsuits were required, I was nervous that the deck might be visible from outside, but it wasn’t visible at all—so we could enjoy the jacuzzi and BBQ without worrying about being seen! (If you stand on the edge of the jacuzzi you can make eye contact with people outside, so swimsuits are definitely necessary.) There were plenty of towels, and the meals prepared for us were wonderful. My father has a taste disorder due to aftereffects of an illness and said he might not be able to enjoy the food, but he was truly moved by how deliciously everything was seasoned. It ended up being a really meaningful trip for him. Because the bedroom on the 3rd floor is a private room, we could sleep with peace of mind without worrying about our child wandering off. We were very satisfied with both comfort and layout. We also heard pets are allowed; as parents, we thought it would be even better if there were a gate to prevent children (or dogs) from going up and down the stairs freely. Also, we felt uneasy that the cabinet where cups are stored in the kitchen doesn’t have a door. Our child kept trying to grab and throw them—it made us very nervous… Since pet hair may also circulate in the air at times, we’d really appreciate it if this cabinet could be closed with doors. The interior design was beautiful—our daughter (who is just starting to talk) kept saying “Wow!” with sparkling eyes throughout our stay. We felt very happy. There were an incredible number of seabirds flying around, and we couldn’t help thinking how hard daily cleaning must be. We were impressed by how much effort is clearly put into keeping both indoors and outdoors so clean. There were various insect sprays provided and notes about insects; aside from seeing quite a few mosquitoes, we didn’t encounter any bugs. The sunset and Mt. Fuji view from the property were absolutely breathtaking!! The staff also responded quickly via SMS, which made us feel safe and comfortable during our stay. One issue we had: when we entered the address listed on Ikkyu into our car navigation system exactly as shown, we couldn’t find the place. We ended up driving around near the port for quite some time… (We could reach it using the address on your official website—but because your renewed site’s address page was hard to find quickly in that moment, I panicked a bit.)

This is a Hotel we’ve stayed at several times. This was our first visit since the dog run was renovated. We made a Reservation under a very good-value Plan, but we were told the listed price was incorrect. At checkout, we paid an additional charge for one more person. On the day, another party apparently canceled, so it felt like we had the place to ourselves! Thanks to that, we were able to relax and take it easy. We also heard the head chef has changed, and the meals—especially breakfast—were upgraded and delicious. The only disappointment was that a staff member who always adored our dog (and whom our dog loved) had left last year. They are still featured in staff introductions on Instagram, so I assumed they were still at Aburatsubo. Since we were looking forward to seeing them again, both my husband and I were shocked. To avoid misunderstandings like this, it might be better to remove Instagram posts featuring staff who have left. I was worried whether our dog would like the renovated dog run, but they seemed to love it and played happily. Fortunately, another staff member is still at Aburatsubo and gave our dog lots of attention during our stay as well, which made us very happy. It’s close by within the prefecture, so we’re thinking of visiting again during the summer season.

We used this place for a friend’s birthday party. It’s a Facility so well stocked that you’ll wonder, “Do they really have this much?” The owner must be a serious camping enthusiast—there was an impressive selection of outdoor gear, and even the variety of seasonings was surprisingly extensive. Right in front of you is the ocean, plus there’s a huge pool and BBQ equipment, so you can have plenty of fun just spending time outside. At the same time, the indoor space is extremely comfortable, and with great-sounding speakers we enjoyed VOD and music videos—there was never a dull moment even into the night. Pets are welcome as well, making it ideal not only for groups of friends but also for gatherings with multiple families. We stayed on the special occasion of our friend’s birthday, and we were able to relax together and make wonderful memories. It’s a Facility we’d definitely like to book again with a larger group.
