Di sekitar Pemandian Luar Ruangan Sungai Barat × Kamar dan fasilitas yang dinilai tinggi di Hotel·penginapan gaya Jepang - 2Halaman 目

We stayed in two Rooms with a total of seven people—my daughter’s family and my son. We have stayed here before, and it remains a favorite because we can truly relax, and both dinner and breakfast are served in private dining rooms so we can enjoy our meals at a leisurely pace. The grandchildren enjoyed not only the Onsen but also the pool, and they even wrote in their summer vacation diary that they want to come again. The staff also left a very positive impression with their courteous service.

This was our second stay, the first in two years. The buffet offered a wide variety of dishes, including local specialties unique to the area. Both the buffet staff and the front desk staff were very kind and attentive, which made our stay truly comfortable. In particular, the buffet staff explained things in a way that was easy for our child to understand and spoke to us in a friendly manner, which we really appreciated. When we stay in Kusatsu again, we would love to choose this Accommodation. Thank you very much.

It was within walking distance of Yubatake, and the meals offered a wide variety and were delicious. The Room was so spacious it almost felt like too much, but I was able to relax very comfortably. The open-air bath in the Room wasn’t very private despite being “open-air,” as it could be seen from outside, so I ended up having to lower the blinds, which reduced the sense of openness. Still, it was much better than an indoor bath. There was also a large public Onsen bath, so I could fully enjoy the Onsen there as well.

This was our first time staying here. We made a Reservation with a very good-value Plan, but one person suddenly couldn’t make it. When we informed the staff, they handled it very flexibly, which truly helped us. It was our daughter’s birthday, and they also arranged a birthday cake separately. The staff and other guests offered congratulatory words as well, and our daughter was delighted. The meals included some items prepared in advance, but the Joshu beef sukiyaki and fresh sashimi were especially delicious. Rice, miso soup, dessert, and drinks were served buffet-style, so we could enjoy seconds without hesitation—this was excellent. The Room was very spacious; the tatami mats looked newly replaced, there were no areas that concerned us in terms of cleanliness, and we stayed comfortable throughout. Needless to say, the large public bath had wonderful water quality. There was also a cooler “refreshing bath” available only in summer at a lower temperature, which made it comfortable for the children too. All employees were kind and helpful. Above all, it left an impression to see energetic senior staff cheerfully greeting guests while pushing large carts. Everyone worked so efficiently that it gave us energy as well. I’m sure there are various Reviews out there, but for our family this has definitely become a place of wonderful memories—thank you very much! Also, the flowers were properly arranged with fresh blooms; I admired how well they are maintained despite how much work that must be. Next time we’d love to return with the person who couldn’t come this time as well.

We checked in early and enjoyed the Onsen before dinner. The perfectly comfortable Onsen temperature was wonderful! Drinks after the bath were also great! There was a wide variety at the dinner buffet, but we were so full that we couldn’t try everything. Breakfast also had a great selection and was delicious. One thing to mention: it was disappointing that there was hardly any hot water from the faucet in our Room. We could see the Yubatake lit up at night from our Room. We actually wanted to take a walk to the Yubatake right in front of us, but it started raining and we couldn’t go, which was a shame. The exterior of the building showed its age, but choosing Daitokan was absolutely the right decision. We’d like to stay again. Thank you very much.

The staff were very courteous, and I had a comfortable stay. All of the meals were delicious, and I was very satisfied! I will stay again.

I was able to stay in a private room at an affordable price. The building isn’t new, but you can enjoy a retro Showa-era vibe. The bath felt like it was all to myself, and it’s close to Yubatake!

I have stayed at accommodations in the Naraya Group many times. I choose them because they offer room-only plans, some properties have in-room hot spring baths (not in every room), and they are relatively new. For dinner, I have a few favorite restaurants, but I also enjoy trying different places each time. “Yukawa Terrace” is in a great location—just a few minutes’ walk from Yubatake—and there are plenty of restaurants and souvenir shops nearby, which is very convenient. The hot spring water in the room is excellent quality. I come to Kusatsu for this water, so I was very satisfied. I park at the Yubatake Tourist Parking Lot and walk close to 10 minutes while pulling my suitcase, but it’s not too difficult (though it may get tougher as I get older). I want the coffee machine from the room! Haha. There are no skincare amenities such as lotion or cream, so please be sure to bring your own. I will visit again.

Everything was spotless, and the meals were very healthy and delicious—I was impressed right down to the final cup of coffee. The bath was at just the right temperature, and I could reserve it for private use and enjoy it many times. It’s a very clean bath. The owner is kind and very easy to talk to. Quiet, comfortable, and excellent value for money—highly recommended.

The only downside was that it’s a bit far from Yubatake, but otherwise our stay was truly comfortable and satisfying. In any case, the interior is spacious, clean, and stylish. There are two types of baths plus a sauna, and there’s even a projector in the living room—our kids had a great time. It’s a Room that made us think, “We want to live in a place like this!” We’d love to stay again someday!

I stayed here this time because I wanted to relax in the Onsen. The large public bath fed by the Shirahata source was especially wonderful. The private bath with Yubatake water was hot, but I could take my time and unwind at my own pace, enjoying it while opening the window to cool off. I had seen in other Reviews that dinner is plentiful, so I held back from trying street food while exploring the area. As rumored, I was very satisfied with both the portion size and the taste. While I was dining, they prepared my futon and also thoughtfully replaced items like teacups and provided iced water—coming back from the Onsen to a refreshing drink of water was truly delightful. Stylish Accommodations such as Resort Hotels are popular these days, but this stay reminded me that a Japanese Ryokan feels most relaxing for Japanese guests. Thank you for a wonderful memory.

This Accommodation has only five Rooms, yet it has two private baths, and you can use them anytime if they are available. I used them four times. The hot water was excellent. It’s a 4-minute walk to Yubatake, but there are many slopes, so it was great to relax in the Accommodation’s private baths. There is also a convenience store nearby. The breakfast was generous and delicious! All the staff were very kind.

At the moment, they are accepting only one booking per day, and this was my first stay at a temple lodging. The bath (hot spring) is essentially private, so within the designated hours I could soak as many times as I wanted. I didn’t have to worry about anyone else and was able to relax and enjoy the hot spring at my own pace. They also currently provide a café space (tea, coffee, assorted snacks, bottled water) and a theater space (unlimited U-NEXT for TV titles). These are free of charge, and I could feel the head priest’s heartfelt hospitality throughout. They even warmed the hallway with a heater in the morning so it wouldn’t be cold—thank you very much for your thoughtful care in ways that aren’t immediately visible. Hotels and ryokan are great too, but having exclusive use of such a quiet temple lodging was wonderful—an experience that’s hard to find. I was able to soak in the hot spring as much as I liked, sleep soundly on fluffy futons, and truly recharge. I would love to stay again; thank you in advance for your continued kindness. Since there were no photos of the theater space or café space, I uploaded some photos in case they may be helpful. (If this is not allowed for any reason, I will remove or revise them immediately.)

I only met the staff at check-in; after that, I didn’t really see anyone, and check-out is simple—just drop the key in the box. The Room was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. However, be careful with the bath water—it’s extremely hot (maybe around 50°C). It takes time to cool it down with the shower, so it’s not ideal if multiple people need to use the bath one after another.

I stayed here for one night on the second night of my five-night solo trip to Kusatsu Onsen from Fukuoka, and I’m glad I was able to get a Reservation. I had heard that Kusatsu Onsen has various types of spring water, so I chose this Ryokan because it has a great reputation for its water quality and allows solo guests to enjoy the Onsen. Just as expected, the Onsen was truly wonderful, and I enjoyed soaking many times. I also visited several public baths—hot, tingling springs like Jizo-no-Yu felt great—but Gokurakukan’s comfortably warm Onsen was perfect for a long soak. It’s also recommended for those who don’t like very hot water. Towels were available in the Room as well as in the changing area by the bath, which was very convenient. Another nice point was being able to go to the Onsen without passing through the front desk, making it easy even early in the morning. The Room was clean, and the toilet was exceptionally spotless. I was happy to find Matsumura manju served with tea snacks. The free breakfast was delicious—the bread was wonderfully chewy. I also had dinner at the restaurant on the second floor; both the curry doria and carrot salad were excellent. At check-out, the owner and staff kindly gave me detailed sightseeing tips around Kusatsu. Thanks to them, I learned about Jigokudani Monkey Park in Nagano Prefecture and went there using car sharing. After waiting about 30 minutes, I was lucky enough to see monkeys soaking in an Onsen—it was amazing. The next day, I used car sharing again and enjoyed Ikaho’s hot spring buns and Mizusawa udon as well. It became a truly memorable solo trip. The hospitality was warm and welcoming, and next time I’d love to stay with my family—thank you very much.

It was worth extending our trip from Karuizawa to Kusatsu Onsen just to visit Kimuraya. We truly enjoyed a relaxing time, and the Shirahata no Yu with its free-flowing Onsen water was so smooth it felt like it embraced the body. Even my husband, who isn’t particularly fond of hot springs, seemed to appreciate its charm and went in multiple times. The staff members were all wonderful as well.

Stayed in summer. We were able to relax, and it would be perfect if there were a fan in the changing room.

The renovated traditional building offers a modern Japanese-style Ryokan with friendly and helpful staff. The Onsen is available as a private bath, and you can use it anytime if it's vacant. There are three baths, each supposedly at different temperatures, but they all seemed to be the same temperature and quite hot. The much-talked-about breakfast was also delicious.

With check-in at 2:00 PM, this Hotel is recommended if you arrive in Kusatsu early and want to sightsee around Yubatake first. However, it’s hard to tell from the map, but walking from the Hotel to the downtown area where Yubatake is located requires going up and down a very steep hill. It’s about a 10-minute walk one way, but the uphill stretch is quite tough. The in-house Facility, public bath, and Room had been renovated and were clean and comfortable, but I was unlucky with my Room—the sound of rain hitting the Facility roof outside the window was loud and made it hard to sleep—so I rated the guest room two stars lower and overall satisfaction one point lower.

I’m a returning guest. Following last year, I stayed again this year for a workcation. The kind couple made our stay wonderful, and our dog was very happy too. I hope to come back again next year. Thank you very much for everything!
