The long-awaited Akayu getaway. We were worried because of the heavy rain, but from the moment we arrived, the warm hospitality made our time together—my mother and I—truly peaceful and relaxing. The meals were beautifully prepared, a delight for all five senses, with gentle flavors. Above all, thanks to the heartfelt care of the staff, we were able to spend a truly memorable time. The Akayu hot spring soothed both body and mind—it was wonderful. This is a Ryokan we would love to visit again. Thank you very much.

Thank you for taking care of us during our Multiple Night Stay. I was once again impressed to see the owner leading the way and working hard from early in the morning. The soba was truly delicious, and I was disappointed that I couldn’t have it for dinner on the second night. To the person who kindly accommodated my request as someone who likes sweet alcoholic drinks, I was really looking forward to enjoying them on the second night. The freshly cooked rice was wonderful! The soy sauce with an egg-like flavor is becoming a staple in our home. This is an Accommodation we’re excited to visit again. Thank you very much.

I was impressed by the staff’s drive to improve. I was especially amazed by the chef’s thorough attention to detail—even down to the choice of serving dishes. I was also struck by the president’s wonderful spirit when I previously stayed at Takinami, and it’s simply incredible that an even more upgraded Accommodation has been created. I would love to visit again and enjoy your outstanding, carefully crafted cuisine. Thank you very much.

Both the indoor bath and the bath in our Room were fed directly from the source, and we were able to relax and fully enjoy the free-flowing hot spring water while taking in the gentle scent of sulfur—it was incredibly soothing for both body and mind. The atmosphere of the Accommodation was wonderful, and we truly enjoyed every aspect of this long-established Onsen inn. All of the dishes were delicious. In particular, the Yonezawa beef nigiri we had at dinner was so exceptional that we ended up ordering more. We were also impressed by how kind and attentive all of the staff were. The meat served with our meal was so good that when we asked for a recommended local butcher shop, they kindly gave us detailed information—thanks to them, we were able to stop by on our way home and buy some as souvenirs!

I visited with a friend who loves traveling. This was my third stay, and as always, the food was excellent, and the Onsen was amazing. My friend, visiting for the first time, also enjoyed it and went to the bath twice. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Found a serene snow-view accommodation. While not new or flashy, the facility was clean and the complex structure felt like exploring a corridor, which was enjoyable. The onsen had a sulfur aroma with hot water that warmed me thoroughly. The meals were delicious, and the st

The Room comes with a semi-open-air bath, and I could soak as many times as I wanted at any time, so it was amazing! With only five Rooms in total, there were few people even at the open-air bath, and I was able to relax. The Onsen water is clear, but it has a strong sulfur scent, and it left my skin feeling silky smooth. I’d love to visit again if I get the chance!

We stayed here to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary, traveling with my spouse, our dog, and my mother. It had been about 10 years since our last visit, and I’m truly glad we came back. At check-in, they had prepared a special anniversary surprise for us, which was very moving. The front desk staff were all so friendly and welcoming that it made us feel genuinely warm inside. At dinner, we also received congratulations from the proprietress; we felt humbled but very happy. The Onsen is available at all times except during the men’s/women’s rotation, and the water quality is excellent—leaving us warm all over with smooth skin. Both dinner and breakfast were generous in portion size, and we were fully satisfied to enjoy delicious Yonezawa beef and freshly pounded mochi. Our Room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. By chance there was a fireworks festival that day, and we were lucky enough to watch it from our Room. The service floor has a microwave as well, which was helpful for warming up our dog’s meals. We also appreciated being able to relax in the lobby with a good cup of coffee on departure morning. At check-out we enjoyed chatting with the front desk staff again, and they saw us off with smiles until the very end. My mother—who hadn’t traveled in quite some time—was delighted too, so choosing this Accommodation was absolutely the right decision for us. Thank you very much. We would love to return again.

The hot spring water is simply wonderful. I soaked in the Onsen at night and again in the morning, and was amazed at how smooth my skin felt. The Accommodation staff were kind and supportive, offering helpful advice and speaking gently to our children, which made us feel truly welcomed. Dinner hot pot came with more meat than we could finish. The menu featured many local specialties, which adults enjoyed, though some dishes seemed a bit challenging for children. The Facility has a sense of history, but it is fully air-conditioned, so we stayed comfortably cool.

The cheerful greetings from the Accommodation staff made for a wonderfully pleasant welcome. The biggest highlight was the two types of free-flowing open-air Onsen baths! By alternating between the deep low-temperature and high-temperature baths, even I—who tends to overheat easily—was able to soak for a long time and fully enjoy the Onsen. I highly recommend trying it. It would be even better if there were welcome drinks or coffee available. Just as the Accommodation name suggests, there was a lucky bell on the chopstick sleeve—a thoughtful touch that made me happy.
