They said it was very comfortable, and the Onsen was relaxing.

We enjoyed so many delicious dishes. The large fish collar was something I had never seen before, and the sashimi boat platter was gorgeous. Everything was tasty, but we couldn’t finish it all, and I felt sorry about that. If I could do it over, I would skip the hot pot and switch to nigiri sushi. We went with our two teenage sons with big appetites, so we thought we could manage it, but we still gave up… The baths were always available whenever we wanted to go, so we could bathe smoothly in the evening, at night, and in the morning. This is an Accommodation I would recommend. Thank you very much.

The seafood-focused dishes were truly delicious. I was able to fully enjoy the professional craftsmanship, from the delicate seasoning to the careful attention paid even to the temperature of the tableware. The Facility is old, but it is thoroughly cleaned, and you can enjoy a charming Showa-era retro atmosphere. The bedding was also fluffy and thick, and I was able to sleep soundly. I would love to celebrate my birthday here again next year.

I heard that a colleague from work was staying here, so I decided to stay as well with a separate reservation. From check-in to breakfast and departure, the staff were very pleasant, and the stay was comfortable. We opted for a plan with breakfast included, and the freshly cooked rice and side dishes made for an excellent meal. Since there are few dining options in Fukudamura, staying with a dinner barbecue plan also seems like it would be enjoyable.

The coastal route to the Accommodation is refreshing, and once you arrive, the beach is right behind it—perfect for summer. I stayed with my daughter and her husband, my husband, and one dog. When we entered the Room, the aroma scent was pleasant, and it felt fresh watching TV on a projector. Sleeping with two sets of futons laid out in the Japanese-style room felt a bit cramped, but the bed was spacious and comfortable. It had been a while since I’d taken a walk along a sandy beach, and it was our dog’s first time—there were nonstop laughs, making it a fun trip full of great memories. I’d like to stay again.

We stayed here for a birthday trip to Shikoku! The moment we arrived, we were blown away by the view. Being able to enjoy that scenery in our own private space was truly bliss. We were lucky with the weather, and the sunset, starry sky, and sunrise—every time of day—were the best views we’ve ever seen! The Room was also very stylish and spotless, and it made us want to stay forever. We chose a meal-included Plan where everything is placed in the fridge/freezer. Dinner had a very fresh and delicious salad, but the rest felt more like bento-box quality. Breakfast looked exactly like the photos—so stylish—and having it with that view felt like a dream! The soup and bagel were delicious as well. For this price, this space offers incredible value—we’re extremely satisfied! We definitely want to come back again! Thank you for an unforgettable memory.

We planned this trip to visit a restaurant that is only open on weekends and public holidays. While looking for a nearby Ryokan, we noticed the radon bath and “Arashi no Yu,” and decided to stay here. We made a Reservation for three adults on the standard course. Dinner was generous, with simmered local fish, grilled dishes, tempura, and more. The simmered flounder was especially delicious with white rice. Breakfast was also classic Japanese—grilled fish, vinegared dishes, kinpira, and more. The white rice paired perfectly with everything. “Arashi no Yu” is different from both a stone spa and a sauna. Lying down on the floor covered with small stones made us sweat heavily; sweat poured out from our pores and left our skin smooth. Unlike a typical stone spa, the pebbles provide comfortable cushioning so you can lie down easily. In the radon bath area, the bathing room and tub are separated so the steam collects around the tub. We kept sweating even while soaking, and even after getting out we stayed warm for a long time. Both “Arashi no Yu” and the radon bath can make you feel very tired at first, but we slept deeply until morning and enjoyed truly restful sleep. Smooth skin, warm body, refreshed awakening—our fatigue melted away. It felt like toxins were released along with the sweat! The proprietress recommended karaoke after dinner; singing on a stage with full sound equipment was great fun. The staff’s thoughtful attention to detail was excellent throughout. This is a Ryokan we would love to stay at again next time. The restaurant we came for was 5 minutes away by car; we were able to get an early number ticket and enjoy lunch without any trouble.

We stayed for one night with four guests. The place was spotless and comfortable, with the latest Facility fully equipped. All the essential seasonings were provided (vinegar was available too, although it wasn’t listed!), and the loungewear was extremely comfortable. Unfortunately it was cloudy, but on a clear day you can enjoy the sunset from the rooftop while taking in views of the ocean and Mt. Fuji. Since it’s a three-story house, going up and down the stairs does take some effort, but the location is excellent—an amazing home we’d love to stay at again.

There is a unique sense of comfort here. After staying multiple times, it truly feels like our own private villa. The view is stunning and quite rare to find elsewhere. Watching the sunset over the ocean while spending time freely without being bound by schedules is an exceptional experience, and the cleanliness of the accommodation stands out as one of its best features. Cooking utensils and tableware are also abundantly provided. Our dog seems to enjoy it immensely as well, running around on the terrace and in the dog run, then sleeping peacefully on the bed (as dogs often feel uneasy outside their home). A multiple night stay is highly recommended. Next time, we plan to stay for 3–4 days.

The Room I stayed in was very clean! The brochures on the desk were neatly arranged, and the bathroom was also spotless! It felt great when I entered the Room. Also, the shared kitchen was nice.

This Hotel is located at the top of a narrow mountain road. It was very quiet, and the soothing music playing throughout the Hotel made it even more relaxing. Unfortunately, it was cloudy, but if there hadn’t been any fog, we would have been able to see the horizon from our Room and enjoy an even more wonderful view. 　The meals were carefully prepared, and both the fish and roast beef were served with vegetables that paired perfectly with each dish—everything was delicious. The dessert was a yogurt mousse (I’m not sure if that’s correct), but it was excellent. We stayed as a family of four, including our son in his 20s, and everyone left feeling full—though we did ask for extra bread. 　We were told they host only three groups per day, and we were able to use the spacious private family bath as well. It was a stay that freed us from everyday busyness and truly felt like an escape. 　The interior furnishings throughout the Hotel were also thoughtfully arranged and had an elegant feel. 　If we have the chance, we would love to visit again. This was my first visit to Zamami Island.\n\nI believe the island’s charm lies in its stunning Kerama Blue sea and the simple, unspoiled feel of a village that has not been overly developed as a resort. While many Accommodations here are older, guesthouse-style places, this Hotel was stylish and very clean.\n\nI had seen some Reviews saying the Room was small, but it had calm, blue-toned interiors that felt relaxing, and we could also see the harbor from the window. Despite the listed square meters, there was a comfortable layout with a spacious bathroom as well, so it did not feel cramped at all.\n\nThey also provided Shuttle Service to the port (thank you so much—we had a lot of luggage), and all staff were very kind. I also appreciated being able to take a hot shower even after checkout, which allowed us to fully enjoy the beach until departure.\n\nDue to ferry cancellations we could only stay one night, but I think it would be perfect for a Multiple Night Stay to relax and take things slow.\n\nThank you very much.

This was my first stay. The Room was very clean and comfortable, which made it a great place to relax. I also enjoyed the BBQ dinner, as I could eat at my own pace. I recommend it because you can spend your time here slowly and peacefully.

I made a reservation to celebrate my husband's birthday. It happened to be the day of the fireworks festival. The spacious area was comfortable, and we created unforgettable memories with our family. The layout and furnishings were impeccably stylish—everything was perfect. It ranks among the best villas I’ve ever stayed in. They also responded to my questions very quickly, and I’d definitely love to stay again. However, perhaps because it’s close to the mountains or due to the season, it was a shame that the deck and terrace were full of insects at night. I also couldn’t use the open-air jacuzzi on the second floor at night. I understand it can’t be helped, though... Even so, it was such an amazing escape from everyday life that I still want to come back!

This was my first stay here, and I was satisfied with everything. Since I came after Tamagawa Onsen, I was especially delighted with the meals. I had originally planned to stay two nights, but after watching YouTube, I felt the food there seemed to decline over time, so I changed my mind and canceled one night to try a designer Hotel in Osawa Onsen for a tuna-cutting show. However, I regretted it—it was too late afterward. This place is excellent. Thank you very much for your hospitality; it became a wonderful memory.

This is a Hotel where you can truly experience Aso! The five peaks of Aso seen from the 7th-floor panoramic bath were amazing. Being able to enjoy the Onsen while looking at the beautiful mountains was the best. As mentioned in other Reviews, the initial explanation at the front desk felt brief, but they provided the minimum necessary information, so it wasn’t a problem. Our Room faced the town side, but it had a nice view of the outer rim mountains.

The timing for clearing the dishes was very poor. Although I had informed you of my buckwheat allergy, it was very disappointing that you still tried to serve buckwheat. The food was very delicious and excellent. Thank you very much.

In 2025, I visited Okinawa four times and stayed at different condo vacation rentals each time. However, my stay at Doka Doka was the best, so I decided to return here for my year-end visit. During this second stay, I noticed various thoughtful touches from the perspective of guests that I hadn't realized during my first visit. It made me feel that this place is the perfect choice for future stays. While many "Instagrammable Rooms" are introduced all over Okinawa, I've often felt they lack consideration for actual guest needs when staying there. This includes kitchen facilities, cooking utensils, bathrooms, or even how doors open and close—small details but noticeable nonetheless. It seems like those managing such facilities may not have actually stayed in their own rooms themselves. On the other hand, it feels like whoever designed this place considered everything from a personal user’s perspective because nothing is lacking here. (The bathroom doesn't have a reheating function for baths; hence my rating of 4 stars in that regard—but it's not something I'd ask to be changed as it’s perfectly fine as is.) It may not be highly "Instagrammable," but it offers more than enough comfort if your goal is to live like a local during your stay. The beautiful Yachimun pottery provided adds an extra touch of joy when preparing meals in the kitchen. The café breakfast experience was also wonderful—staff were very kind and accommodating with generous portions served. The scenery was stunning while the gentle music and atmosphere inside uplifted our morning mood beautifully. I’m already looking forward to visiting again next time! Thank you very much!
