Whenever we visit Nagashima Spa Land for two days, we always stay here. The location is great, with plenty of nearby coin-operated parking lots, and convenience stores and restaurants within walking distance. It’s quiet at night so we can sleep well, the amenities are so well stocked you won’t know what to choose, and the rooms are very clean and comfortable. This time, the male front desk staff member in the morning was especially memorable for his kind service and wonderful smile. We’ll definitely stay here again when we go to Nagashima Spa Land.

I visited expecting a traditional Accommodation, but the interior—such as the guest Rooms and dining area—had been beautifully renovated (so much so that it might feel a bit underwhelming if you are hoping for a strong Showa-retro vibe). While there are other Accommodations with an Onsen bath in the Room, this one had a spacious bathtub and bathroom, making it easy to relax. It was also great to enjoy different types of spring water at the main building’s large public bath and the annex’s private bath. Drinks at dinner were self-serve all-you-can-drink, so we didn’t need to order each time, which made it easy to enjoy. The attendants and other staff struck just the right balance—not intrusive yet not distant—and their thoughtful attention made our stay very comfortable.

I stayed here while snow was gently falling. It was a huge help that they stored my luggage both before and after check-in. I stayed in Room 203. It’s a room with a balcony overlooking the garden. The room was very spacious, with a latest-model TV, a ReFa showerhead, a wide vanity, and a bathtub with a washing area. The toilet was fully automatic as well—everything was excellent. All amenities were MIKIMOTO. My hair usually feels rough when I use Hotel shampoo, but at this Accommodation it stayed smooth and silky. There is an guests-only lounge, and it was a lovely service that coffee, tea, and more were available freely until midnight. I also appreciated being able to take drinks back to my Room. I had coffee at check-in, and it matched my taste perfectly—really delicious. The breakfast I had been looking forward to was 100/100. I’ve eaten at luxury Hotels before, but this may have been the best I’ve ever had. Everything was wonderful, but what especially stood out were the yuzu-scented okara (unohana), fu dengaku, the white-dashi miso soup, and the dashimaki tamago (rolled omelet). When I mentioned it was my birthday this time, they decorated the guest room beautifully and even offered matcha—such thoughtful hospitality. All staff members were incredibly kind, with such a warm and homey atmosphere that made it easy to talk to them. Watching how warmly they treated other guests also made me feel happy. I think this is the best Accommodation—one that welcomes you warmly whether it’s for a special occasion or not. Next time I visit, I’ll come specifically to enjoy an unhurried Hotel stay. Although I requested a non-smoking room, it smelled of cigarettes when I entered. I opened the window and turned on the ventilation fan and air purifier, and the smell eventually went away. Otherwise, everything was excellent. Check-in is at 2:00 PM and check-out is at 11:00 AM, so you can enjoy a relaxed stay. The Hotel in front of the station is easy to find, and there are many restaurants around it, which is very convenient. I would like to stay at this Hotel again.

This was my third visit to Itoshima, the first in two years. Last time, after heavy rain the day before, it suddenly turned into a midsummer day, and the breathtaking sunset—changing moment by moment against the vast ocean—was truly moving. I enjoyed delicious food and the relaxed pace that only an all-inclusive stay can offer. This time had a different atmosphere and some changes. Arriving in a downpour with luggage, I climbed the stone steps to check in. What surprised me right away was “10:00 checkout”! I never expected it to be an hour earlier—maybe a pitfall of being a repeat guest? I was told it was changed because lunch service starts at 11:00 with reservations… but 10:00 still feels far too early. Since we spend about four hours round trip for an overnight stay, we want to relax as much as possible. If possible, I hope you will consider setting check-in to 16:00 and returning checkout to 11:00—I would be glad if this request from repeat guests reaches you. This time we dined while watching the post-rain evening scenery, and the food was just as delicious as ever—I was very satisfied. The soup course in particular had wonderful Japanese dashi flavor and was deeply comforting, and the tempura made from fresh squid (prepared after sashimi) was especially appreciated; as someone who loves cooking at home, having a professional fry dishes is a real treat. It was also disappointing not to see any of the staff members from previous visits. The photo shows “Itoshima Bay—an evening view after the rain.”

I liked how the staff were casual and friendly. The 1st-floor restaurant also had a great vibe with its music and furniture, making my stay enjoyable. However, it was disappointing that the Room toilet and toilet paper were too far away, and the bidet was difficult to use.

The room was reserved as a twin. It did feel a bit small, but it was clean and equipped with everything necessary, so there were no issues. My husband and I talked about how great this Hotel is, offering welcome alcohol and a breakfast buffet at this price. We plan to use it again soon. Thank you for your hospitality this time.

It was a Japanese-style Room. It was larger than expected, which made us happy. We had a lot of luggage for the kids, so the spacious Room was very helpful. Everyone was very kind, and the service was polite and excellent. Breakfast was delicious as well. The staff spoke kindly to the kids there too, and they were delighted. Thank you very much.

The breakfast was wonderful. We had a great time! The campfire also had a lovely atmosphere. We’d love to visit again.

While nothing particularly stood out, the place was clean and had a calm atmosphere. Breakfast was included, and I was able to relax comfortably. I was also able to park in the adjacent parking lot. I was a little confused about the 100-yen fee when putting my shoes away.

A bit away from the city, and the Room is minimally sized, but if you just need a place to stay, it’s a great-value Hotel with no issues.

I booked because the Hotel is renovated, offers free parking, and includes a complimentary breakfast. The self-service amenities unique to an unmanned Hotel were thoughtfully provided down to the smallest details. When I went to the microwave area to warm up the rice sandwich hanging outside my Room, there were paper plates and chopsticks, as well as towels for guests on a Multiple Night Stay. In the Room, there were mint cookies, mint tea, mint soap, and mint bath salts; even the breakfast hand towel had a mint scent—and the shampoo and mist were also mint. The in-Room amenities were stylish, and the French Bed was extremely comfortable. The Moderate Twin had a large sink and bathtub (no separate washing area), and both the table set and closet space were very convenient. In addition to the toiletries, an extension cord was provided as well, so I didn’t feel inconvenienced at all. That said, perhaps because the door is thin, voices from inside Rooms can be heard in the hallway. There was also some operating noise from what seemed like an air conditioner or similar equipment. Those were my only concerns—overall I was very satisfied to enjoy such attentive service and a refreshing “all-mint” stay at this price. I would like to stay again.

It felt like an older Hotel, but the Room was kept very clean, and the bed mattress was comfortable, so I had a pleasant stay. The amenities next to the front desk were great: there was a variety of shampoos, plus snacks, various drinks, and even instant miso soup, which I really appreciated. The front desk staff were kind and helpful despite being busy, and the Hotel had a wonderful atmosphere. I would definitely like to stay here again.

Waking up when your body feels ready—pure bliss in the morning. Beyond the window, a deep blue sea and a white lighthouse in the distance. The lively chatter of people collecting shells on the beach and the sound of waves feel as if they could drift in from anywhere. Time here is endlessly quiet... Then comes the night pool, where adult time begins. A half moon casts a faint path of light across the sea. Floating on your back and gazing up at the sky—when the half moon slips behind the clouds, an overwhelming canopy of stars spreads out above. Every time I visit Hoshinoya, I’m reminded that each Facility has a completely different atmosphere—and that’s part of its greatest appeal. Here in Okinawa, there is nature and a perfectly crafted space designed to gently help cleanse both body and mind. And beyond that, hospitality that surpasses expectations awaited us.

The clean Room and smooth check-in process were great. You can enjoy Ramen Ichiran during breakfast hours (7:00-10:00). (Unfortunately, I couldn't try it this time due to timing.) Above all, the location is excellent. I will definitely stay here again when visiting Nagoya.

It was a very comfortable Hotel. Since it was a king-size bed, we were able to share one bed as a parent and child. I would like to use it again.

The Onsen was so relaxing! The Tateyama view in the morning was beautiful. Breakfast—the curry, yogurt, and croissants—was delicious.

Even just enjoying the complimentary curry makes this hotel well worth the price. The room was cold and I couldn’t switch the air conditioner to heating mode, so I contacted the front desk and they brought me a blanket. Although the facilities are a bit dated, everything was clean, and I could feel the staff’s thoughtful service throughout my stay.

This was my first stay. The front desk staff were very courteous. There were complimentary drinks on the first floor, and the ice-cold draft beer was excellent. The Room was spacious and had a massage chair, so I could relax, but I couldn’t adjust the air conditioning—when I tried to operate it, it turned off. I filled the in-room Onsen right away and enjoyed a very pleasant bath, but my parent, who has difficulty walking, said the step was high and felt scary. Since everything is flat around it, I thought a handrail would make it safer. I understand this may be difficult as it is not barrier-free. I was looking forward to dinner. Everything was delicious, including salt-grilled ayu and chicken hot pot, and even the white rice was excellent. The children’s lunch plate was also generous in portion size, and my child happily bit into a big fried shrimp. However, there was one thing that concerned me. My child’s dessert (a mousse-like item topped with fruit) that came with the lunch plate was taken away partway through for some reason. Since I happened to be on the phone at that moment, I wondered why. After that, as if nothing had happened, the removed dessert was served to an adult instead, and jelly was placed for my child. I assumed it had been a mistake, but I believe an explanation should have been given. Taking something once served to one person and then serving it to someone else seems inappropriate etiquette-wise. At the very least, some explanation when bringing out the jelly for my child would have been appreciated. Overall it is a wonderful Accommodation; only the dinner service response bothered me. Thank you very much.

This seems like a fine, old-fashioned Hotel often found in company towns. At first, the age of the Facilities and interior stood out, but on closer look everything was thoroughly cleaned throughout, and we had a very comfortable stay. The bathroom had no strange odors at all, and the mirrors and window glass were spotless as well. There were complimentary local shochu and free-flow coffee drinks, which was very convenient. Breakfast is served buffet-style in small bowls and feels very clean. The selection is not large, but the seasoning was good and we were more than satisfied. The only thing that bothered me was that the toilet seat was cold. I couldn’t tell whether it was a setting issue or if there was no heated-seat function, but on cold days it’s quite a shock. This time I stayed in a twin room with my son on our trip, and with the weekend-only Plan the value for money was excellent. If I have another chance to come here, I would definitely like to stay again.
